The Rescue Owerri governor, Rochas Okorocha, believed to be eyeing Orlu zone Senate post, what will he campaign on that he did for Orlu lga, the second most populated city in Imo state?:

1, he expanded Ihioma/Amaigbo road and three other short streets - total 4.5km; now working on the long abandoned old Owerri road;

2) established a two block School of Hygiene,

3) built market stalls.

But floods from uncompleted urban drainage system ravage Orlu.

Internal urban roads of Orlu are an eyesore.

Rescue governor can easily win Owerri senatorial zone where for seven years he built nearly all his development infrastructures and boasts he is making Owerri a Mega City like Dubai. At the same time, Orlu urban lga deteriorated.

How many times shall containers fall off a lorry before Nigeria's authorities concerned with safety standards on securing containers on trucks before travel on the road do their job?
If not, the zoo name for Nigeria becomes appropriate.

Boko Haram can not be defeated until Nigeria becomes a country governed with Islamic Sharia Criminal justice system.

Before Boko Haram emerged, 12 northern Nigeria's states adopted Islamic Sharia Criminal justice system

So figure out how Boko Haram cannot be defeated in Nigeria by military force.

Any candidate, even a cow, supported by Fulani-controlled north must win even a professor of law and most qualified presidential candidate from the south of Nigeria.

A presidential candidate must win 25% of votes in 24 states in order to be declared winner.

19 states + Abuja were proliferated in one northern region of Nigeria by Fulani-loyal military dictators. Babangida and Abacha. They created only 17 states in two southern regions.

But land mass is NEVER used as yardstick to determine how many and where new states or local government areas can be created in a country formed by many diverse regions.

Restructure Nigeria politically in a democratic manner before any further elections, if not Nigeria continues to have third rate, barely educated presidents to rule it in the 21st Century.

Turn of Owerri? How? Zoning or Equity?

But people of Owerri zone do not respect Zoning and Equity in Imo state.

Zoning/Equity is never limited to choice of governor in a state.

One sticking example: Federal University of Technology Owerri, Alvan Ikoku College of Education (then running degree courses), Owerri, Polytechnic Nekede Owerri - these institutions were all there in Owerri when Owerri-born former governor of Imo state, Evan Enwerem, ignored every zoning and equity principles, and still located Imo state University in a disused secondary school in Owerri;

despite that Enwerem and Owerri zone were shown a better and more modern university facility in Orlu where the government of Mbakwe and the World Bank spent huge sums of money to open a campus of Alvan Ikoku College of Education. ( Before then, Owerri had laiased with the military governor immediately after Mbakwe and closed the fledgling campus at Orlu and transferred every material, student and worker back to Owerri where students literally slept on top of the other, workers had to rent high cost accommodation in Owerri).

Owerri zone contains and covets nearly every modern development infrastructure in Imo state, including the three publicly subsidized universities in Imo state; all federal and state housing estates, all giant military and police barracks, all state and federal ministries, etc.

Owerri zone fought to finish all governors of Imo state who indicated intention to relocate Imo state University from the heart of Owerri to Orlu zone of 12 densely populated lgas, but unusual, has no full public university.

Let the best candidate win and succeed Rochas Okorocha.

Okorocha even worked like a governor from Owerri, as he deposits nearly all his development infrastructures in Owerri zone - and boasts all over Owerri that he is building Owerri Mega City to look like Dubai, while he denied Orlu the commensurate development infrastructures.

Politics › Re: Re: To Be Grateful Is Divine -CPS Onwuemeodo by kikake: 1:07am On Feb 23, 2018
themomentng:
As I was reading the Imo local journals on Monday, February 19, 2018, I came across the WhitePaper’s cover page caption: “To Rescue Mission APC Guber Aspirants- To Be Grateful Is Divine.” The piece was a nice one, a eulogy from a grateful veteran journalist, who Divine Providence than serendipity brought to the corridors of the Douglas House, to scribe professionally, and as a good General and soldier, must die at his post in defence of his master.

Though the tone of Comrade (Hon) Sam Onwuemeodo has changed overtime unlike before, when he perhaps was ‘worldly.’ The Sam Onwuemeodo we knew before his advent to the Douglas House, used to be a ‘fire-for-fire’ writer with the likes of late Maximus Ubah (Nwa Mbaise), Citizen Samuelson Iwuoha, Prof Protus Uzorma, etc. Perhaps events alter personality carriage and purviews, but not truths and facts.

Of a truth, I joined Protus Uzorma to criticise Governor Okorocha’s style of leadership, especially when he goes gaga. But I paused at a time I discovered one unparalleled disposition in the Governor’s personality carriage and leadership style. I appreciate his unflinching love for youths in the State and determination to mightily build the careers of such youths within his reach.

In terms of capital human development and building of intimidating profiles for youths in the State, Rochas stands upright and I ‘doubt’ if he will ever have any contemporary in the next twenty years in the State, going by the crop of politicians that emerge daily, who do not believe like Prof Protus Uzorma and Prince McDonald Akanno that the youths are really the leaders of today. Rochas believes, respects, and pays homage to elder statesmen in the State, but has endeavoured much of his focus and interests in building youths to a fault that of recent, it has tended to favour mostly his extended families, customised in-group and exclusive few.

Rochas thus deserves great gratitude to this effect. It is not just enough to bring together such mega youths-block as the Coalition of Imo Youths of Prof Protus Uzorma in Ideal Suites Hotel, but to build the youths as one grows in power. Though, it is very obvious that Protus would have exceeded Okorocha if UPP had won the 2015 guber election in Imo. It is not just enough to gather youths across the 27 LGAs in the State like Prince McDonald Akanno is doing now with the Movement for Greater Today in UUC Global. The enough is, if Akanno truly has such opportunity like Okorocha, will he build youths to apex career?

It is not enough to gather youths to commemorate the inglorious 2 Million March of youths earnestly seek for Abacha’s eyeless Vision 2020 by Chief Daniel Kanu, who is now projecting for blurred vision 2030. A vision with no perspective planning, will Kanu build the convened youths like Okorocha if he gets to the corridor of power? It is not enough to gather youths to aimless summits as the one had in the Rossy Arts Theatre on December 13, 2013. If Captain Iheanacho had won the guber election in 2015, would he have built youths like Rochas? The instances are endless.

In the beginning of his gubernatorial carrier, Rochas had dreams for youths’ profile-building. It takes pre-existent visions for a Governor to carry along and build over time a number of presentable and worthy youths to the doors of power. An unbiased evaluation of human resources in Okorocha’s government will show the desire to constantly build youths and at all time; to remember them in his programmes. His former and present Deputy Governors are approximately youths, and there were numerous youths Rochas raised in career and appointed as SAs, PAs, heads and deputy heads of departments, agencies, ministries and commissions, vital appointments in the Government House, and other appointments in various arms of government in the State, etc.

In this background and during his administration, Samuelson Iwuoha was then with Rt. Hon Ben Uwajumogu, Sam Onwuemeodo at the Governor’s Press Office, Uche Nwosu at the Chief of Staff, and other retired youthful appointees of Uche Ogbuagu’s set, etc. Later on, the likes of Kingsley Uju, George Eche, Obinna Mbata, Lugard Osuji, Jeff Nwoha, and many others rose solidly in Okorocha’s administration and were well established.

In my opinion, Gov Okorocha has done marvellously well and deserves gratitude from not only the built-youths, but from Imo youths in general. It is true there are numerous unemployed youths and that the Governor cannot employ all, but he has done creditably excellent unlike his predecessors who treated youths with ignominy. The Governor’s Millionaire Youths are also evident proofs to this claim, but insufficient to atone for the 10,000 jobs given to Imo youths by Gov Ohakim that he abolished and sent home unemployed, for the ennui the dismissed youths suffered, and for the crises he threw their families into.

These notwithstanding, gratitude and appreciation are indebtedness meant for the affected youths in general, and most especially, the parents and in-laws of the few youths Rochas built to be worthwhile in the State. If not for this consistent youths profile-building, who knows Uche Nwosu by 2007-2010? Was Sam Onwuemeodo not popular then?

All these apart, the truth must be told. This gratitude does not mean wholesale purchase of the Imo APC and gubernatorial candidacy to be Governor Rochas Okorocha’s sole affair. Was he doing these goods to Imo youths in order to be and buy the biblical anointing-pot of Judge Samuel? Career and profile-building is for transcendence, and whoever builds youths, is a good father whose best prayers are for his children to either grow like him or above him. As the Catholic Sage, Anthony de Mello, said “The Master’s skill is lost in the servant’s non-possession of it.”

The question of gratefulness to Rochas in Sam Onwuemeodo’s purview, which necessitates bowing to the Governor’s will, does not come here at all. It should have first gone to Chief Uche Nwosu, whose action going by Sam Onwuemeodo’s perspective of being grateful to Gov Okorocha, first showed sabotage. Was Uche Nwosu grateful to his father-in-law, Gov Okorocha, when he contested for the Imo APC primaries and won in 2014; even when Gov Okorocha still has the constitutional powers to run a second tenure (though it was an arrangement)? Is that gratefulness of him or game, Onwuemeodo?

Is Gov Okorocha contesting again or is his wife, son, daughter, brother, sister contesting for the guber primary in APC? As a growing youth, has Uche Nwosu not got enough career-building over the 8 years; to be: Deputy Chief of Staff, Commissioner, and Chief of Staff? Truly, Rochas has been just, but to much selected few, in-groups and to his in-laws and extended family mostly. See Tony Ololo and his wife. See Prof Anthony Anwuka. See Uche Nwosu. See Prince Eze Madumere and Sir Jude Ejiogu. Has Rochas not done enough for them in career building? Must Imo APC sell its soul to Rochas to build one man all through life? Uche Nwosu has been well-built and can rule Imo now and very well, going by his present grooming, but there are other statesmen, youths and well-bred Imolites and APC chieftains that can do better. Imo needs the best candidates; let’s allow them to emerge un-manipulated.

There is also the issue of equity charter and zoning of state politics that Onwuemeodo’s pious vision of gratitude undermines. Truth is sublime like gratefulness, just as equity is greatly subliminal than sheer gratitude, and thus has transcendental attributes like justice and fairness. Is Uche Nwosu from Owerri zone that all glamour to take over the leadership of the Douglas House, and which since the inception of modern democracy in Nigeria (1999-2019) has not tested the apex seat in Imo State?

Out of the 20 years (1999-2019) of modern democracy in Imo, Orlu zone (where Rochas and Uche Nwosu come from) has ruled for 16 years and Okigwe for 4 years. Are the Owerri zone’s zero year and Okigwe zone’s 4 years just for pious gratitude before a 16/20 sharing and ratio? This piety lacks sense of fairness, justice and truth, and thus is far from God. Has Orlu zone turned to Imo State’s Hausa/Fulani in Nigerian politics? Has Rochas turned to Imo OBJ? Is this the gratitude required of Rescue Mission APC?

Onwuemeodo by his purview of showing gratitude to Governor Okorocha, tends to push the State into the Nietzschean slave morality. We need the master morality and Machiavellian principles of submission to fiefs, in order to enforce equity and justice in Imo power-shift. Rochas’ judicious tenure is running out, he has to go when it comes and not to enforce candidates on APC, except if Onwuemeodo wants to tell Imolites that his Boss is running again for the Imo APC guber, cache and by proxy in the person of his son-in-law, Uche Nwosu. If it is so stated, then gratitude comes up after researching on the ethics of gratitude on proxy, life-governorship, and self-perpetuation in power.

What Rochas should have done is to pick an average-aged industrialist from Owerri zone in the APC, who he trusts, like Barr Chima Anozie and then feature his son-in-law as Deputy Governor. This still builds higher, the career of the youthful Uche Nwosu, who youths in the State admire greatly. It will also restore the lost equity charter in the State, restore the confidence of APC members in the State, and thus encourage more youths. Truly, Rochas errs in trying to impose another Orlu zone guber aspirant- Uche Nwosu on Imo APC and the State in general. It shows insentience to the inequity umbrages of the Owerri and Okigwe zones’ in the State.

Prince Stanley U Okoroji write from Imo State, (08064378213)
People of Imo state must aspire for the best candidate to succeed gov Okorocha who practically governed Owerri zone all his tenure, as he boasts on the streets of Owerri that he is building Owerri to become a Mega City, like a Dubai of Africa.

Equity/ Zoning system IS NEVER limited to choice of governor in any state.
It's also extended to distribution of development infrastructures in every state.

Orlu and Okigwe zones contain little to nothing of the modern development infrastructures of government that are massed up in Owerri zone.

The government of Rochas Okorocha even doubled, and in some cases tripled the development infrastructures in Owerri, without a thought that there are two other zones in the state who do not have such development facilities.

Owerri zone contains practically all the modern development infrastructures, including the three universities, federal housing estates, armed forces installations, ministries in Imo state, and refuses let go of any.

FUTO, Polytechnic Nekede, Alvan Ikoku College of Education existed in Owerri when Owerri-born former governor of Imo state, Evan Enwerem, still located Imo state University in Owerri, after refusing all arguments on Equity/Zoning in location of educational institutions in a state, despite that Enwerem was shown a better, bigger and ultramodern university facility in the closed campus of Alvan Ikoku College of Education at Orlu.

If Owerri zone wants to go for Equity, it must have clean hands.

Every governor of Imo state had sought to relocate Imo state University from its present campus in the heart of Owerri, to Orlu zone of 12 heavily populated local government areas but strangely has no full public university,, but Owerri people, each time, were up in combat to resist the relocation.

Owerri has to submit to redistribution of development infrastructures of government that are erroneously massed up in Owerri, before Owerri can argue for Equity/Zoning in choice of governor for Imo state.

A STATE IS SUPPOSED TO DEVELOP UNIFORMLY.

THERE IS NO WHERE IN NIGERIA'S CONSTITUTION WHERE IT IS STIPULATED THAT EVERY STATE GOVERNOR MUST DEVOTE MOST OF THE STATE'S INFRASTRUCTURES ON THE STATE CAPITAL, WHILE REST OF THE TOWNS OF THE STATE REMAIN GLORIFIED VILLAGES.

@BiafralShere, Yours is the mindset of a typical Owerri Dud who normally believes that Imo state was created for successive state governors to use all the Capital Development funds budgeted every year by IMSG, as well as the federal allocations of the 27 lgas of Imo state, to provide development infrastructures in Owerri.

Owerri fights every governor to ensure that all six tertiary academic institutions and Federal housing estates and ministry locations wrongly located in Owerri remain in Owerri.

Ask Owerri man why? His only answer is because Owerri is the State Capital.

Result of Owerri having nearly every development infrastructures of Imo state are:

a plot of land belonging to an Owerri indigene appreciates in value and sells for million million Naira.

An average Owerri man sells a plot of land and has no need to do work all his life.

If an average civil servant from Orlu and Okigwe areas can afford to train one ward in any of the tertiary academic institutions scattered all over Owerri, an average civil servant from Owerri zone can train five wards in the Owerri institutions, given the advantages to Owerri of nearness to the institutions.

It's estimated that N2 billion cash moves into Owerri zone every week from the tertiary education institutions in Owerri. Some of those institutions should have been spread out to Orlu and Okigwe areas to enhance even development of Imo state.

You are happy to have a state forced by ignorant governors and greedy Owerri locals to have only one modern city - the twin cities of New and Old Owerri. because you come from the area where the modern city is located.

well, I wrote this titled: We Will Not Vote For You Unless You Do These 11 Things: Presidential Aspirants
https://www.nairaland.com/4287028/not-vote-unless-these-11

check item seven on the list

For every presidential aspirant, here is our requirement checklist if you actually want us to cast our votes for you in the coming 2019 election.

We don't care about what political party you belong to anymore -whether old party or new party, popular or unpopular; we don't care about what religion anymore; we don't care about what tribe or region anymore but
You

1. Must attend not less than 3 presidential debates: how do we know you're mentally stable and not a slowpoke if you cannot give reasonable responses to simple debate questioning?

2. Must undergo medical qualification tests: both the psychiatricals and others. The result must be verified by a notable medical panel and must be made availale to the general public.
People do medical tests even for secondary school admission, so why not for presidency aspiration.

3. Must have a governing plan (just like a business plan or a master plan) and make it available to the general public through the all the social media channels.
Bank cannot commit their cash to people without a good business plan with clearly written goals and objectives, figures, strategies and a guarantor, so how much more should we commit the life, future and properties of more than 150millions Nigerians to you without a plan.
In the plan must also be indicated your personer track records of successes.

4. Must have more than secondary school education. (There's nothing new about this)

5. Must have at least one of your children educated in a public university in Nigeria (not private): by this we will surely know that you believe in the future of Nigeria and that you will work towards her betterment.
This is a price not too much to pay if you realy love us.
We are tired of insensitivity of government towards the development of standards of educational setup in Nigeria, the strikes and industrial actions.

6. Must be a patronage of Nigerian made products and services and you must believe in capacity building of Nigerian indigenous businesses to provide exportable products and services to neighbouring countries, Africa and the world at large.

7. Must be wide reader and self development enthusiast: If you don't constantly feed your mind with transformative, educative and informative ideas through books, you don't have a business doing with presidency in Nigeria.
We are tired of archaic approaches to human governing. We need mordern, liberated and future oriented leaders to lead us in Nigeria, not power mongers, who just want to be in government for power, fame and monetary gain.

8. Must be within the working age range (younger than 60 years): "what's good for the goose is good for the gander".
Towards old age, people become less and less physically, socially, mentally and psychologically fit to cope with occupational demands, not to talk of rulling a nation of more than150million citizens, so retirement is compulsory.
The retirement age in Nigeria civil service guided by decree No. 102 of 1979 that dealt with pension and gratuity pegged the statutory age of retirement for public officers at 60 years, while it is 65 years for judiciary officers and 70 for academic staff of universities. However with reform of civil service decree No. 43 of 1988, retirement age has been put at 60 years or 35 years in service.

9. Must have no public record of hate speech, tribalism, nepotism, crime against humanity, pending corruption charges or history, and or affiliation with any millitant group or religion fundamentalist group or terrorist group :
We will never ever think again that people will change. Ascenssion to power only gives people the chance to express their true self.

10. Must have done something contributary to the development of your immediate environment: this is simple, is'nt it?

11. Must be well educated about the constitution of Nigeria. We are tired of reminding the government what to do and what's not to do. We are tired of reminding the government about what's in the costitution they swear to uphold. This is 21st century.
The INEC in collaoration with the National Assembly and the Judiciary Counsel of Nigeria should create an online platform where common citizen can get proper education about the Nigerian constitution. They should maku use of shot animated videos and other training material. Certificates should also be awarded.
As if the ten million or more Almajiri voters who constitute Buhari's major support base can read this your marvellous contribution.

Buhari needs 25% of votes in 24 of the 36 states to be proclaimed re-elected in 2019.

Of the 24 states, 20 exist in Fulani-controlled old northern region where Fulani-loyal military dictators proliferated 19 states and Abuja. The military dictators wrongly used land mass as criterion and proliferated the 19 states + Abuja in the northern region.

Buhari can easily win 25% of votes of the Almajiris in the 19 states and Abuja.

Not even the best educated and most qualified southern Nigerian presidential candidate can win 25% in 24 states, unless Fulani says it's not interested in the president coming from northern region.

The Buhari types shall dominate Nigeria until Nigeria's skewed 36 states and Abuja political structure is restructured democratically.

If next governor comes from Owerri zone, sure he must start to build Underground Metro Transport System in Owerri with the Capital Development funds of Imo state while Orlu and Okigwe zones don't even have good roads in them.

Owerri-born former governor of Imo state, Evan Enwerem, defied all genuine reasons to locate Imo state university outside Owerri zone which then housed FUTO, AICE, POKYNEKEDE, while Okigwe and Orlu zones had no tertiary education institution; while then there was a big and better facility to house IMSU at the closed campus of AICE at Orlu.

By the way, Rochas Okorocha did nearly all his development projects in Owerri, so he represents Owerri zone.

Okigwe or Orlu zones indeed deserves to produce the next governor if we are using Equity/Zoning to select who succeeds Rochas as governor of Imo state.

Boko Haram says that it's fighting for a country to be governed with Islamic Sharia criminal justice system.

It's a religious war. Hardly ends.

Nigerians born and unborn must be prepared to enroll in the armed forces to fight off Boko Haram, perhaps, till the world ends.
Far north has adopted Sharia criminal justice system.

Rest of Nigeria sheepishly sticks to one Nigeria with far north.

It's no point reporting Boko Haram news since rest of Nigeria sticks with far north to one Naijeriyaaa.

Before we start to do zoning of governorship, we must redistribute all three federal universities, all federal housing estates, all ministries, all military and police installations that are in Imo state which are wrongly located only in Owerri zone, we redistribute these development amenities between Orlu, Okigwe and Owerri zones. Orlu and Okigwe zones have nothing, absolute nothing of Imo state.,

If not, let the best and most powerful guber candidate from any zone win.

So what was in Orlu before Okorocha if you feel those things I listed are nothing? He gave Orlu underground drainage and dual carriage ways but you still think it's nothing. Tell me of any Governor apart from Akpabio who has changed a one road city to a double lane city? Imo State is not a rich State but Okorocha succeeded because of wisdom. Below are photos from construction of roads in Orlu.
Okorocha govt must have built dozens of dual carriageway and underground drainage systems in Owerri.

Where is the sense in boasting about the Ihioma-Amaigbo Road which was changed to double lane in Orlu? The other double lanes streets do not add up to one kilometer.

Or you don't know that it's illegal for a state governor to lavish nearly all the state's capital development funds and local government allocations on building only the State capital?

Can you accept president Buhari lavishing nearly all of Nigeria's capital development funds on Abuja, and tell rest of Nigeria to wait for the next government for development of their cities?

Come to Orlu, move out from this dualized Ihioma-Amaigbo road, and go into the scores of fully inhabited Urban roads in Orlu, you shall curse whoever is governor of Imo state punishing citizens with dusty and muddy streets, more so, considering how the governor lavishes his road and other projects only on Owerri soil.

It's an old photo from drainage construction by Timik at Banana junction.
Orlu Drainage Project is the underground drainage Project that was started by Ikwechegh govt from St. Joseph Catholic Church, Umuna and to Chanel flood into Ogidi Valley about (700 meters gutter). It was not completed.

Okorocha mentioned this project in a video address last year where he stated "I know we are yet to complete Orlu urban drainage system."

Please let Okorocha understand that if he fails to complete this gutter to channel Orlu floods away from the City, whatever road he builds in Orlu area, including the road to Ogboko, shall all wash away soon.

Before Okorocha, Orlu was more from Nkwoito to St Joseph but he extended it beyond Banana junction to Amaifeke/Okporo and then built an expressway from Banana junction to Nkume with a new stadium, new cultural center, new high court, new college of health, new skills acquisition center, new markets and new general hospital. I can show photos of all the things I mentioned.
Expansion of a city means new living, industrial or commercial area springing up and extending beyond from where a city once stopped.

Orlu did not expand under Okorocha govt, except for Building Materials market articulated during the late 2000s.

As for Okorocha's new stadium in Orlu - halted

Cultural centre - insignificant/unknown.

High Court - insignificant building.

College of Health - two blocks and insignificant, hardly any activities go on there, a gate man with gate locked, 24/7.

Nneoma Skill Acquisition Centre - a small enterprise.

General Hospital? Where is it?

That's a lie bro. All of Imo State is under serious construction and development as we write with no area favored presently. No Governor in history of Imo State brought 1/10th of this type of development.
Demolition is what is going on now all over Imo state, not construction.

Even if there shall be construction outside Owerri, it's too late for Okorocha who devoted seven years of his tenure in demolishing and rebuilding in Owerri.

Fire brigade approach.

Imo guber: My deputy lacks political value--- Okorocha

Once again those of us who brought Owelle Rochas' blatant disrespect for his loyal deputy, Eze Madumere to the fore have been vindicated by the above derogatory statement. This is not just an insult on the Deputy Governor, but also an insult on Owerri zone. Little wonder the ongoing impeachment plot against Madumere who has declared his intention to vie for the governorship seat of Imo state against the dictatorial wishes of eze onye agwalam his boss who has vowed that his son-in-law must succeed him. Anyway Ndi Imo in their majority have told him in very clear terms that his stooge won't succeed him as they are weary of the governance of demolition, hunger, pain and poverty.

The bitter crisis in the APC continues to rage on with the circus party widely torn into various factions that are battling for supremacy. Eze Madumere continues to be highly disrespected and degraded by the first family as the first son-in-law acts as the de-facto deputy governor with Madumere being relegated to the background. It is crystal clear he no longer has any political value to Okorocha, who has used and squeezed dry to the detriment of Owerri zone in particular and Imo in general.

Imolites are keenly watching to see if the debacle that befell Madumere's predecessor, Jude Agbaso, will befall him too going by his boss' notorious penchant for backstabbing and betrayals to suit his gluttonous lifestyle. Like Agbaso, like Madumere?

Come 2019 Ndi Imo in our majority have vowed to stone out the clueless, hapless and helpless APC into political oblivion with our precious votes as we were well armed with our PVCs and will surely protect our votes from those who have gold medals in election rigging. As Okorocha and APC's continuous insult on Ndi Imo will no longer be tolerated.
[Okorocha built 76% of his development infrastructure in Owerri zone]. DG Madumere to Vanguard News.

Unknown to many, gov. Okorocha parted ways with his Deputy, Madumere, last year after Madumere told Vanguard News interview that Okorocha built 76% of his development projects in Owerri zone.
But it's believed that Okorocha used more than 96% on the state capital.

Okorocha knew:

It's unconstitutional for a state governor to use the allocations of the local government areas of the state, plus most of the state's Capital Development funds, to build only on the state capital, while rest of the state decays.

You're wrong kikake. Okigwe was much bigger than Orlu as at 2011 but Okorocha's rapid urban development led to expansion earlier but still not larger in size. Maybe one side of Okigwe is what you mean but from the express junction towards Onuimo is Okigwe too.
Building materials market Umuowa Orlu is the only expansion done to Orlu urban lga under Okorocha govt. I challenge you to name any other expansion of Orlu urban under Okorocha govt.

Three miles radius is the standard coverage for an urban centre. You must be out of touch with reality to say that hill-constrained Okigwe has ever been larger than Orlu.

Your Rescue Family crew woke up very very late to realize that you need Orlu and Okigwe areas in order for Rescue Family to have a quiet post-May 29. 2019.

But Your Rescue Family despised us for informing you since 2014 that your reliance on only Owerri shall make you fail flat. Most apolitical Rescue Family.

Tomorrow someone will come and tell us that Imo state starts and end with Owerri while I've seen development in Orlu, Okigwe, Oguta, Mgbidi, Obowo, Umuaka, Mbaise and Ogboko. Rochas has done well in Imo state, haters should use their heads and node transformer.

Some states cannot burst of even one stadium while almost all the big towns in Imo state has at least one stadium while Orlu has two.
Work on Orlu Stadium started before Okigwe's.

Work on Orlu stadium remains abandoned in the last three years,

Work on Okigwe's Princess Hotel advanced by Okorocha govt.

Work did not even start on Prince Hotel budgeted for Orlu.

Even at that, the population and size of Orlu urban is more than 2 times the population and size of Okigwe.

You expect loads of Orlu love and votes to Okorocha's Rescue Family.

Okorocha's administrative policy is most skewed, geared towards repressing Orlu urban lga, but uplift Owerri and Okigwe zones.
