Throwback:
You are a religious fundamentalist who has gone over the hill because of religious bigotry.

At the end of the day, all politics is local and Americans will always decide their future based on their own perception, and not based on the perception of a refugee seeking inferiority complexed religious bigot in Africa.

Obama did his bit after inheriting an economic recession from the Republicans and won reelection with a landslide. Regardless of the irrelevant opinion of Africans like you who for religious sake, were determined to believe Obama was a Muslim lover as though it were a crime, or that providing equal opportunities for all regardless of religion was a sin in Christianity or against the American constitution.
She overplayed her religious extremism over Nigeria's presidential election in 2015 where she and Amanpour openly canvassed for Buhari through CNN, but castigated Jonathan.

A day to Nigeria's 2015 presidential election, Amanpour even invited Emir of Kano to a live broadcast interview where she was practically putting castigating words into the mouth of Emir Sanusi against Jonathan.

Who defends a state governor that builds statues instead of providing treated running water to citizens?

In 2010/11, people in Orlu zone had in mind that Imo state government was owing the multi-billion Naira regional surface water supply scheme to Orlu zone. The govt had done similar water projects in Okigwe and Owerri zones.

In four years, Ohakim promised to start the water project for Orlu zone.

Mostly because of the water project, on election day in 2011, Rochas Okorocha got the highest number of votes from Orlu area, swept the polls in Orlu zone.

Nine months to end of Rochas Okorocha's government, there is no pipe borne water either in Orlu or anywhere in Imo state.

Water begets life. Treated pipe borne water is the first commodity any responsible leader provides the citizens.

Worse, Rochas Okorocha is seeking for Third term as governor of Imo state.
Politics › Re: Presidency Moves To Forcibly Reconvene Senate, Impeach Saraki by kikake: 3:03pm On Jul 30, 2018
nairavsdollars:
Temidayo Akinsuyi, Lagos

– There are ongoing plans by some All Progressives Congress (APC) senators working in connivance with the presidency to forcibly reopen the Senate ahead of the September 25 date it was officially expected to resume.

A presidency source told Daily Independent that the move was being considered in view of the suspicion that Senate President Bukola Saraki may have taken the decision for a long adjournment for “selfish reasons”.

Daily Independent gathered that the plot to have the Senate summarily reconvened with the objective of effecting Saraki and Ike Ekeremadu’s impeachment is part of the Plan B in the hatchery of those whose plot to allegedly remove them on Tuesday, last week, failed.

The source said they are seeking legal advice to this effect.

He said another reason being advanced was the anxiety of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) regarding the effects of the shutdown of the National Assembly on the commission’s N242, 445,322,600 2019 poll budget.
A notable member of the Reformed APC, who confirmed the plot, said the presidency was being persuaded by some powerful individuals to forcibly reopen the Senate, impeach Saraki and his deputy, Ike Ekweremadu, and subsequently arrest them.

He said if the move succeeded, Yakubu Dogara, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and his Deputy, Yusuf Lasun, would also not be spared.

It was gathered that leading the plot on the part of the APC senators was Ahmed Lawan, the Majority Leader, and Adams Oshiomhole, the party’s national chairman.

Our source said: “The presidency is currently seeking the opinion of lawyers and experts on how it will be possible to reconvene the Senate ahead of the September date announced by the Senate President.

Once the move succeeds, I don’t see how Saraki will remain as Senate President. The same applies to his Deputy, Ekweremadu.”

According to the R-APC member, “The general impression in the presidency is that Saraki’s adjournment is not in the interest of the APC and the country, and they feel he cannot continue to hold the APC to ransom. So, if the plot sails through, he should consider himself gone as President of the Senate.”

Nigerians at the weekend said it would be unconstitutional for the All Progressives Congress (APC) – led Federal Government to reconvene the Senate before the September 25 official date announced by Bukola Saraki, the Senate President.

While these may seem impossible, many are afraid that the government can carry out the move, especially given the role played by Adams Oshiomhole, APC National Chairman, in the siege to Saraki and Ekweremadu’s homes last week prior to the defection of 14 senators to the opposition.

Speaking with Daily Independent, Prof. Itse Sagay (SAN), Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption (PACAC), said the presidency lacked the power to reconvene the Senate ahead of the September 25 resumption date.

He, however, said if there was an urgent need for the Senate to reconvene in order to deliberate on an urgent matter such as the issue raised by INEC concerning funding of the 2019 election, the presidency could go to court to seek an order compelling the Senate to resume.

“No. the APC can’t reconvene the Senate. If the Senate decides to shut down for that period they decided to shut down, which is September 25, the executive arm of government cannot reverse it on their own.

“They may, however, resort, to court action to order them to open it, especially if there is a pressing need for them to reconvene such as the issue of funding of election,” he said.

Yunusa Tanko, National Chairman of the National Conscience Party (NCP), also said it would be unconstitutional for the presidency to attempt to forcibly reopen the Senate without the input of Saraki, who is the chairman of the National Assembly.

“I don’t think the APC-led Federal Government has that power. I believe the National Assembly can only be reconvened by the leadership of the National Assembly.

“If they attempt that, it will be a gross violation of democratic ethos.

“If there is any conservative way in which they want to reconvene the Senate, let them show us.

“But as far as I am concerned, it is the leadership of the National Assembly that can do the reconvening and that can only be done by the Senate President or the Speaker of the House of Reps.”

Speaking in a similar vein, Balarabe Musa, elder statesman and former governor of Kaduna State, said the presidency could only appeal to the Senate President to reconvene the Senate if there was a need for them to do so.

“They can only appeal to the Senate President to come and reconvene the parliament. They have no power to do that on their own. It will be unconstitutional if they do so,” he said.

In his remark, Yinka Odumakin, National Publicity Secretary of Afenifere, said it would amount to political gangsterism and a return to military dictatorship if the executive arm of government decided on their own to reconvene the Senate.

“They lack such power and it will be political gangsterism carried to the extreme for the executive to now go and reconvene the Senate.

“Gradually, we are descending into a dictatorship which shouldn’t be since we are not under the military.

“So, I don’t think they want to carry out such act, but if they do, then that will be the end of democracy and we will be back to martial rule and military dictatorship,” Odumakin said.

Defection: God has removed stones from our rice, sand from our gari —Lai Mohammed

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has described the defection of some National Assembly members from the ruling All Progressives Congress as “the removal of stones from (the party’s) rice” and sieving of “sand from [its] gari (cassava meal).”

He added that the defection to opposition parties had “exposed the faces of traitors.”

Today is a special day. God has answered our prayers by exposing our political traitors.

“God has removed stones from our rice and sands in our gari,” Mohammed, who addressed the rally in Yoruba language, said.

He assured that the defection would have no significant negative effect on the party; instead, he said, it would offer an opportunity for its re-positioning.

We are here today to assure that it is a new dispensation in Kwara APC politics. We are at home today to assure you that the party will be re-organised and re-positioned.

“By exposing the enemies and traitors in our fold, God has given us the opportunities that we have been looking for to re-position our party.

“These are people who had never given us peace and progress.

Today, by the grace of God and with your support, APC will wax stronger in Kwara. What is in the offing is a mega party,” he said.

Mohammed said they were prepared to take the party structure back and give it back to the people.

“The party belongs to you all. We therefore reassure you that God is with us and the people of Kwara are with us.

“Since the day they decamped, you can see those who have come to our camp are more than those who left,” he said.

Imo state is a soured state in Igbo land.
Only state in Igbo land created far back 1976, yet has only one modern city.

Rochas Okorocha worsened the situation.
Orlu massively voted Okorocha in 2011 to make Imo state have two or more modern cites.

But ancient malice, instead made Okorocha destroy existing infrastructures in Orlu -

Okorocha first destroyed Orlu sports stadium - the stadium seats and floodlights gone., ...

he suffocated the teaching hospital in Orlu because of his personal university in his village;

he stifled the Imo International market in Orlu as he refused to reconstruct the roads to the market.

he scrapped about 16km of roads in Orlu and abandoned them since 2012.

To project and perpetuate his malice against Orlu, Okorocha seems to be ready to stake anything.

The much-boasted Mgbidi Market and Oguta lake resorts have disappeared from Okorocha govt's dictionary, perhaps these places are associated to Orlu, as Okorocha builds market after market in Owerri.

Time to give account is fast approaching.

The 2 flyovers and 2 tunnels are already in use while the underpass though completed still has the access road under construction. Okorocha is not a media hype friendly Governor hence the lies about him and secrecy of his projects.
Through concentration of nearly all his government's development projects in Owerri, Okorocha's government economically over-empowers natives of Owerri capital territory, but impoverishes natives of rest of Imo state.

Votes or support for election rigging for Okorocha for Third term, by natives of Owerri Capital territory can't make the Third term Okorocha craves.

This Okorochas's planned media hype, what can he show other than his Owerri projects - as usual?

Outside Owerri, he can only show his Stadium in Okigwe.

Let him not further irritate the people of Imo state outside Owerri capital territory with this proposed media hype.

On election day, people troop out from Owerri to their communities, see the rot or development in their communities, then decide who to support with votes -

In the 1980s Imo state, due to the concentration of industries, the government officially designated Aba, Umuahia and Orlu as the industrial hubs of then Imo state.

Abia left Imo state, the concentration of the four tertiary education institutions in Imo at Owerri gave rise to building of hotels for sex tourism in Owerri.

Since then, Imo got stuck up in Owerri. It gradually became strange before some section of Imo state to talk about extending government infrastructures beyond Owerri.
With time, the industries in Orlu area started to pack up. Imo is today in a sorry state.

The Ohakim and Okorocha who suffer Imo people gladly still hold sway in Imo state. Today, Owerri constitute the largest proportion of supporters of either Okorocha for Third term, or Ohakim to return to power, because the duo seriously believe the falsehood that a government is to ignore rest of the state and first use the state's resources to build a modern state capital.

It's only a foolish fool that will still continue to daydream about a United Nigeria in the near future.

Nigeria is gone. Scientifically, In fact, based on any indices, Nigeria can not survive.

I don't blame those begging for unity though. Fear of unknown is real. The reason most Nigerians fear disintegration is because they fear the outcome might leave them worse than the present.
One thing though they must come to terms with is that change is inevitable.

This centre certainly cannot hold anymore.

The real reason We spill hate online is not because we love to hate, it's just because we are getting in each other's way. We don't belong together.
I know those I can tolerate in Nigeria and I know those I can't. Separate me from the later, and you'll see we are just normal people after all.

The hate will only worsen as long we are forced to remain together.
Truth however, is the hate will surely give birth to conflict someday, and the inevitable will become reality.

Ever wondered why the Igbos are so many in the West, yet they record almost zero tribal conflict in there history together?
Ever wondered why there are far fewer Hausa fulani in the South, but hardly a year passes without ethnic killing involving them? Is all about compatibility.

We know this things yet we pretend, because at least for now, it seems more convenient to pretend.

Nigeria is just a dried tree waiting to fall.
A nation of Igbo and Yoruba with others in the south must be the most progressive nation in Africa.

Let the Yoruba Muslims understand this.

Politics › Re: How nPDP Led Oyegun To Destroy APC - Lauretta Onochie by kikake: 8:59am On Jul 27, 2018
Jaisman26:
The Presidency on Thursday blamed past leadership of former Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief John Oyegun for the crisis in the party.
Buhari’s Personal Assistant on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie in a statement on her Facebook page said electing Oyegun was a grave mistake as he was led by leaders of nPDP who brought the downfall of the party.

According to her, Oyegun served the party in the interest of nPDP leaders who operated on the template laid by nPDP.
“It has to be understood that the only experience Nigerians have had in the recent times has been that of PDP. Their system was not ordinary people friendly. Ordinary party faithfuls had no part nor say in PDP affairs. PDP was and is still run by impunity. Only one person and at best, a few people, decide what needs to be done.

“Consequently, the leadership of Chief Oyegun, copied verbatim, the PDP ways of doing things. It must be understood too, that the only example Chief Oyegun had of party leadership in recent times was PDP. But he was unwilling to adapt. He was not willing to be innovative or creative. At first he showed eagerness to do things differently but now we know, why he couldn’t lead change.

“It turned out that the nPDP was a pebble in the blender that blended APC into a merger. The nPDP, being a pebble that sneaked into a blender that merged ACN, ANPP, CPR and half APGA, could not merge with the others as their character was still, PDP. This nPDP hijacked Chief Oyegun and used him to transform our treasured APC into something many of us could not recognise. Nigerians began to look for, but could not see the difference between APC and PDP. Consequently, many of us either stood aloof and watched or began a background campaign to recover our party. I joined the later.

“Impunity took over the national APC. Some members of the National Working Committee, complained bitterly that Chief Oyegun was acting alone, guided of course, by nPDP leaders in the party. Everything he did was to serve their interests. The NWC would decide on an issue. Behind them, Chief Oyegun would reverse their collective decisions. He ran the APC HQ as a private estate. Are you asking how I came about that conclusion? I am from Delta State. I’ll just hang it there!

“And then it happened. His Excellency, Comrade Oshiomhole, a core progressive, emerged as the new leader of APC and all hell broke loose! Grumbling became louder. Threats erupted. There was jittery. There was panic. Those who were used to having their ways, sought to escape. They began to be comical. They did not need anyone to tell them that the game was up. They scampered like frightened chicks at the appearance of a shadow of an eagle from the sky. They know they cannot manipulate our Comrade. They know he belongs to the people. Yes the people!

“Many of us were delighted. As I said earlier, we wanted an APC that is different both in character and content from PDP. But the pebbles that refused to be merged, ensured APC remained bloated, overweight, inedible and indigestible. Many Nigerians voiced the glaring fact that APC looked like, talked like and acted like it’s older brother, PDP. But that was not APC. It was nPDP.

“But the change is now happening. Not totally, because there are still remnants of the old order, who would want everything to continue at the APC HQ, as usual. We are watching them and we will not tolerate their impunity and corruption in our new NWC. We will speak up.

“Looking like PDP was not funny. It wad sad. Being obese is unhealthy by any standard. It’s time to lose weight. It’s time for members of all political parties in Nigeria to return to where they feel comfortable in terms of ideology. In APC, we expected defections of pebbles who could not blend with the rest of us. We are also expecting that those Nigerians who are stranded in other parties or who could not see the difference between APC and PDP, would soon see the difference and return to where they truly belong.

“What is happening now, is great for the growth of party politics in Nigeria. When we are through, when one says he/she is APC or PDP, we will, straight away, know who they are and what they stand for. Parties will be driven by ideologies, not by personal interests or stomach infrastructure.

“We are in a good place in our democratic journey. APC is going through renovation and refurbishment. We could not have had a better pair of hands than His Excellency, Comrade Adams Eric Aliyu Oshiomhole to supervise the work of recovering our great party, APC.

“We must all join hands with our party leaders to fully recover our party. We are nearly there. We will show Nigerians that we are different. We ask Nigerians to be patient with us as we fight for the heart and soul of our party.
A! P! C! Change! Change has come to APC. His name Oshiomhole!”

Nigeria is a country where a most backward group leads.
The group leads so after using its loyal military dictators to restructure the country between 1967 to 1996, and also supervised a constitution imposed on the country in 1999.

The constitution legitimizes the fraudulent political structure and the democratic institutions that support the political structure under a quasi unitary government system.

Nigeria's 36 states and Abuja political structure, with 19 states and Abuja proliferated at every nook and cranny of the old northern region, enables the Fulani group which is well spread in most of the northern states to draw excess political representation to lord it over the rest of Nigerian groups.

That dusty-muddy roundabout is what Okorocha displays on his government's web site as his achievement in Orlu.

Close to half a million people live on dilapidated and dust/mud filled two lane streets in Orlu municipal, as Okorocha builds 10-lane streets and federal government prisons and police barracks in Owerri.

Turn by turn development policy in a state - policy bought only by ignoramuses.
