Xavi will replicate what Guadiola did in Barcelona and Just watch it, after years in Barcelona, he will leave the job, take a One year break and Man City will sign him just like Guadiola as at when Guadiola will be the coach of Spain and wins a world cup with Spain and then after xavi leaves man City, he will then coach Spain and win the world cup too.

I detest Liverpool scoring early goals, it simply sets up the match for a high scoring one with Liverpool conceding two or more.

Your first sentence was correct. But then, Liverpool's collapse was due to absence of Fabinho with his ability to break up play and calmly progress ball from defensive third to the more attacking members of his team.

I think Liverpool's main problem right now is Klopp abandoning meritocracy for big name.

I can't wrap my head around why Van Dijk is starting ahead of Matip on current form.

The worst part is benching Matip for Konate in their important matches.

Cristiano Ronaldo leaving Real Madrid was a seismic event for the Spanish giants and one which they have only just started to recover from, yet what is proving fascinating is how
Barcelona are following the exact same path Los Blancos did in the immediate aftermath of Ronaldo's exit, now that Lionel Messi has left the club.

Messi and Ronaldo not only defined an era in world football, but they defined an era in LaLiga Santander. It was those two players at the head of the mountain, with the supporting cast being just that, support.

Both clubs knew that it would be impossible to replace their contributions on the pitch, but it's difficult to imagine either club anticipated just what a colossal presence and influence on the entire club they were losing. Los Merengues are in their fourth season without Ronaldo, and only Karim Benzema has really stepped up to the plate, although with Vinicius Jr getting better all the time and Rodrygo Goes showing glimpses of brilliance, there is light at the end of the tunnel for the club, especially if Kylian Mbappe soon arrives.

For the Blaugrana, they are merely entering the eye of the storm, the worst possible moments when it becomes painfully clear just what Messi brought to the Camp Nou in both a footballing and structural sense. It seems folly to suggest any player could be bigger than a club, but it wouldn't be out of line to suggest that Messi was propping Barcelona up for a number of years, especially as their financial crisis worsened and transfer decisions were botched.

Coaching Changes

Real Madrid suffered a double blow in the summer of 2018, needing to replace Zinedine Zidane as well as Ronaldo, and Julen Lopetegui was the coach chosen. He lasted just two months and was sacked on October 29. It's interesting to note that Ronald Koeman has suffered the same fate after just two months this season, being fired on October 27.

A crisis of results

Without Ronaldo, Los Merengues' attack was anaemic and the results were instantly poor. The same has happened to Barcelona without Messi, who have suffered five defeats and three draws in their opening 13 games of the season in all competitions.
Lois Cules have won just two of their last seven matches, rather like
Lopetegui did with Real Madrid when he went five successive games without winning.

The goals have dried up

Messi and Ronaldo guaranteed their clubs an average of 50 goals per season and neither team has been able to compensate for losing that level of production.
Los Blancos scored 21 goals in 14 games under Lopetegui , averaging 1.5 goals per match, whilst Koeman's Barcelona scored 16 in 13 games, averaging 1.2 goals per game.

Yes, there were Zidane, Rivaldo, Ronaldo Delima, Figo, Raul, Ronaldinho and the likes but you will agree with me that Messi and Ronaldo rivalry took the popularity of El-Classico to another level.

This fixture can never be the same again like it was when José Mourinho was still gourging Villanova's eyes, Sergio Ramos accumulating red cards and Messi and Ronaldo lighting up the fixture with otherworldly goals.

If you're going to be updating once in a year, I'm fine with it, but stop raising people's hope unnecessarily. It's childish!
