Do you know an Iranian Journalist called Masih Alinejad? She exposed so much corruption in the Islamic ruling party in Iran. She exposed how they will come to mosque and condemn America as Satanic, but they are buying houses in America and sending their children to school in America while ordinary people in Iran are suffering. SaharaReporters on Tuesday exclusively obtained a video showing the minister and Olusegun Adeyemi, Special Assistant to the President (Media), Office of the Minister of Information and Culture, in a Delta Airline heading to the US. Nigeria's Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed has travelled to the US to meet with top executives of popular microblogging site, Twitter. SaharaReporters on Tuesday exclusively obtained a video showing the minister and Olusegun Adeyemi, Special Assistant to the President (Media), Office of the Minister of Information and Culture, in a Delta Airline heading to the US. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gTwspFgdhT4 The Muhammadu Buhari-led government on June 5, 2021 indefinitely banned Twitter, restricting it from operating in Nigeria after the social media platform deleted tweets posted by Buhari. Buhari's tweets, which many Nigerians found distasteful, had warned the Southeastern people of Nigeria against secession agenda, threatening to deal with them "in the language they understand". His comments referenced the Nigeria Civil War (1967-1970) in which an estimated 2 million South-Easterners died of starvation. However, the Nigerian government claimed the ban was ultimately based on "a litany of problems with the social media platform in Nigeria, where misinformation and fake news spread through it have had real world violent consequences". It also accused Twitter of threatening the corporate unity of Nigeria. In the video obtained by SaharaReporters, Mohammed is seen trying to disguise with a baseball cap. A top source who disclosed the destination and the mission of the government team to SaharaReporters, said, "You can see Lai Mohammed trying to disguise with a face cap, he flew on seat 8A in the business class section of Delta Airline from Lagos to New York. "He flew with his Special Assistant, Olusegun Adeyemi who took seat 8C in the business class." This comes after a statement by Mohammed last Wednesday that Nigeria would soon lift its ban on Twitter after resolving some of its differences with the social media platform, signalling the end of a policy widely condemned as an affront to freedom of expression. The ban was condemned by Amnesty International, Swedish Embassy and the British and Canadian missions in Nigeria. Domestic organisations including the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) have challenged the ban in court. Sadly, though many Nigerians have bypassed the ban by using Virtual Private Network (VPN), the already battered economy of the country loses a fortune every day to the ban. For instance, as at August 6, British firm, Top10VPN estimated that the ban had affected around 104.4 million internet users in the country, and cost the country around $366.9 million. The firm made the calculations using a tool developed by internet governance watchdog organisation, Netblocks, and Internet Society, a US advocacy nonprofit. http://saharareporters.com/2021/08/18/busted-buharis-minister-lai-mohammed-sneaks-out-nigeria-meet-top-twitter-executives-us Mynd44, Lalasticlala |

Afghanistan has ALWAYS been a 99% Muslim Country. Afghanistan unlike Nigeria is not an artificial creation of Britain. The Taliban is actually the people of Afghanistan themselves which is why it was so easy for them to take over. The Americans stupidly thought that you can teach those primitive savages about democracy, freedom of religion and equal rights and after 20 years and nearly 1 trillion dollars, they are realizing that the opposite is the case. So your wet dream about about Islamizing Southern Nigeria is just that: A Wet Dream. If they like let them make the Dullard himself the head of customs. We will still find a way to defend ourselves. Cholera patients in the Mai'adua Local Government Area of Katsina State lack hospitals where they get proper treatment, SaharaReporters has gathered. SaharaReporters learnt that some of the Cholera patients, including children, get treated under trees in a bushy area and on planks of wood with their drips hanging from the branch of the nearest tree. No fewer than 100 persons have died so far as a result of the cholera outbreak across the state. “These are Katsina residents condemned to trees for treatment. This shows the level of collapse of the health infrastructure in Katsina - the President’s home state. But he and his aides can afford to jet to United Kingdom while his people receive treatments under trees,” a source in the area lamented. Cholera is a bacterial disease usually spread in contaminated water. Its symptoms include diarrhoea and dehydration. Meanwhile, the state government had confirmed the cholera death toll in the state. The state’s Commissioner for Health, Yakubu Danja, recently said 25 out of the 34 Local Government Areas of the state are now affected by the outbreak. Danja, who spoke at a press conference, said Funtua, Charanci, Kankara, Rimi, Sabuwa, Jibia and Kafur are some of the areas with the highest number of cases. “Of the reported cases, 67 per cent are aged 15 years and above, while three cases were reported for under one. Of all the reported cases, 53 per cent are male. “Funtua LGA had the highest number of cases with 384, followed by Sabuwa with 232, Kafur 215, Charanchi 135, Kankara 71 and Jibia with 69 cases. “In terms of mortality, Funtua also leads with 18, followed by Charanchi which has 14, Jibia 11, Kankara five, while Rimi and Sabuwa are having four each. The cholera outbreak has in the past few months led to scores of deaths in many Nigerian states. Some of the states affected include Katsina, Jigawa, Enugu, Benue and Plateau. Nigeria recorded 816 deaths out of the 31,425 suspected cases of cholera in the country as of August 1, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control. http://saharareporters.com/2021/08/17/shame-nigerians-receive-cholera-treatments-bushy-area-under-trees-buharis-home-state |

I would have replied to this garbage mention earlier, but I realise that being stupid isn't a crime on the statute books of any country, so I decided to chill and do a few more worthwhile things before I respond. I was in Kishi in Oyo State earlier this year. Kishi is about 65 kilometres from Nigeria's boundary with Benin Republic (about an hour's drive), in fact, it is nearer to Benin Republic than Ibadan which is the capital of Oyo State. All thoughout my time there, car smugglers were using over 300 different smuggling routes to bring in exotic cars, bags of rice, bags of beans, alcohol etc from Benin Republic and Burkina Faso and customs could not do a damn thing to stop them. Smuggling arms is child's play. When it happens, you will be powerless to do anything to stop it. Many of the customs personnel who are serving on the Benin border are Yorubas. I'm close to quite a few of them and I know their views on the Igboho incident. Let me just say that if you are expecting them to betray their own people, you are in for a big disappointment. I'm just begging you, BEGGING YOU and your fellow headslammers to throw caution to the winds and just try and launch an invasion of Yorubaland. There wouldn't be enough land to dig graves for the burial of your corpses. And if you think the Middle Belt will come to your rescue, well, I can only say that you are displaying the lack of intelligence that has made you as poor and wretched as you are today. Continue dreaming. Gerrard59: |

Afghan president fled Kabul with cars full of cash & was forced to abandon some loot on airport runway, Russian embassy claims; The Western-backed former Afghan leader, Ashraf Ghani, departed his country with so much money that it couldn’t all fit on his helicopter, and he was forced to leave some cash at the airport, the Russian Embassy in Kabul has said. Speaking to RIA Novosti, its spokesman Nikita Ishchenko dubbed Ghani’s escape an “eloquent characterization” of the fall of the “regime.” “Four cars were stuffed with money. [They] tried to fit all the money on the helicopter, but not all of it fit. Some of the money was left lying on the tarmac,” he explained, without elaborating how he obtained the information. Ghani became president of Afghanistan in September 2014, marking the first time in the country’s history that power was democratically transferred. Since his election, Ghani has enjoyed a close relationship with the US, which has pumped almost a trillion dollars into the country. According to a 2019 study by Brown University in the US, Washington has spent around $978 billion in Afghanistan and Pakistan since 2001. The situation in Afghanistan has intensified in the past few weeks. On Sunday, Taliban militants entered the capital, Kabul, and declared that they had taken control of the entire country. The group is recognized in Russia as a terrorist organization. On the same day, Ghani fled the country, claiming that he had resigned and escaped to prevent any bloodshed in the capital. According to initial reports, he was flown to Tajikistan. On Monday, Taliban spokesman Mohammad Naeem declared that the war in Afghanistan was over and called for peace. The Taliban’s victory came after the US decided to withdraw its troops from the country. In April, US President Joe Biden declared that he had decided to end the operation in Afghanistan – the most protracted foreign military campaign in US history. All troops were scheduled to leave by September 11, almost 20 years after the war began. https://www.rt.com/russia/532163-afghanistan-ghani-fled-dough-rob/ |

Even if the US had stayed in Afghanistan for a hundred years, the Taliban would still come back to power because the people of Afghanistan are the actual Taliban. America has been there since 2002 and the Taliban could do nothing until the Americans left, so how does that make the Americans cowards? timesup234: |
