i have heard of people suffer from and even die from a heart attack... but all of them, (the operative word being all) are men! i have never heard of a woman die of heart attack. Now why do men's heart fail so easily? i thought women were the ones with fragile hearts, why do men die from heart attacks more?

Hmmm... Well the first day she said yes, I started passing through those stages one after the other, even though the relationship lasted for more than 3years I knew we'll break up, so when she finally broke up with me I didn't feel anything much.

I tried that line of "can we be friends", and i later found out that the calls does not worth it, let me spend the call credits on fresh girl so that one day it'll bear me fruits.

In creating the thread, I used my experience as a case study (and that of close friends); hence, let’s understand the situations in which a guy would go through these stages:
Fact: the guy truly loves the girl
Assumption: the girl cheated on him and dumped him.
Below are the stages:

1. Pain on a biblical scale: this is usually the most dreadful three months (or three weeks, depending on the thickness of his skin) of his life. The hurt guys feel in times like this is indescribable. As insensitive as guys are – or so the girls think, most guys cry like babies at this stage. For me, when tears would flow down my cheeks, I would grimace and touch my chest to check if its bleeding (there was no way a man could suffer such pangs of pain if he didn’t rupture an artery of crush an organ…). For some guys, the pain is so much they get hospitalized (I know of one guy). On to the next one, what happens when you severely scar and hurt a guy?

2. He plots vengeance: this could range from something as mild as placing curses on her (she will die single, she will die barren, she will never find happiness and peace, etc.) to something as harsh as scheming to kill her. I remember harboring the thought of “contracting bad boys” to put a bullet in between her eyes. But for most guys (including me) ,the thought of vengeance never materializes as it is cast to the wind in the end. No matter the circumstances, a guy will never hurt a girl he love(s/d)… heuristically speaking….

3. Rebound relationship/Hedonism: this rebound thing is quite easy for some guys and impossible for others. Here’s why – during relationships, some guys keep female friends and admirers close, so getting a girl after a break up isn’t so hard ( although it never works! The guy just ends up hurting himself even more or sharing his misery with the unsuspecting prey). But other dumb guys (like the former me)kick every potential sweetheart out of their lives because the love their girl and intend to marry them! (Isn’t that stupid?). so when she dumps his sorry assss, he will be like fish out of water for the very first time – so on his own, so confused, so lonely, just so bleeped up mehnn. Then he.ll try the next available option, hedonism , drinking, cohorting with hookers etc(as long as he has the money sha). Anything to get the thought of his ex out of his mind. The truth is, at this stage, most guys do a lot of things they will regret in time to come, some pick up stupid habits they would spend the rest of their lives struggling to discard. The guy submerges in more mess at this stage. This brings him to…

4. The Misogynist: after like 12 rebounds that failed, he wastes all the the money he has been saving all his life on crap, he starts blaming his ex for the mess he is in. women are mean, women are heartless, women are whoreeee-ribble… the blame mutates into hatred which spreads to every female creature roaming the earth (except in his family, atimes, even in his family). Unfortunately for some guys, this is where the journey ends. They spend the rest of their lives at this stage. They grow into men who despise and hate women… they usually get married and torture their wives all through her miserable days. But for those guys who find Gods grace, they decide to…

5. Forgive and Forget: shit happens, pain is inevitable, sorrow is optional. We live in a messed up world, where your account is more important than your personality. At this stage, he picks up the broken pieces of himself, lets go, learns from his mistakes and moves on with his life. This is the most difficult stage to enter and the longest to leave…

6. Lets be friends: after letting go, some guys make a bon fire of the memories of their ex’s and dance to the ashes… hence they don’t go through this stage, the time they spent with their ex’s become forgotten memory. But, others cant help but keep correspondence with the object of their pain. “I know we cant date, but lets still talk once in a while, if that’s ok with you”. Now there are a number of reasons a guy may go through this stage, one, the idjiot hasn’t learnt anything and still wants the girl back, two, the guy is now a misogynist and wants nothing more than to cause you pain as much as he can, three, he genuinely wants to be just friends. Etc… the final stage

7. The better man: now he knows that his family comes first, now he knows that his mother and sisters need override the needs of “one mans daughter”, now he knows that girls are either bad (after money) or good(after a man to make them a wife), nothing more, nothing less, now he knows that in the game of love, the highest spender wins, now he knows that he must face his career and be successful or kiss women bye, now he sets his priorities right, now he is… wait for it… wait for it… wait it… THE BETTER MAN
