Yes, catfish grow that big. It’s shocking yet true. Cameroonians speak similar pidgin English, have same English accent just like you and me. Remember SW Cameroon was once administered by the British from Nigeria. |

poiZon: But lets be factual, u cant compare the quality of those goods to what is obtainable here. The standard of goods in nigeria is appalling. Standard organisation of nigeria, nafdac and other agencies saddled with this responsibility has failed. Imagine peak milk now is nothing compare to what peak was.. We now have peak evaporated, full cream.. All these cos of failure by these agencies thinking more of what they can get and not why they were established. Also inflation too and cost of production has made quality and quantity of goods in nigeria to decline. Compare biscuits then in 2015 and what u have now, stark difference. When you talk about standards in Africa especially Sub-Saharan Africa, every region in Africa is packed with substandard goods. Not because people in this region like substandard goods, but because they are cheap and the majority of people in these regions do not have the financial capacity or the government is not doing their job adequately in regulating the quality of goods in circulation. Nigeria or Ghana is not different as regards to this aspect. Inflation is not unique to Nigeria. |

nedu666: When you want to compare Nigeria and Ghana. Consider the fact that one has been an oil exporter since independence and the other is not. If Nigeria was not an oil exporter who she be better than ghana, if ghana was an oil exporter would she be better than Nigeria, if both were oil exporters, which would look better Until then no comparison Yes we will never forget that one too has been an exporter of Gold and Cocoa since independence. Also that one now also export oil as well. So what's your defense?

Hashabiah: The purchasing power is the issue bro. Their purchasing power is even poorer than Nigeria. Minimum wage in Ghana is 24000 naira equivalent. Just like Naija the minimum wage is not effective across the board in every region. So just imagine that. What works for Ghana is that they have basic amenities like stable electricity and relative peace, which Nigeria lacks. Plus their schools don't go on strike like Naija |

Rumuekpe in Emohua has the oil quantity that many LGAs in Niger Delta doesn't have. Speak with facts ok. Stop feeding nairalanders with bull crap. You tried responding to ignorance. |
Politics › Re: How State Govts Cheat Oil-Producing Communities In Use Of 13% Derivation Fund by Kinematics: 8:56pm On Apr 23, 2021 |
Igbochief001: When I said this the other time they went for my head This is actually the main reason most big tribe in niger Delta don't want restructuring or division because they know they produce little or no oil compared with the minority in the states
Typical example is awka ibom n rivers
Annag and ibibios are two most dominate ethnicity ....but they produce little oil ...
People who produce this oil are the ibono ,oron and eket but they get relatively nothing compared to ibibios and annag imagine
Uyo ( ibibios ) to ikot ekpene ( annag ) is smooth as hell ...uyo (ibibios ) to abak ( (anang ) is smooth
Uyo to oron( oil rich town ) not so good Uyo to eket ( oil town ) not so good Eket to ibono ( two oil towns one hosting mobile Nigeria ) road uncompleted for 12 years
So ibibios n anang man don't want to hear restructuring or biafra because they know they would each have their province
Same thing happens in Rivers State ...ikwerri produce little or no oil but gets most development
Oyigbo produce oil but neglected Egbema produce oil but neglected Ogoni produce oil but neglected I can keep going on and on Reason why when u mention restructuring they are against it or only play lips service If there is any LGA thats not oil producing in Rivers or Bayelsa is not more than 2 or 3. |

Igbochief001: Ibibios oil is negligible compared to ikot abasi , oron and eket/ ibono ... As far as I know only Eastern Obolo, Ibeno and Mbo can boast of significat oil in their domain. The rest are just living on wealth emanating from this 3 and the Atlantic ocean. |
