How many adebayo ogunlesis are there, Google dangote to see Nigerian billionaires.

We can continue dragging this argument.

I know what I'm saying because it's from experience.

You’re very funny bro.
I just gave you one Nigerian that’s doing so well in the uk and have several airports and other investment In the uk even president trump announced he as his adviser. He’s not a monopolist like your dangote and don’t seek government favour to control the market

You’re so dumb grin cheesy
Are you saying there’re no billionaires/millionaires in the uk. Funny you.
You think uk is like Nigeria where few people control the market? My goodness undecided undecided
You know how much those clubs owner make each week?
How much player make yearly?
How much gamble companies each day?
Just a few example tho.

And little did you know that dangote isn’t even among the first 50 richest people in the world. And the next Nigerian can be found around 200s position in the list.

Prove what claims, you seem very immature.

My point was clear.
2 on a salary of 100k pounds , you are not guaranteed to become a millionaire.

So what you’re saying now is that there’re no legal immigrants billionaires in Uk? And someone can’t invest in other business from the £100k ?
Google (Adebayo Ogunlesi) and stop saying what you don’t know.

Facts bro. Pure facts.

Dude is a money miss road. It's always people who suffered great lack before making money that always announce their pockets everywhere whether or not they are asked.

This thread is supposed to be for people to come and share their experiences moving abroad, rather, the man-child came here to spew trash bragging about a lifestyle that none of us here can verify grin

Nairaland is a very funny place.

Lol grin grin grin grin you’re very funny.
I see you’re pained and your true color have shown. (Low life yahoo boy)

Carry on, how many hours have you worked this week? 300 hrs?

First of all; there’s 168 hours in a week not 300 hrs as you claim. assuming Someone work as a welder or plumber for 10 hours each day throughout the week that’ll be 70hrs at the rate of 25 dollars per hour.
70*25=$1750 before tax. Then tax deduction and overtime between 300-450$:: 1750-450=$1300per week!
4week 1300*4=$5200.
Monthly bills:..
1 bedroom apartment near downtown will cost $1000
Feeding will cost around 300-600$ (Monthly) if you wanna cook at home but will cost around 900$ For three square meal daily in 3 star restaurant monthly.
Transportation: if you don’t have a car, you can take bus or train pass around 100$ per month plus Uber 100$ but if you decide to buy a car, you can get loan or buy it as credit and spread your payment the way you like. You can be paying 300$ every month for the next 3-4 years to own a 2016 car gas 100$ monthly and car insurance 150$ monthly and after that you’ve overused it you then ship it to Nigeria and make some cool money grin grin grin.

Monthly expenses
Rent (included light water and gas) $1000+feeding $700 homemade food plus some outings + transportation (car, insurance, gas and maintenance 700) + clothing 300$ + road trip to Canada spend five days in an hotel, club, foods gas and sightseeing 500$= 3200$
Salary 5200-3200$= 2000$ As saving
2000*12=24k annually
M9ron you see how simple it’s to make money and live as a king and still have money to invest or buy shares.
You can also learn some IT stuff too or open YouTube and make legit money and invest...
Common welder or technical worker can live more better high standards life than majority of Nigeria graduates that’s working how many banker can live in the slum banana island with d bad road and flood? Or have enough to go on trip monthly?

(That country that is the capital of homelessness, where more than 70% of their people are just one paycheck away from living on the street. He's talking about saving $500 per month when confirmed statistics say almost 70% of Americans don't have enough money to deal with a $500- $1000 emergency need.)

I just proved that welder can make saving 2000$ Monthly and ball to the fullest.
And the same statistic say 80% of Nigeria can’t afford to use 1$ a day right? Even India transfer world poverty capital country give una! With all the crude oil and many business opportunities grin grin grin
And still yet Nigerian youths are shamefully scamming US ladies millions dollars each year.
You’re not educated or well informed.

He's talking about capital that I accumulated through intensive savings during my housemanship and National Service. Go f,,k yourself. You think everyone is lazy and stup1d like you. All they know is complaining of no money to start business but theres always money running into millions available to move abroad.
So you accumulated millions in your national service and houseman-ship. Thief. The 18,000 make govt de pay you abi? I talk am say u be yahoo boy.

Same country where tens of thousands are been killed daily like chickens due to gun violence. And instead of the government to bring in gun control laws, they're busy playing politics with the lives of their citizens. I visit the US for just less than a week and a shooting takes place at the same location I visited the previous day. Thank God for my life. Just one week in the US and I'm almost shot dead. Continue in your capital of homelessness and depression and crime.
Guy u never enter USA before shut up there.
All those cooked stories na e you de cited here because of ignorance. ( just the way Americans both the black are asking if we’ve building in Africa or we live on trees grin grin etc) na the same thing you de try to here.
Tens of thousands are been killed daily and people are still living there and still trying to get visa by all means to leave Nigeria? Lol gun violence? Bro not everywhere in the USA. The killing and shooting are mostly done in black neighborhoods and ghetto which I don’t wanna talking about before because it’s a great shame to see your own black brothers killing themselves in the name of gang (same in Nigeria cultism) get your fact right and stop fooling yourself here, some of those black don’t like to work all them do all day is to smoke pop pills and target someone that have money or anything valuable to rob due the process they might even shoot the person.
Homelessness grin grin grin you funny bro. Those homeless people you’ve been seeing on the roadside sleeping in movies or news are illegal immigrants that cross through Mexico to enter USA and addicted people! I nor wan talk too much on it but the funny is when snow starts falling you’ll not see any one on the street again that’s how much life is valuable in the USA. And still yet USA government are still giving aid lending money to Nigeria govt. giving Africa the chance to exceed through lottery visa with everything being paid fully (included housing)
wish you know how many people are billionaires in the US and how much they’re send to Africa including Nigeria just to help people I’m not sure you’re educated a lot.

But why’re you so pained? You’re worrisome about US but yet you’re not mentioning Nigeria problem (boko haram, fulani herdsmen, cultism, kidnapping, highway robber, thief, police killing Nigeria youth in southern region and the government isn’t saying sh1t, community disputes and their killing, people living on top of lagoon in lag and delta(almighty oil state)ijaw and some other tribe, and some sleep under bridges etc) and how the government are using people life to play politics and win elections!

It is your useless father that is a public fund looter and your whorish mother that is into yahoo. You think we don't know the so-called ballers in your abroad are into drugs and fraud.
I’m not gonna waste my time on you or insult your parents but with all your foolishness here shows you’re from a broken home and you’re getting used of insulting your parents daily. You’re the one that mentioned your parents are into looter which isn’t even true you’re just a lowlife Yahoo boy[/b]claiming to be rich. I never said I’m in the USA or being rich but I’m always more content with life and what comes with it that’s where true happiness is. Stay blessed and stop claiming what you’re not (houseman-ship ke) from medical school to owning a business.
The bad thing here’s that you can’t take critics! This’s how you run your business into billions.

Hello,

Please get your facts right. Nigerians pay their taxes "faithfully", but our taxes are not "executed" faithfully by our leaders. Rather than look for ways to plug the corruption menace and embezzling of public funds and taxes, the government wants to increase taxes we pay. For how long will that continue? In a country where majority of the people live on 1dollar a day, lawmakers go home with over 200m a year.

The country you are in now works because the taxes people pay are well utilized. I dont mind using 70% of my salary to pay for taxes as long as the good life will be provided for me.

Get your facts right bro.

Living in a sene country is the best bro. Not Nigeria where you pay tax and one slowpoke will pocket the money and keep it for his/her to spend foolishly or send their children to school aboard.
Traveling and settling permanently in developed country sometime it’s the price we pays for our future kids. Your kid might be the next basketball player just as Giannis Sina Ougko Antetokounmpo or great boxer like Joshua, football players, hockey etc. who knows

Dude it's great that Nigeria favoured YOU but unfortunately and realistically, your story doesn't apply to the vast majority of Nigerians living in Nigeria. There is no true middle class in Nigeria you are either rich or 'just getting by'.

People might read your story and feel encouraged in the moment but once they put the phone down, they are slapped in the face by the harsh reality of this HELL we call Nigeria - just one encounter with Sars is enough to make one flee this misery of a country, not to talk of the numerous bottlenecks that makes this dumpsite of a country inhabitable for sane human beings.

Trust me, I used to be a strong advocate for Nigeria myself but I got my wake up call. This country is done for!

It’s very obvious that he’s from one of those aristocracy clan (public fund looter) or into yahoo.... it’s crazy how you can be a motivational writer and be claiming success without letting people know how you get your initial capital or source you use to fund your business. SMH

NB anyone suffering in USA or other developed countries went there illegally or over stayed their welcome. Even those people have still have 3 square meals and best social amenities. 24/7 light included or the person is just too lazy to work and waiting for white collar job with Nigeria cef. People that work in warehouses have save at least $500 every month after all expenses.

Majority of homeless people in developed countries are illegal immigrants or drug addicted folks. While some white lazy will just decide to be homeless because the government deducted from their money allowance ( dis mostly happened in Europe)
Even dead Italy still house illegal Africa immigrants that use the sea and pay them monthly. provide foods, clothing, phones and other things for those immigrants.

He’s here comparing sane countries to Nigeria that more than 10m people live on top of water in Lagos, millions living in zinc house and under bridge in lag.

SMH talking about student loans grin angry grin
When majority of Nigeria (parents) can’t pay 30k tuition fee. Majority of the young ladies are into prostitution or sleeping around just to make end mean while the guys are into yahoo or start stealing. If you’re ready to go back to school the government in a developed countries the government will help you and you’re going pay back in interest ( I don’t see taking a student loans of $150k as enslaving oneself) when you start working you’ll make more than that in your first two years and payoff the loans in the next ten years because the government won’t take large part of your salary and leave you to work your ass out. It’s just too easy to make it in a sene countries.

He also talk about mortgages grin grin
It’s advisable not to buy house but to start a business along your main job and when you’ve made enough money you can later buy your house in full payment and it’s easy to start and run a business here. You’ll hardly have someone that’ll try to scam you or employees that will want to steal money.
The advantage of mortgage is that it allows you to own a nice house and stop paying rent and it’s the quickest way to own a home and you can spread your payments the way it you like.

He forgot to mention that majority of civil servants in Nigeria can’t build a house and it might take those government workers 10-20years to finish their house and some will just pack to the house like that without treated water, light, good road, majority of those people even build their house inside bush.

Come here de talk thrash

He even mentioned changi airport that was build with $1.3b and his bad leaders de loot billions of dollars each year without any social amenities or infrastructure.

Please stay there and be making a Mickey out of yourself thinking you're talking to some naive lost naija Diaspora.

I hate to brag but ive bagged over 35 mill within d past two years since I started paying attention to the happenings in naija.

To succeed u need three critical things

PR

Access to capital

Connections

For me , my strategy is number two.

There are Nigerians killing it right now selling things as simple as hair. You just need that lousy Nigerian pr style around Ur biz and know how to source for correct products at the right price aimed at a specific target market.

Bro stop saying shit that isn’t fact and face reality. I don’t wanna believe that you’re into hairs or cream products and you’ve made more than 30 millions, grin grin grin because dat kinda business are mostly for girls that have good looking goody to advertise their main business and the other product cheesy cheesy and the latter pay the bills and buy the house and cars. (Majority of those gal are into runs not be fooled) why do you think your so called Bob risky is always talking about her man and other shit. Hope they’re not bleeping your ass with Love Machine or you bleeping old ladies?
1: Please I would like to know what kinda biz you’re into.
2: before you made that more profit over 30m you go de live around lekki/Vi axis. If na hair or cream business u de do. (Spending over 15m per year for house rent, store rent and other bills and you go de use Uber too) I go like know the state make you de and the city too.
3: stop using someone else life to brag here. Those things you see in instagram or Nollywood ain’t real. Majority of celebrities or those your mentors are living fake life. Let use reginal daniel as case study here, if she’s really earning good money she won’t have get married to that senator at 17 years old if that shit happen for developed countries that senator will be sent to jail for having sexual with an underage girl not to even talk about marrying her.
4: when you wrote that people are killing it! Are you only referring to the aristocracy clan or you included those with humble backgrounds?
NB I remember way back when I was still young as you, still have high hope in Nigeria and full with business ideas on how to make billion and have different companies grin grin but it’s just a mere possibility imagination with time you’ll learn hard. The only way those dreams can come to pass is if you’re from a very rich home or you travel out and make some money and come back to invest in Nigeria. I’m not saying there’re no opportunities here. There’re opportunities but the chance of making it from grass to grace is rare.

(To succeed u need three critical things
1PR 2Access to capital 3Connections)

Bro you’re really funny. So what about those that don’t have any of three?

1: I believe that one number point is (Power) for you to succeed you must either be powerful physically or spiritually right? (Physical power here are those thugs (agbero) that’ll rigged elections and the government will settle them with millions or billions. Then the spiritual power are those people that’ll use charms to sell their goods or services or use people for ritual?

2: Access To capital: Do you know how difficult it’s to get loans and the interest rate? How many years will it take to accumulate a initial capital for business? Or how many year it take to grow a small scale business that’ll give you 20m as profit?

3: yes connections!! Everything you do in Nigeria you must need some sort of connection first. To gain admission into university, to get a loans, to get govt job! everything even to join the Army as recruitment you need a general that will give you letter to give to the recruiting officer and the connections isn’t free you must pay 50k-100k and if you’re related to the top officers or if you can pay your ways around, you’ll not even go for training SMH.

To the end I’ll like to know where did you get your source of capital and the business you do.

1.

I was talking about Europe in relation to doctor's salary. See attached.

2. Competition is stiff in Europe in terms of entrepreneurship, however in Nigeria there's an investment vacuum. If you target bear necessities to sell and ensure you can make available those products at a cheaper rate , u don hammer be that.

Do u realize how much money women are making by selling ordinary bleaching creams.. Bob risky is an example.

We have a big market that alone leaves room for potential wealth opportunities.

3

China and India are churning out billionaires like crazy, eg from the stupidity of the black man. Look around you in naija.. your taste for foreign products..

4

If your plan is to become a billionaire by fraud , chances are you'll be caught.. Nigeria is a better place for that if that's your end goal , just steal enough to instill fear.

Stop deceiving yourself bro. We all know there’re opportunities to make millions in Nigeria due to it underdeveloped state but it’s never easy if you wanna start from scratch without putting your hand in shit and beside Nigerian prefer foreign used things more than new Nigerian made goods.
1: Do you know how capital extensive it’s to start a business that’ll give you 20 millions in the next three years as? Because you won’t be making profit that first and second years when start your business!! The first two years you’ll struggling to get your capital back and reinventing some parts of it again into the business. And there’s a highest chance that you’ll lose some money or sell goods on credit and creditors will won’t to pay you back to continue your business?
2: do know one bad government policy can destroy your business? Do you know how many people stop their business because of our president policies?
3: Do you know how Frustrating it’s to transport your finish goods to customers because of bad road, highways robbers, bribing of govt officials, constant light that you’ll have to depend on gen and most time during scarcity you won’t see gasoline to buy?
4: do you know how frustrating it’s when you labored your ass and pay tax (businesses pays 30 percent of their profits as tax) and one looter will just kidnap the money and keep it for his/her kids and the child will use your money to ball grin. And without tax statement you aren’t traveling out or you’re thinking of not paying tax (tax evasion) you don’t want know the punishment beside it.
5: your tax money don go one pocket, money make them supposed use do road for easier movement of your business or any other social amenities ( developed countries pays citizens, mostly children with tax money) there’ what we call tax return too
6: police problems, police will harass you, assault you, thief from you, ask you for bribes and may even kill you there because of greed because of bribe. Yesterday you saw that business woman those police assault, break her nails dragged up and down, beating, stole her sneakers and put hand in her pant just because she’s coming from work late.
7: when you reach home you’ll be fear of kidnapper, thief and other social vice. No light to sleep you on gen and your neighbors also on gen, noise. Before you reach 50 years you don die.
8: you don’t wanna know how fast business die in Nigeria. Small scale business usually take less years to die but some cases are exceptional but it can’t grow more than it’s’ just repeating same circles. The big scale take 10-15 years to die due to bad and unfavorable policies. Go ask those biscuits companies or go ask Mr BIGGI AND ask kfc how it take long it don de business
9: money to start the intent business. Who want give you loan grin grin where you wanna see 1 million to take start d business..
10: it take time to gather customers... ask coal or read about rich businessmen..

I’m still wondering which investment vacuum with no favorable policies or business environment

grin grin grin guy you’re very funny, Bob risky is your mentor.. you don’t wanna know how real his life is outside instagram and how fake her life is in instagram... Let me not say much. So you wanna use He/She to compare Kylie Jenner? She’s just 21years and she’s already a billionaire in USA in dollars$$$..

About the China and India most of those people you see in Nigeria are doing house maids. In USA Dubai and other developing countries like Malaysia mostly Indian are doing tax driver, gateman, truck driver and other foolish job but once they enter Nigeria your government go give dem one big contract just to thief or use the Indian name open business and the India China man go de head am. You don’t wanna know how police values those folks and hate their own. Those police go beat or even kill you because of India man.

God bless Nigeria peace

STFU! This is exactly what I've been saying. Nigerians are the major problems of Nigeria NOT Politicians. Imagine this dude's fvcked up mentality. angry

Just look at what this dude is complaining about bills, bills, bills and paying higher than Nigeria, blah, blah. What do you expect? Why do you guys love free stuff? If the citizens or inhabitants don't pay their fair share, how would their economy work? Your own Politicians are busy siphoning public funds meant for these social amenities while you fools keep praising and worshiping them instead of criticizing and opposing them.

You wonder why some pple's mentality or mind state can never change regardless of their environment.

You’re right bro, Nigerian love complaining a lot. When I was living in lag. We paid 450k as service charge yearly without good amenities even the pool was closed because of it bad state then and each month we pay 70k as light bill not even constant light, the environment isn’t clean just like suburbs in developed countries, even the landlord pays property tax too. I just don’t know why all the people are complaining about bills maybe they’re used of living in village. Some places in Lagos is more expensive than developed countries...

They’re not even talking about free treatment from standard hospitals, treated water, government benefits and other support from the government.

Europe is a shit hole, it's designed to keep you alive and happy to a certain extent but not to be rich ...

On a doctor's salary of 100k pounds per annum, your disposable income is slightly over one thousand pounds per week after tax , and you have to pay your bills from that.
In Nigeria u can become rich if u use ur brain. Eg sell any product at a profit margin of 5760 to 60000 people , u don become millionaire be that.

U have to ask yourself why the Chinese r coming to Nigeria/Africa.

I regret coming to Europe, thankfully Ive re strategized for Nigeria, and I can tell you it's been positive despite all the screams about Nigeria being a horrible country.

It’s not Toyota Camry. It’s Toyota Avalon (year 2012-14) around $10k-$16

I heeded this advice and now I’m the Vice President of the honor society.

I saved up some money and bought a car as well.

Currently I’m working 4 jobs simultaneously, I quit my ups job and I’m working at Amazon now along with two nursing homes and a staffing agency. I’m also going to school, taking Microbiology and Anatomy & Physiology 2 - the last of my prerequisites for the nursing program

Picture of my car below.

I go try update and break down this post sha cos a lot has happened to me. One love

Congrats bro. More blessings

But Inmessenger isn't even 20% of Nigerian women? So how can someone get 95% from the stats.. It's wrong and Guest007 has a point.

A lot of ladies don't even know the site yet so it shouldn't even be used singularly as a means for collecting such data

I think what the OP is trying to say is that, Nigerian ladies using that App! Are most likely to be into prostitute and he’s right... it’s highly clear that Nigerian ladies have lost their value; due to several reasons and majority of them are into prostitution or dating more than one..

It can be used as a collecting data through deductive method ( base on assumptions or observations)
