Yes you are right.. but some prayers still need contact to effective.
The bible is filled up with events where Jesus presence/physical contact was needed for miracles to occur typical example mark 8:22 and some that did not require his presence.
Some other miracle required the person to touch the cloth of Jesus to get healing typical example Matt 9:22 the woman with discharge of blood.
Faith is what matters...at the end whether he is at Aso rock or not, if there is no faith then he can't be healed. All of the miracles performed required a level of faith
