iamjayboss:
Yemi Alade who had an amazing 2015 of hit singles, awards, energetic stages performances and an album has started 2016 on a good note too as the Johnny crooner is anticipating for the release of her album, Mama Africa.

This is how she looks like today, she is styled by Bland 2 Glam, she's always looking good.

One thing I love about Yemi Alade is how she carry's our rich Nigeria culture, she's such a damsel.

Making someone do a frog jump there is complete abuse of power and dehumanising. Why don't they arrest them and make them attend classes on Road Safety: Pros and Cons, than frog jump. From the first picture, see one of the guys' stance (the one in the middle) too relaxed and like he is enjoying it.
If you call yourself an 'officer of the law' or 'law-enforcer' irrespective of governmental rank, you must be smart, agile, always alert and ready for action in case things turn a new dimension.
That guy no ready for anything. One slap go reset am to default setting.

From second picture, why such force and if necessary, THEY are dragging the culprit ACROSS THE ROAD and not into their cars or van. Did I mention & stress the word ACROSS THE ROAD.
Finally, how did they get to the two middle roads of the 8-lane highway. Are they telling us that they dropped off some officers on one side and WENT TO MAKE A U-TURN or USE a roundabout and dropped off the other officers on the other side on their way back? Think about it very well.

That's all.

See the horrible way officials treated road users who failed to use pedestrian bridges.Officials were pictured arresting people in different areas in Lagos who failed to use pedestrian bridges when crossing highways and major roads Lagos.

Is this acceptable or abuse of power?

Car Talk / Re: Trailer Causes Ghastly Accident In Abuja Thursday Morning [PHOTOS] by KingEdwardI(m): 3:34pm On Nov 26, 2015
@Op...based on your story, my deduction is that the trailer did not cause anything, it is the driver who was driving too fast. He was approaching a bend and instead of crashing into the trailer, he chose to veer off the bridge.
Trailer no cause anything o
I stand to be corrected

Let's not be quick to bash these trailers and their drivers. The op's statement and thread title are contradictory.
@Op & mods, please change the thread title. It's misleading.

Thank you

The one thing I can't understand about Nigeria is allowing such, by the looks of it, in a residential area. The road is too narrow and pesdestrians' lives are at greater risk.
Imagine it had been a serious accident, properties, houses could have been destroyed by a single wrong turn by the trailer driver, even children playing within the confines of their coumpounds could have been seriously hurt.
Our roads need a major rethink and not sure I mentioned earlier, the roads are too narrow.

Education / Our Ongoing Experience With Bed Bug In Unilag by KingEdwardI(m): 9:45am On Oct 19, 2015
The recent outcry by students with respect to the onslaught their human bodies experience by these blood sucking creatures is at its highest though brushed aside as students prepare for their second semester exams. Although, it is a personal experience the past 3 or 4 days that prompted this post, I believe I convey the message every student wants passed across to the University Authority and Management. The situation at hand is very detrimental to the performance of students alike and what is on the minds of most students is writing their exams and going home. How can I leave my hostel in the morning to the library to revise and get back in the evening with the hope of getting some much needed rest/sleep only to have to keep a watchful eyes so as to avoid being the 3- course meal or feasted upon by them.
Last night was the bloodiest night this semester. It was a battle between humans and bed bugs, higher animals versus lower animals etc. We took it in turns to battle these blood hungry little things over the night. Other guys rested (more like had a short nap) while one person kept watch even though most of us have a paper by 9am and others by 12pm.
Any other person(s), do share your experience so this issue will get to the management so that something can be done as soon as possible.

@Mods..Please, do the needed. Thanks.

mind u,that's all what they want people to see, there are still some hidden features people don't know about like how strong is the bullet proof and so on...

What is bullet compared to a nuclear blast? Personally, for it to withstand a nuclear blast, it would be well-suited to withstand bullets.
My question on the withstanding nuclear blast arises from the plane's withstanding strength in a scenario whereby if the plane were to be locate at the blast's epicentre, like right in the middle/thick of it........or if it is within a 'certain' metre/mile radius.
Though clarification would be needed, I don't think the SS would want to/take the risk of divulging such information.....'Matter/Info of National Security'

GMB till 2023

At all clamouring for CHANGE!
Change is when you show these DESPERATE men that our votes COUNT, is OUR power AND CANNOT be bought by NOT voting either of them (GEJ & R.GMB) with every citizen collectively voting for someone else. Then, will they know & realise that we are serious about our country's image & welfare. Same people, same party, same deception & see the rate of defections between both parties AND you WANT change. As long as it's still a WANT & not NEED, they will continually fool Nigerians.
How much was spent on election campaigns? PDP spends around $13M & APC $11M. Where is the money coming from? When voted in, we all know they will work to recuperate that first. True or False?
If that amount spent on campaigns can be spent on just providing Federal Primary Schools in just one state & gradually work on from there (I'm not talking of the Educational Sector as a whole here), that would go A LONG WAY & stop the petty trader saying a certain politician paid her ward's tuition fees (even if he volunteers to pay till the ward's graduation from University).
OR
That amount, if spent on improving just ONE Federal University to international standard, wouldn't that be better.
Sometimes the mentality gives me cause for concern.
Pardon my comparison or whichever, in the UK, David Cameron wouldn't be Prime Minister without the help of the Lib-Dems. They work together & it doesn't mean the Labour Party are nowhere to be seen, the three MAJOR parties (Labour, Conservative & Lib-Dems), and if to include the BNP, working hand-in-hand and occupy seats in the Parliament.
I have always said & if you choose to believe as well, Nigeria has ONE MAJOR PARTY (with multiple fronts) & a handful of smaller parties.

It isn't a sin if NOBODY, you read correctly, NOBODY, votes PDP or APC in the coming election. We can show them with & through our voting that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH & we collectively move towards changing & not they changing because they won't.

Please, VOTE WISELY!

I'm shocked that UK made the list, and more shocked that Nigeria didn't make the list.

Uk employs a compulsory stand like some of the other countries (state is free & private is paid) that every child of 'school-able age' should be in school(or the parents get's visited by the Social Services/Welfare) until the age of 16 or until after GCSEs where the person decides to continue to college et al or just get a job or sumat or a vocation...

To ascertain which firm should be given the job, top
officials of INEC are set to depart Nigeria this
week for the United States of America, Germany,
Italy and Ukraine in the first leg of the move to
inspect elite printing companies, which can handle the
job, classified as ‘security documents’ by the
commission.

Couldn't stop laughing at this. Even the average or least graded printing company is likely to be of the same (average to least) standard as ours which gives no excuse. It can be done locally & expenses get reduced.
Well, money needed for campaigning is almost complete.

*SMH* Lord, have mercy.
