Success in life is like a house built by the combination of different number of blocks.

As the saying goes,

True success in life is not measured by how much money you make, but by how much of a difference you make
So if you think you just need a high paying job or business to succeed? No, I do not think so. Many factors must come into play for any man to succeed. The car you drive, the job you have, the money you have isn’t success. Rather they are the benefits or results of success.

Success is being able to achieve the entire things you’ve always wanted to achieve and make meaning full impact to your environment. This is what i see as success in life.

Success is achieved by building the right traits inside of you which will determine what you can achieve outside. What matters is the content and not the container.

Nigerian Culture is well known for their tantalizing dishes and delicacies. If you are looking for some tantalizing Nigerian Dishes for dinner or lunch, here is a quick list of 11 of the most delicious Nigerian Dishes for dinner.

The uniqueness of the food culture of Nigeria is basically connected to its cultural diversity. The different ethnic groups have their different unique meals this makes Nigeria an absolutely interesting place to visit.

You do not need to be from a particular ethnic group to know how to make a particular meal. All you really need is to get the recipe and you are absolutely good to go. Click here to see Easy Nigerian Recipe.

So, let us go through the List of 11 Most Delicious and Tantalizing Nigerian Dishes for Dinner. Let me tease your taste buds.

NIGERIAN DISHES FOR DINNER

1. BEANS AND PLANTAIN:

This is number one on the list for a very obvious reason. Its my official favorite. Beans and plantain is a very famous meal in Nigeria and is usually enjoyed by mostly men.

Long but easy to cook, beans simply requires ingredients like tomatoes, fresh pepper, maggi, etc. The plantain can be eaten with the beans either fried or boiled along side your beans. Note that beans is a healthy and rich source of protein. Beans can also be eaten with pap or bread.

2. YAM PORRIDGE:

The Nigerian Porridge is very easy to cook. Apart from yam, many other things can be added to it like potatoes, cocoa yam and plantain. Yam porridge is a healthy source of carbohydrates.

To cook a decent pot of yam porridge, all you need is some yam, onions, pepper, dried fish, vegetables, etc.

RECOMMENDED: Scientifically Proven Ways to Remember Better

3. RICE AND STEW

The most famous food in Nigerian history. Rice and stew is the major bachelor’s food. It is easy and cheap to cook. Also, it is a great source of carbohydrates.

Adding vegetables like carrot, cucumber, green peas, etc to make your meal look more delicious. This is another of the delicious Nigerian Dishes for Dinner.

4. BANGA SOUP AND STARCH:

This is the official meal for the Urhobo Delta people. Banga Soup is made mainly with the use of Palm Nuts. It can be eaten with basically any swallow like Eba, Semovita or Wheat, but the official swallow that goes with this soup is Starch.

To cook this meal, you need someone with a very good recipe for preparing banga soup.

5. SPAGHETTI AND BEEF STEW:
spagetthi and beef stew as Nigerian dishes for dinner

Spaghetti is simply delicious! Very awesome meal for both Nigerians and Non-Nigerians too. Spaghetti can be served simply boiled or as jollof. Either way, you get your satisfaction.

All you need is a Spaghetti pasta, onions, pepper, dried fish, some beef, seasoning cubes, etc. The taste of spaghetti is usually dependent on the beef stew.

6. YAM AND SAUCE:
yam and sauce as Nigerian dishes for dinner

In addition, another of the Nigerian Dishes for Dinner is boiled yam and egg sauce. Also, tomatoes or other vegetable sauces.

Fast and easy to prepare. Best served when hot.

7. EBA AND EGUSI SOUP

My favourite soup is actually egusi soup. Egusi is usually eaten with Eba and other swallows like Semovita, wheat, etc. Egusi is very rich in protein and vitamins.

For best results, prepare with pumpkin leaves and dried fish.’

8. PARTY JOLLOF:
jollof rice Nigerian dishes for dinner

There is still a great war between Naija Jollof and many others. In terms of which is better. For me, Naija jollof is simply outstanding. It is the official food for most Nigerian parties. That is why is is called party jollof.

Basic ingredients for Naija Jollof are

Rice
Tomato sauce
Beef or chicken
Seasoning cubes
Vegetable oil
vegetables, etc.

9.CHICKEN OR FISH BARBECUE AND SALAD
chicken as Nigerian dishes for dinner

If you need more or less a light meal for dinner, barbecue and salad is an option for you. Delicious barbecue is usually sold by street vendors in Nigeria at very affordable prices. Also, if you have the necessary equipment, you can do this in your own house.

In addition, barbecue is very delicious and keeps you in a finger licking mood. I love chicken barbecue above any other.

10. CHIPS AND SAUCE
Potatoes, yam and plantain are the best bet for this meal. It is best eaten with some tomatoe sauce and a chilled drink. This is the regularly sold chicken and chips at eateries.

11. PEPPERSOUP
peppersoup as Nigerian dishes for dinner

Lastly, we have PEPPERSOUP. The beauty of the Nigerian peppersoup is that it can be prepared in so many ways.

There is Yam peppersoup, goat meat peppersoup, catfish peppersouop, etc. Peppersoup is a very delicious and tasty nigerian meal but is rarely cooked in Nigerian homes, except on special occasions.

https://myinfoconnect.com/jamb-caps-admission-status/

https://myinfoconnect.com/jamb-caps-admission-status/

Officially, Jamb CAPS stand for Jamb Central Admission Processing System. Jamb caps is an admission checking process, inducted into the Jamb examination exercise to provide necessary information to candidates.

in addition, Jamb Caps was introduced in 2017 and will be used in 2019 and 2020 Jamb examination exercises.

See 7 Reasons Why People Fail JAMB | No 2 Will Amaze You
How Does JAMB CAPS Work?
Jamb follows a flow chart just before giving every candidate admission. These are the steps below:

STEP 1: SUBMISSION OF RESULTS OF JAMB CANDIDATES:
The first thing Jamb does is to send the names of each Jamb candidate to their respective universities. Their various information and results are delivered by Jamb to their respective institutions.

STEP 2: ACCESSING CUT OFF MARKS
Next, Jamb expects all institutions in the country to use the list provided to them to set their cut off marks for admission. These cut off marks are then sent back to Jamb for checks and balances.

STEP 3: JAMB CAPS AND INSTITUTION MEETING
After these cut off marks have been set, Jamb Caps Board meets with the necessary heads in tertiary institutions like the Vice Chancellors and Registrars. This meeting is done so as to make final agreements and verification on the already submitted cutoff marks.

https://myinfoconnect.com/jamb-caps-admission-status/

STEP 4: CONFIRMATION OF ADMISSION CRITERIA
The next thing done is for Jamb Caps to confirm the admission criteria for all the various institutions. In terms of post utme screening and any other screening exercise. Also, the Jamb Caps capacity will be accessed.

STEP 5: DELIVERING STUDENTS RECORD

EducationReasons Why You Should And Shouldn’t Have A Relationship On Campus by Kingerons(op): 4:22am On Mar 27, 2019
https://myinfoconnect.com/reasons-why-you-should-and-shouldnt-have-a-relationship-on-campus/

Relationships! A relationship is the way in which two people are connected or the state of being connected. In this connection, we are referring to “Boyfriendship” and “Girlfriendship”. I want to show you some Reasons why should and shouldn’t have a relationship on campus.

Intimate relationships are a very significant characteristic among today’s youths. 7 out of 10 youths you meet are in a relationship and 3 out of these 7 youths are actually dating more than one two partners. They are called the PLAYERS.

As the university is majorly filled with a lot of youths, there are a whole lot of intimate relationships going on. To everything, there is the good and the bad side of it. That is why we will look at the Reasons Why You Should and Shouldn’t Have a Relationship on Campus. Believe me, this is an interesting topic we are going to look at.

I would love to see your comments in the comment section below. Let me know what you think and see your contributions. So, let us first look at

WHY YOU SHOULDN’T HAVE A RELATIONSHIP ON CAMPUS

· EMOTIONAL STRESS:
Have you ever experienced a broken or failed relationship? Do you remember the trauma and stress it put you through? One of the major reasons you shouldn’t have a relationship on campus is because of the emotional stress it puts you through. Especially when you have a fight with your partner or you break up.

Emotional stress can actually make you even fall sick at times. I had a friend whose heart got broken by his girlfriend for 2years. He couldn’t eat for two days and almost collapsed. Funny right? But very true. The amazing part is that there is no drug that can heal emotional stress. You will just keep on being sad and sometimes even cry. This keeps your mind away from more important things you should be thinking about on campus.

· FINANCIAL STRESS:
This may not necessarily apply to everyone, but some relationships put you on financial stress. Especially when you have a partner who has ‘longer throat’. “Honey buy me this, honey buy me that”.

Most times, you tend to spend even money you do not have just to please your partner. So as a result of this, you become financially stressed and unable to handle other pressing campus responsibilities you have. What do you think?

ALSO READ: 5 Life Changing Opportunities you should NEVER Miss in the University

· INSECURITY:
Another reason why you shouldn’t have a relationship on campus is the insecurities it brings along with it, especially when there is no trust. When you’re away from your partner, you are constantly thinking about what they doing, hoping they are not cheating with you or hoping they are not having fun with a different person.

These thoughts flood your mind and get you worried, when you’re supposed to have other important things on your mind concerning school. What do you think? Share your thoughts in the comment section.

· BIG-TIME DISTRACTION:
The distraction caused by campus relationships can be very detrimental to you. Why this is so is because sometimes your partner might not be as dedicated to his/her studies as you are. So, they are likely going to influence you and distract you from your academic work.

The only way to avoid this is if you can be a better influence to them. No relationship should ever take your focus from being a successful student on campus. This is why you need to set your priorities right.

· UNWANTED PREGNANCY
Campus relationships are one of the major causes of unwanted pregnancies today. Intimate relationships sometimes get too intimate and can lead to devastating consequences. I met a girl last year who got impregnated by her boyfriend and the crazy boy left her and denied being the father of the child. In the end, she wasn’t able to keep up with school and had to consequently drop out. Very sad.

It is better to abstain than have a story of I wish I Knew.

With the high level of cultism in universities, staying on campus is usually a fair and better option due to the fact that the activities of cultists are gravely reduced on campus due to campus security.

7 Things you MUST Consider When Choosing A University In Nigeria

For a Jambite, one of the biggest questions before them is Which University do I choose? So that is why we will look at those things you must consider when choosing a university in Nigeria

Believe it or not, but the university you attend can be a blessing or a curse to you, depending on the decision you make. Many people have made terrible mistakes by choosing the wrong university because of name, past glory or choice of friends.

7 Mistakes University Students Make In Their First Year

8 Funny Student Experiences in Nigerian Universities

So here is a quick look at some things you must consider when choosing a university in Nigeria.

THINGS YOU MUST CONSIDER WHEN CHOOSING A UNIVERSITY IN NIGERIA

1. University’s Accreditation

Attending a university that is not accredited by the Nigerian Universities Commission can be very detrimental along the line. Mostly when you graduate and you’re searching for a job. Do your own research and make a choice from schools that have been accredited by the NUC.

2. The University’s Strike History

Don’t be in a rush to pick just any school. Some Universities are well known for constant striking. They are SUPER STRIKERS. Go for universities that hardly go on strike so as not to extend your stay in school unnecessarily. Imagine a medicine student spending 10 years in school due to strike or an engineering student spending 7 years in school.

3. Facilities and Equipment

If you go to a school without adequate learning facilities, you will end up getting tired of the whole school system fast. Learning is easier when the proper facilities are available, like libraries, laboratories, workshops, etc. Do your research and consider this also.

4. Location and Environment

Your school environment affects your learning and comfort. Is your school area accessible? Is it located in a rural area? Or terrorized by a lot of thieves and cultists? All these are things you must consider when choosing a university in Nigeria. Choose a school in which accommodation and basic students’ needs wouldn’t be a problem to get.

5. Your Choice Course

This is one of the most important things you must consider when choosing a University in Nigeria. Why is this so? There are some universities that are very good in some courses because they have the necessary facilities and expertise. So you must consider your course just before picking a university. You need to do some research. For example, Ambrose Ali University in Ekpoma, Edo state, is known for their prowess in the Faculty of Law.

Education4 Important Tips On Getting A Job Abroad In 2019 by Kingerons(op): 7:24pm On Mar 13, 2019
Its 2019 and you’re still wondering if people still get good jobs abroad. My dear, wake up! They do. Basically, getting a very good job abroad in a n advanced country can be a significant breakthrough for you, based on finances and professionalism. It can be a boost for you in these areas. It is always a fact in life that information is key to success and in getting a job abroad, you need proper information and sometimes connection.

Believe it or not, there are job opportunities available for foreigners in countries in Europe, North America and parts of Africa also.

In just 2019, I have a friend, a dentist who bagged an amazing job recently in the United States of America, and also another one, a sociologist who got an amazing Job in Finland. Many people complain about not getting any feedback from companies or organizations abroad when they seek employment. The question is; are you really doing it the right way?

So, if you still have the desire to get a job abroad, here are

4 TIPS ON GETTING A JOB ABROAD IN 2019

1. EVERY COUNTRY HAS A CV PATTERN. FOLLOW IT!

Make a research on the CV pattern of the country or region you’re applying to and work with that. Not all countries write their CV’s the same way. Europe for example has a different way of writing a CV. Also state why you should be hired and why you want to leave your country and work in theirs.

Download an European CV format below

European CV formatDownload

2. FOCUS ON REGIONS WITH LOW POPULATION AND LOW SKILLED LABOUR
Be smart! You should know that countries with very high population will have lesser openings for foreigners. Many Nigerians often apply for jobs in countries like USA, UK, China and they end up getting rejected. Go for countries with low working populations like Canada, New Zealand, Denmark, Finland Czech Republic, etc.

3. APPLY ONLINE AND OFFLINE
Online application is good, buy offline will also be better.

Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) is an essential criterion in students training program in tertiary institutions. This experience usually involves three to six or twelve months as the case may be of intensive training in an industry of the student’s choice. In my institution for example, it is a 6 month training program which must be defended and a comprehensive report must be written on knowledge gained and its practical relevance. My Info Connect has you covered we are ready to assist you on how to write an Industrial Training report .

So be rest assured of a grade A!

You must consider these things when writing an Industrial Training Report:

References
Preliminary Information
Technical report
Conclusion on knowledge gained and relevance.

Writing Your Industrial Training Report.
In preparing your report, there are lists of compulsory headers and patterns that must be properly addressed.

A standard Industrial Training report consists of FOUR CHAPTERS. Let’s go ahead to talk about each chapter and show you how to write an industrial training report step by step.

NOTE: YOU MUST INCLUDE Declaration, Acknowledgements, Summary, Tables and Figures list.

CHAPTER ONE- INTRODUCTION

In Chapter 1, you are expected to produce an introductory message to your report. Start by talking about the Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme, its aim and objectives. This is usually a compulsory part of report writing. Thereafter, talk about your organization history, the nature of the organization, number of employee, type of business or service rendered, etc. Basically, say what you know about the company which you worked. Also, outline the organogram of the company and the responsibilities of those in major positions.

CHAPTER TWO- FULL DETAILS OF INTERN’S ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Chapter 2 gives a clear insight of the daily activities of the intern in the organization. Describe intensively all the activities you were engaged in throughout the six months internship. You can do this in the order of how you were engaged weekly or monthly. You could also rank them in order of their importance, from the lower task to the high challenging tasks. In this Chapter, it is important to highlight your involvement.

EducationHow To Improve Your Exam Speed by Kingerons(op): 9:03pm On Feb 26, 2019
Source: https://myinfoconnect.com/how-to-improve-your-exam-speed/

Let me quickly show you how to improve your exam speed. Have you ever noticed how face time runs down when you are writing an exam that you have so much upstairs to write down? Poor exam speed has made many students fail their exams and perform poorly. Your inability to manage your time during an exam and finish on time can make you fail that subject or course even when you are a guru in it.

The thought of being behind time in an examination can make you totally disoriented. If you plan on getting a high score in that exam, disorientation will not be good for you. So, let us look at some strategies on improving exam performance and finishing your exam on time.

WANT TO IMPROVE YOUR EXAM SPEED? DO THIS
1. YOU MUST HAVE A PLAN
First off, you need a game plan. “hard work is important but smart work is also important”. Passing exam is not fully dependent on how much you read, you must have a plan. Considering essays for example, you must budget your time and know what order to write your essay, the time you should spend on it and how long you will spend on it. Not only essays, this applies to other subjects and courses.

When you fail to plan, you plan to fail.

2. WORK ON YOUR WRITING

Writing can be one hell of an exercise sometimes. Your arms and your wrist are fully involved and it can cause serious pains and aches especially when you’re not used to it. This usually happens to people who write essays and things alike. The only way you can work on your writing is to write more. Just like the brain, the more you use it, the more you build it. Practice writing more than regular so as to build your writing strength.

SAY NO TO EXAM FEAR. CLICK THIS TO READ ON HOW TO OVERCOME EXAM FEAR

3. HAVE CONSTANT PRACTICE
Ever practiced to the extent that you knew the subject like the back of your palm? To me, constant practice is the best way to finishing exams on time. Once you have full knowledge of your subject, no question seems new to you and nothing can really waste your time. Practice makes perfect as the saying goes and perfection gives you good grades. So work on those subjects more often than normal and become a professional at answering those sample exam questions.

4. BE COMPLETELY FOCUSED
During examinations, there is absolutely no time to waste. Stay away from every type of distraction around you. Distractions to me, resets your brain for like 10 seconds and makes you lose balance. Stay on track and be fully focused on your work. Once you are mentally focused, you will be able to work better and answer the examination questions faster.

5. USE A WRIST WATCH
Every single second counts. Get a wristwatch to keep track of time during the examination. This will help you access yourself and the time you actually spend per question.

6. SMASH THE EASY AND SHORT QUESTIONS FIRST
This is the golden rule! Always start with the easy and short questions. Gather your marks bit by bit with the easy and short questions. The thing is those long questions with long procedures will usually take a whole bunch of your time and there’s still a chance you may have not got them right. So why gamble? Get the fruits at the bottom of the tree before aiming for the ones at the top. Also, doing this helps boost your confidence and morale as you gradually go deeper into the examination.

7. COLLECT EXTRA SHEETS BEFORE YOU NEED THEM
Don’t wait till you’re out of paper before you ask the examiner for more because this alone can make you lose time. I remember during an exam where I had to wait for close to 15minutes for the examiner to get more paper for me. It was so destabilizing. I had much to write and I was losing 15 minutes of my time already. So don’t wait till you run out of paper. To be forewarned is to be forearmed.

Because you are special, I have some bonus tips for you

BONUS TIPS
Sleep well before you exam to get your brain fully functional. Don’t write exams with heavy eyes
Eat a balanced diet with proper nutrients
Before you start an exam, ALWAYS TAKE TIME TO SKIM THROUGH THE ENTIRE QUESTION PAPER FOR A MINUTE OR TWO.

EducationAuchi Poly Cut Off Marks 2019/2020 (JAMB & Departmental) by Kingerons(op): 11:49pm On Feb 17, 2019
Update on Auchi POLY CUT OFF MARKS. The JAMB and Departmental Cut Off Marks for 2019/2020 academic session is out and has been released.

Auchi Polytechnic is one of the oldest and renowned polytechnics in Nigeria. It was established in 1963 and is located in Auchi, Edo State Nigeria. But our main focus is on the “list of courses offered in Auchi Polytechnic”.

In line with our mission to deliver firsthand information at all times, we will like to inform the general public that Auchi Poly cut off mark for admission into 2019/2020 academic session has been released by the management of the AuchiPolytechnic.

Auchi Poly JAMB Cut Off Mark
If you have applied for admission into Auchi Poly and have been searching for Auchi Poly Cut Off Marks to check if the score you had in JAMB can qualify you for admission into Auchi Polytechnic for this session (2019/2020), then this post is for you.

All Aspirants should note that the general cut-off Mark for admission into the Polytechnic is 120. This means that all those who wrote JAMB And Scored up to 120 or above 120 are eligible to buy Auchi Poly Post-Utme or Admission form and also sit for the Examination if there is.

But my advice for you is to aim higher. This is because no school will want to admit 120 first when there are other students that scored between 250 and 300

In conclusion, if you want to be on the safe side, try to beat the cut off mark far above the normal cut off mark.
