The hope religion offers is to a large extent false(except in very rare cases, the placebo effect).

Religion has a very large extent of its hope in the afterlife. The afterlife has not been proven to either exist or not exist. The truth remains that we don't know. What we know is the life we have NOW.

It's amazing how much humanity has achieved as a race and how much more we can achieve if only we can act! This is the real HOPE. That we are capable, we are able to make the world a better place, to solve problems, to discover and achieve our full potentials if we ACT!!!

This Hope, the real hope may not be as "fairytale -like" as the false hope religion offers but it's worth it .
THIS IS THE HOPE THAT MAKES US ACT.

you do not need to marry before you get there permanent residence........by living in the country 2-3 years you automatically qualify for permanent resident...................and your opportunity to study in canada or get a visa to canada increases by %80...............

Also if you intend to study in the cheapest schools in canada............it may be of help to you if you learn a little bit of french.......

Atheism is personal and based on personal convictions. Many atheists don't even feel the need to join atheist groups. There have been atheist and freethinkers gatherings in the past that held. There are also religious gatherings that didn't garner as much publicity as expected so what's your point?
