If I charge him to court and he agrees to pay 1k a month, what will happen when he fails to remit 1k in a particular month?

Nothing he will appear in court again and say 1k a month is too high the judge might slash it to 500 Naira

If you arrest him the money is gone because best you can do is charge him to court and the court will ask him how he intends to pay .

You might end up getting 1k a month
