Politics is a very dirty game. Umahi actually helped this PDP to power. After the latter's ill fated reign as the Executive Chairman of Afikpo North Local Government Area where killings and untold robberies were the order of the day, he was excommunicated by the people of Afikpo.

He contested rather vainly for the senatorial seat but rejected by his people, after failing on one of those occasions, he went to the elders and cried bitterly. He spoke to the elders in parables and asked them what he's done exactly that can't be forgiven or that made his own people to reject him for an external body.

After much pleas, he was forgiven. The guy as already seriously broke, his cars were spoilt and littered in his compound. He was only left a hummer bus that he used to cruise around town. The situation was very pathetic.

To cut the long story short, Umahi came to his rescue. Rumours has it that he obtained the ticket of the HOR courtesy of the money Umahi gave him and the rest is history cheesy
