lloydtruth:
All elections in Nigeria have been compromised by all actors involved in the elections. However it baffles me that such huge about can easily be used for such purpose but can't be invested to improve the lives of the citizens.
That's to show that they don't have the interest of the people at heart.
PoliticsRe: $4m Bribery Scandal Rocks Anambra Guber Poll – Checks by kingphilip(m): 11:31am On Oct 16, 2021
If true, then one will not be surprised when cases of embezzlement is heard in the regime of the person if he manages to win.

The investment must be repaid with interest and in such cases over 500% interest is gained by the sponsor.

Dude you better live that girl alone and face your studies, and allow your sister get married to her brother, it not right for two siblings to marry from the same family.
I'm in support of the former, him facing his studies but about the later, why do you say so?

Judging with the fact that I knew her first bfr my sis ever dreamt of meeting him. I even regret helping him to talk to my sister then when he used to beg n bribe me
so after selling your sister for peanuts then, now you want to spoil everything for her?

If this is not pure wickedness, then it is the undiluted one

you are very selfish sha.

If she can look for another, you too can. Na the same love wey you love na im she self love.

But I've had twins marrying twins now, what's with the taboo thing?
PoliticsRe: Nasarawa Government House Without Electricity For 24 Years - FG by kingphilip(m): 9:17pm On Oct 11, 2021
Babsolala:
kingphilip, I stayed in Lafia (close to the government house) for about a year and in that whole year, they barely had power supply. Electricity within that area (Shendam road) is a luxury.

izzy4shizzy, facts! You sabi that area.
I was judging it based on the situation with Karu and Keffi Local Governments.

At least most places in Karu enjoys 2-5 hours light daily while Keffi and environs enjoys 15-20 hours on the average.

I know in the case of Keffi, Abdullahi Adamu did alot there because his residence is there but I never knew Lafia had that issue though.
PoliticsRe: Nasarawa Government House Without Electricity For 24 Years - FG by kingphilip(m): 12:39pm On Oct 11, 2021
I'm not sure this is true.

Other local government areas of the state have been having power supply even some having constant power supply, how will the state headquarters be in darkness for so long?

I don't know why people are foolish enough to join campus cult.

They shouldn't tell me for protection sha because I'm sure non cultists are more safe than cult members themselves.

Imagine people most of their parents toil day and night, skip meals for, became unhealthy for and left luxury aside for, are just wasting their time for what is valueless and some of them who've died due to belonging have wasted their parent's efforts and investments just like that.

May God help us to keep away from things that will not worth being joyful about on remembering them at the later stages of our lives.

Politicians?? I don't put my mouth into their discussions that will lead to argument any longer.

Those people have created more enemies among friends and families than malice.

Nairalanders enough of these fights because of them.

They'll always reconcile when it gets to looting the treasury but more often than nots, we might lose relationships with people around us because of them.

Central African Republic head coach Raoul Savoy is delighted with his side’s historic victory over the Super Eagles in FIFA World Cup qualifiers on Thursday.

The Wild Beats stunned the three-time African champions at home in a matchday encounter at the Teslim Balogun Stadium.

A 91st-minute goal from Karl Namnganda, substitute gave the tiny African their first win of the qualifying campaign and handed Nigeria their first defeat in the process.

In his post-match presser, Raoul Savoy explained how his boys managed to get the unexpected result.

“We stood by them and know that if we cut them off and don’t allow them to be quick then we’ve got a chance. It’s a very great result for us.

“I’m very happy because we put in a strategy and it worked. And when you put in a strategy and have young players, because we have young players in our team, who listen and put their heart in, they can beat anyone.”
He said.
A coach that had strategy, knew how we played and adopted a strategy that will minimise our advantages against them but we had a strategy to only hoof the ball.

If hoofing the ball strategy wasn't working as seen in the first half, why not change or tweak the strategy to see if you can get a result.

JohnBullMySon:
In the game I watched yesterday, creativity wasn't the main issue, but rather we were mostly unlucky in the box, thanks to a dogged and rugged defence. Saying creativity is the issue, is just looking for what to say. We did not play badly at all. But majority of you guys here only judge with goal and nothing else. CAR was just lucky. We can can still score them up to four goals with that same tactic. All it takes is a little more composure and seriousness in attack.

However, we must still think of new ways to destabilize a stubborn defence, especially when it is taking too long to score.
Score them four goals without shot on target?

The chance they scored yesterday, they had that same kind of opportunities over twice and they were not coordinated enough to get it done and they would have missed the last too but for some stroke of luck.

They were in a position to win us with more than a goal margin yesterday.

Is the bonded a guaranty?
Then why do lots of people cry when Rohr starts Akpoguma?

Why do you all call complain about Balogun being this and that if you are more interested in silk football than winning?

BTW, I wonder how only 3 players in our team of " multi talented world class degrees " can be comfortable mentioned to build from back.
point of correction, the bold is because of starting him at right back not central please and that is because we have Aina and Ebuehi who can hold that position on a good day for us

As if you can do any better ! As head coach.

You’re the one running away from your own statement, I checked and ndidi got nothing on kante a dm Fernandinho that year.

Just agree and take the word players so what they are average at best, none of them is a superstar.

No blame coach if aina can’t cross, even if his life depended on it.

No contradict yourself oga, rohr is not top tier so are our players too.
Are the CARians that beat us top tier?

Or of you were a bettor who wasn't a citizen of Nigeria considering the two teams you would have chosen C.A.R. to win?

We aren't saying our players are top tier, we are only saying we should be seeing off these lesser teams at least and be able to hold our own against at least the African so called powerhouses in football or is that too much to ask?

The better team won, let's see NFF response.
it is really the better team.

If they had taken their opportunities well, it would have been two minimum.

But their saving grace was that they scored at the dying minutes.

If we had 15 more minutes left, we would have drawn at least

We can't even string 5 passes together.

FamilyRe: Should I Cut-off My Parents? by kingphilip(m): 2:53pm On Oct 07, 2021
And that is why it is good to marry early, bear all your children early too so that before retirement, they should at least be all off school.

I won't tell you to cut them off completely but like I do tell me, have a budget before your salary comes, immediately you get the salary, implement your budget and the cash left over you can use it to render help or borrow others as you can but you know you've settled most key expenses of yours.

I really hope we up our maintenance culture.

If we continue this lackadaisical attitude towards maintenance, we may soon see that train within 3 years being so old and problematic that you'd think it was the train used in the 60's.
