Good Evening , People of Class, This evening an enthusiastic friend of mine just entered my parked C 300 204 Benz and throttled down just fully down, something I have not done before as i have been gently handling my car, heavy white smoke was coming from the exhaust , white everywhere . I quickly off the engine and after 5 minutes, I started the car and still small amount of smoke was still coming out.

I am very worried right now as I could not know why this is happening , is my engine failing or bad , whats this

Never mind!, not confusing myself, i understand pretty much what im talking about and i have practiced it on several occasions getting results. secondly, i never said he should buy ANY PART and just chuck it in there, i said he should test it i.e pull of the harness wire gently from the airflow when the car is idling to see if there are effects on the engine wen he does that.... That's a simple and quick way to check the MAF to see if its totally dead, so if the engine doesn't change sound when the airflow harness is removed then u know its the airflow! Clap for me!

Madam, you try. But honestly, any Peugeot from 2000 and above you try this with will just shut you off completely and go into lock mode.

Sorry please, though off thread..... I have been curious to know if the same that has been said about w202 Mercedes can be said about BMW, in terms of maintenance, reliability and luxury. BMW of same model with w202.

Please only experts and experience folks should reply.

BMW E36 is a more beautifully sculpted work of German art, it's non M series isn't hard to maintain, it's a tad less unreliable (of course, by now most things will easily break due to age, wear and tear), it's an entry Luxury sports sedan.
