Once chrome trims are faded it's best to replace. To make chrome on surface, one would have to electroplate the items. It's not really a cheap work.

I don't know of the AC system, but the brake Master and servo isn't traditional pneumatic or hydraulic type. it's electronic sensor type. if it fails, you'd have to replace the servo unit and the anti skid control module. It doesn't go as high as 500k biko.
