The car is eod 2003. the exhaust silencer started making some noise inside and it was discovered that some particles inside the silencer piscissed inside thereby generating some noise inside the silencer whenever the vehicle is steaming. Took it to a panelbeater and he said they will loose the exhaust system and cut the silencer open to remove the particle making noise. This was done in my presence and a very tiny particle was removed as the cause of it and the noise stopped. The issue now is that after dat, the vehicle now consumes excessive fuel. I took it back to the panel beater he said there was a leakage in the silencer, he welded it yet no solution because the car now guzzles fuel like no man's business. Please wat cud be a lasting solution to this?

Just caught up.
First things first, do not ruin the M60 engined car with smoked rear lights, keep it classy with the facelift rear lights with the white and red lenses.
If you are changing the fronts, do not go with white, keep the indicator lenses true to the period and maintain the Amber colour.
For colour, do for one of the period specific bmw individual colours such as Mora red metallic (359) or BarbadosGruen metallic (247/6)
I am partial to TitanSilber metallic (354) which I reckon is the current colour on the car (or Aspen silber) and naturally, since my former BMW was this colour, StahlBlau Metallic (372).

Remember, this will be my car so I have to ensure you treat her tastefully

Thanks for your contributions, the agent called me again this morning and told me that the screen available cannot function with the phone . The screen is an higher version hence the phone has to be upgraded with all it's data lost. I've told her not to do anything with the phone and I'll be coming to collect the phone. Any ideas where else I can get the phone fixed without unnecessary delays?
