Philadelphia: God forbid! Why buy a used camry pencil light for almost 1m when I can get a direct toks w202 c180/c200 for less than that and keep change? Toks w202 that is miles better and safer than the Toyota camry pencil light? Abeg shift joor. No thanks.
Hope when its keyless go breaks, you'd shell out +40k to fix it? Plus hope you'd be able to handle various sensors replacement when they start giving way?
1997-2000 W202 facelift is circa 1.2-1.3m 2001 envelope is 1.25-1.3m
liftedhigh: As shared by famousblogng, a female FRSC official was seen dragging steering with a driver while another was smashing the side screen from outside.
Next time stop giving half baked one sided stories. The driver was asked to stop. He stopped, and the female officer went inside the car to apprehend him and prolly escort him to the station. Suddenly, he started driving away in a bid to kidnap her. This resulted in the other officers damaging the screen.
Try this in USA, you'd receive a bullet from an officer.
SmartChoices: You really don't wanna start a pissing contest now ..do you? And I am sure you know the difference in both cars... Meanwhile I believe Nissan is also one of your cherished Japanese products... Innit?

The young man who wants to get his first car understood what I said. We in Mars dont do complicated and fugly looking okpolo motors
GAZZUZZ: Very few people understand what has happened here.
The highlander hybrid comes with a 4wheel drive system. The system employs regenerative Braking, meaning when you step on the brakes lightly, the brakes do not hold, rather the rear differential and the Gearbox which are power generators kicks in and start charging the battery instead of wasting the energy as heat and friction from the brake pads. The brake calipers only work when hard braking is required.
To properly convert, the technician will have to buy a complete harness of same vehicle (non Hybrid) and it's fuseboxes and it's clusters. Clearly this was not done.
Presently this vehicle has NO ABS. No Functional AIRBAG system ALL GUAGES on the cluster DO NOT WORK FAULTY AC ELECTRONICS FANS BLOW CONSISTENTLY NO FUNCTIONAL DIAGNOSTIC PORT
Would you still buy for 3M?
Kpangolo motor. this is equivalent to stealing Sango or Amadiohia's sacrificial food and eating.
xcitedjay: Honda Civic is one of the most reliable cars I've ever owed. Almost zero maintenance plus the parts are cheap. Engine is not expensive and neither is the gearbox. Whatever the problem with the Civic be rest assured that it won't drain your pocket. The reason the car is not going beyond a certain speed is because it is in limp mode. It's likely just a minor issue with the gear.
Scarr, a car in limp mode has a serious issue unaddressed that's why the onboard computer decides to limit available power delivered to the driver so as to take the car quickly for an emergency work.
Don't underestimate a blinking D light. It clearly shows previous owners care free attitude.
You're a first timer and you wan for "klub sufistikat", they be romancing you till you fall into the trap, finally after all is said and done, when the cloak falls down, you'd come thank me especially when you don't know much about DIY and have evil kazeemz willing to prey on you.
Toyota and others. Honda and others.
Them no born German engineering well. Team Japmobiles (except Nissan and Mitsubishi).
GAZZUZZ: 2GR-FE is expected in the bay. But I cannot see any engine pics.
Dealer don remove the pix. As usual unfortunate and unenlightened ignorant fellow would buy the car and then come online to open thread. I wonder why dealers in Nigeria are economical with the truth.
The engine bay of that SUV was bearing a 3MZ-FE engine cladding with tokumbo Spareparts dealers red paint touched on it.
Look at the tachometer, that SUV looks like it originally came as a hybrid but had been modified and put in the market for unfortunate buyers.
Most car manufacturers recommends oil that could work in most weather condition around the world and owner of cars less than 4 years old are advice to keep to this specification so as to be covered under manufacturer warranty with the conditions that the car is still new with lesser possibility of failure in cooling system as there is no way to know where and what condition their cars are going to be in use.
Using oil rating 20W50 in region with extreme weather of temperature sub-zero could damage your engine as the temperature is below the working temperature for such rating hence zero or less effective lubrication as oil tends to loose it viscosity property as it freezes up in the engine, like wise using Oil way higher than the manufacturer recommendation in hot condition like that of Nigeria would be doing more damages to your engine than good as viscosity also breakdown at high temperature which could send your engine to early grave at just speeding up a bit during dry season or slight fault in the cooling system.
Read and stop been a jack ass wasting money on imported oil for nothing, has it ever occurs to you why most oil manufacturer in Nigeria produces 20W locally and their 0W and 5W variant are always imported for ignorant people like you, its because that should be the industrial standard to our weather condition and average temperature.
If your car is still under warranty then recommended oil is to satisfy all asunder to keep your warranty, else in Nigeria you are just another Mugu paying for imported oil causing forex flight believing it to be better than what is obtainable locally.
Now please read and have knowledge of what lubricating technology is all about and thanks me later.
scarr: I am about to pay for a Civic 03, I noticed the D light blinking. Called "kazeem", he said the gear needs servicng that the oil isn't "guaged".
Oga Gazuz said d blinking is a fault on the gear, any idea where I can scan this car in Abuja or an affordable device to buy to determine the real problem.
This would go a long way for me in buying this car
cc kingreign luvinhubby piyke
I no dey Abuja now. I travelled. Avoid that car if you're not sure sha.
PapiNigga: As seen online: The very ugly incident happened after their car plunged down a hill while they were allegedy having sex in the moving car.
The man who is a policeman is identified as Constable Ramon Stephens and the woman identified as Kodian-Kody died from the injuries they sustained in the fatal accident.
nurey: the bolded was the only major problem i know about the engine but the by pass worked wonders for the engine and it was only for a particular year 05 to 06 model or so. Still doesnt mean the truck isnt reliable
believe me, there were alot wrong. Read up problems of VQ40DE.
nurey: the 4.0L engine is as reliable as can be whether its V6 or V8, no shaking. I know for a fact the 2006 pathfinder is a very strong car engine or whatever.
whats with over heating damaging car, i dont get, most cars from 2000 upwards have aluminium engine no more steel, so i dont get what people mean by over heating oyinbo use am for 15years, why should it be any different down here
the 4.0l v6, is a shitty engine. Camshaft sensor problem infested engine, timing chain rail guide problem, timing chain idlers and tension problem, radiator coolant mixing with atf problem. A whole lot is wrong with VQ40DE.
mayor2013: Your last paragraph is totally wrong. Open your owners manual and read carefully. You will comprehend better. Engine oil debate has been talked though severally on this section
Ignore him. The Arabian proverb I screenshot for him aptly described him.
mykel25: You're the one spewing trash.. Google is your friend.... Besides I'm not a mechanical engineer hence I read to research it.... The oil I used for my car has never given it a problem stop been gullible
What does the "w" in a grade of motor oil stand for?
The "w" in motor oil stands for winter. The first number in the oil classification refers to a cold weather viscosity. The lower this number is, the less viscous your oil will be at low temperatures. For example, a 5W- motor oil will flow better at lower temperatures than a 15W- motor oil. The higher number, following the “w” refers to hot weather viscosity, or how fluid your oil is at hot temperatures. The higher the number, the thicker the oil at a specified temperature.
Now common sense should tell you we have different temperature from the manufacture country hence d difference in oil which will still be compactible..... The oil manufactured in Nigeria can take care of the cold start.... Hence no need of imported oil....common sense
Bros, you don go Google and pour am down ko?
Next time Google is ya friend. Stop being ignorant in 21st century

wura2020: Pls. Ìnvite me for house warming when the house is completed. You did not state where the building is located and somebody has already given you a contact in Ibadan. I also bought a submersible pump from that Uche guy. The pump was bad, I complained to him and he came to my house on a motor cycle to check. After confirming it was faulty, he changed it for me.
kolaaderin: He is very right, 20W50 is just a perfect oil for Nigerian weather , all those 0W10 and 5W10 are for extremely cold weather where oil of wrong viscosity rating could freeze up in the engine. Go online and read about various oil viscosity and recommended weather. I have been on original MOBIL XHP 20W50 for close to 4 years now on a German car and my engine still runs in perfect condition u hardly hear the engine running until the cooling fan comes on. Just make sure u buy the oil at a standard Mobil station cause our brothers have imitation in the market too to avoid those stories that touches
You're damn wrong. Can you do a compression test o. Your engine? You'd be really surprised how low you are on compression.
Besides, you putting this poison in a German car shows you deserve no car at all. German cars I know are very selective on oils.
