I bought the car tokumbo accident free and till now I haven't had any issue with it, it's never been involved in an accident.
All papers are intact genuine and up-to-date.
Always serviced with 5W30 Mobil 1 oil and genuine Toyota automatic transmission fluid, Brand new shocks and bushings replaced in December 2019.

This car is better than most registered and Tokumbo out there and under continued recommend maintenance. Fact!

I really wanna appreciate everyone that said a prayer or two for my brother, and those that called to sympathize with me, God bless you all.

My brother made contact with us yesterday night, he’s fine and okay, though he hasn’t given us a story of what happened, all he said was he has been sleeping under the bridge at dopemu, how he got there all the way from ogba, we have no idea.
He’s home with us now, and we thank God that he’s at least fine.

That aside, someone from Nairaland tried to blackmail me... he called my line saying he has my brother and if I don’t do as he says, he’s going to send down his body parts, luckily for me, my brother had already contacted us at that time. So when I got the call from this dude saying he has my brother, I knew it was all a big scam.

I posted for help here, not for someone to come take advantage of the situation for his own greed and wickedness... If you are reading this now, you know yourself, you better change your ways.

HP Pavilion DV6 was the best laptop I ever used, I bought that lappy brand new for 118k, used it for close to 2 years before the battery started getting weak, I had to replaced the battery... I was so down when it was stolen from me..

I've owned a DV2710tx back in 2007-2008. It was brand new and had a free bag with it and it was expensive. It had 500gb HDD, 4GB ram, core i3, finger print reader, facial recognition, windows media center remote control, with Altec Lansing speakers and Bluetooth, hit also had the lightscribe technology.
It was a terrible investment. It was beautiful, expensive, but didn't last and was always overheating and the screen was flickering, battery became weak.

Don't mind that clown claiming it's 35k. He's a very well known folk of questionable dealings and character.

Okay,i went to my mechanic today,he change chamber bushing, and sway bar bushing,front bow joint too,the noise disappeared completely.
I was with him throughout to supervise,cos i found out that if u give them money to buy parts and go back home, they might re-use the older part or manage it,naija hard many of them dont have sympathy

Involve a lawyer. Tell the lawyer to get a quit notice and back date it like 6 months. Go to his door when no one is around, paste it, take pictures of it, remove it and then proceed to court.

Do I still need to change the gear fluid or check if the gear has further faults.

The recent one started after I changed to the extra Tyre and back and it has been like that.




Changed struts and sway bar bushings on the older case, issue went away and later came back.

Either low quality cheap parts were used or they weren't installed properly or you did some serious offloading.

Is there a way I can check the extent of damage on the gear before I change the transmission fluid?

I don't know of any way to test it other than pouring in the fresh transmission fluid and testing.

I don't know of any manual way. I use high end tools to run it.

Yes it was removed and returned back to the engine until it was fully re-installed because of theft.

Good evening boss, I was working on a car today Corolla 2009 with a 2zr engine. Before accident, the car was starting fine without problems. During the course of repairs engine had to be removed. After the repairs engine was replaced everything was put back in place except for the airbags they were yet to be replaced because of funds. Here is the problem, I have spark, fuel, compression, at times it will do as if it wanna start but it won't start after a very long crank. No fault codes present In the Powertrain ECU. I'm just stuck as I don't know what to do, though the engine sat outside the car for about a week.

Was the ECU removed from the car at anytime?

Whatsoever you do, or intend to buy, do NOT buy a brand new unit made for African market or even if it's Tokumbo but made for African or Asian market. Buy the units made for US market or UAE markets. Remember, safety 1st!

Changed one of the bad shocks on the right while ignoring the good on by the left.
The mechanic said the two shock have blcome uneven or not balanced blc i recently changed absorbers.the "beating drum noise" still persist.
Can this be true?
