Lots of things are very cheap in uk. The joy is you can get the expensive yet very good ones in charity shops if you know your onions. So you can literally furnish your house like a big man from charity shops. Some of the things there haven't been used but they are obeying the law of the land.
Also the so called bills are okay unless you are illegal who don't have a good job.
And you can still save a lot.

The problem with Nigerian is when they travel abroad, they want to show they have hammered and go on speedy credits. Big car,big mortgage,big everything all on credit. And then blame govt.
UK govt subsidised almost everything for her people cos they do not run capitalist economy.
Health is free. We don't add that at all.
We see that as our right. Very ungrateful people we are.

Even schooling. Govt is virtually sponsoring you in uni if you meet the requirement.

We are never satisfied.

I got into a relationship with a 22 year old girl who's turning 23 by January.

Along the line, she got pregnant. We kept the pregnancy away from her people until after four months.

I have already made a visit to her family to register my interest in marrying the girl and have asked for date for introduction and traditional marriage.

I didn't know that she has already agreed with the mother to kill and remove a four months old pregnancy.

So, every other communication we were having, the mum didn't know about it.

She left Lagos on Wednesday and today, the mother called me that the baby in her daughter's womb is dead due to stress that the girl was going through while in Lagos. That no one was attending to her, bla bla bla. Not knowing that I have been taking the girl to the hospital all along. She said that they are waiting for a doctor to evacuate the baby.

I feel so terrible right now. This girl is the first daughter and the first to have anything to do with marriage and child bearing. The mother has the gut to kill the first unborn child that was coming into their family.

The mother didn't know that I have all the evidence with me. That I have the test results and the scan results. The baby was doing very well as at the scan we did a day before she left.

I told her that I am willing to take responsibility for her and the child. I am capable. I am willing to marry her. Why then does the mother still go ahead to terminate a 4 months old pregnancy?

The mother attends mountain of fire church. So, I don't know if it's the shame of what people will say about a supposedly murderous Christian home.

I told her that she can remain in Lagos until she delivers if she doesn't want anyone to know that she took in but no, the mother wants to soil her hands in blood.

From my chat with the girl, she's preparing to undergo the abortion. So, it's like the mum called me ahead to inform me that they are about to take the child off her womb. Somebody that a baby died in her womb wouldn't be strong enough to be replying me WhatsApp messages.

I am tempted to take a legal action

Bro there is nothing like legal action here just that u ain't lucky with the kind of family u impregnated their daughter because.same thing happened to me but we did the normal things before she gave birth and till date nothing was wrong

So base on going to police or whatever lawyer.my brother it's a waste of time and money since u haven't paid her bride price before impregnating her 🤔

So just take it as ur fate that u are unlucky and besides she might still be testing your fate other way round though ..

Some of them after 35 yrs of leaving secondary school went further with higher education and are now graduates with several different degrees, while some were unable to go further.

During the week,the estate I live in Lagos received palliatives and what was brought is unbelievable
We got a 50kg Bag of Garri and a 50kg Bag of Beans for an estate comprising of more than 100 families,we are yet to decide on how to share this palliatives so I totally agree that people are hungry and the President must find a way to resolve this food problem

For people with Mental Health issues being on the increase,I beg to differ.This is a very sensitive issue and Mr Rewane should show us data to justify this assertion or else he needs to understand that it is not hunger alone that causes mental health
There are so many things that causes mental health issues and saying that Hunger is a major cause is dancing around the issue
People are angry right now and I really pray those in authority will take a look into solving this issue of unemployment and job creation for all

I have a friend who is full of intellects, he can read very well, speak very well and write very well, he expose his mind with lots of books and activities, everything is has done are self thought and he understands life way better now some of our universities counterparts....

So the answer is yes, you can be a secondary school graduate and be educated....
