EreluRoz:Ika person speaks Ika as a dialect. It's mixture of Igbo and Benin language, though the igbo language is predominant. The problem Ika people have with Igbos is that the core Igbos dont regard Ika as part and parcel of their clans, even when it comes to political appointment, Igbos dont recognise an Ika position as Igbo slot. |
Predator188:I think you are mixing things up ... ..if someone can submit genuine documentation of properties, landed properties, building C of O etc in a visa application.... Then what is source of funds!! That you cannot submit; whoever submits the documents you listed is doing so at their own will to show their asset as home-ties or proof of fund for intended travel purpose as stipulated in the IRCC visa application procedural guideline and policy which is obtained on their website or you request for it via the Access to information privacy ATIP. This is different from a VO poking nosing into the source of income inflow of a sponsor (mind you the sponsor is not the visa applicant and shouldn't be under any privacy scrutiny. Even they (IRCC) will always inform you that you are not oblige or mandated to disclose your personal information under the privacy law act of Canada except if requested, so why are they acting against their own policy, is it because the applicants are from third-world countries? They are Temporary residents they are supposed return to the country of origin..when visa expires, VO needs to make sure they are what they claimed on visa applications..otherwise refusals on tie to country of origin doesn't make any sence! Nobody dispute that, but VO has always been 99.9% wrong about their "assumption or intent" of making sure these temporary resident visa applicants return home when their visa expires as record as shown a sizeable number never return home.
|
sternakin:Even IRCC themselves know they are only acting on our "Japa gullibility" to demand unnecessary source of fund documentation. There is a limit to which a VO can have access to people's privacy. Why is it that all these uneccessary source of fund documentation they ask for is only applicable to Temporary resident visa applicants and not permanent resident visa. This is one of the reason some applicants falsify and tell huge lies to convince VO, and the country keep admitting liars as residents even their citizens can't bear it any longer |
JMG12:The officer is being stupid, most of the temporary resident visa officer dont follow IRCC procedural guideline and policy that guides them on what criteria they should considered while rejecting or granting visa application. They act on applicant's visa application, mostly especially for people from our continent, with disdain. There is no where in IRCC guidelines where it is stated that a sponsor must show their source of income flow aside presenting the bank statement or other acceptable proof of fund for the visa application. It is all due to our oversabi, they have now taken it as a norm to act beyond their jurisdiction looking for what is not lost to deny visas. Imagine a VO rejecting a visa application because sponsor didnt want to show his salary account in accordance to the freedom of protected personal information privacy act of Canada, even though the sponsor clearly demonstrated their income via their other bank statement alongside with their employment letter, payslip, reference letter from employer which is also one of the govt agency in Canada. The slowpoke VO denied a visa because "sponsor refuse to show their "source" of PoF fund which is the sponsor's salary account bank statement" ignoring their own IRCC procedural guideline and policy which states: "...A temporary resident visa application will not be refused just because the host’s personal information is not provided with the application...

You haven't given your definition of junk food. The definition of junk food is relative. Whether you are born in Canada or Lesotho, every culture have their delicacies and if it doesn't aligned it can be termed as junk depending on how they view it. The first time I was invited to an Irish thanksgiving, I was given tasteless potatoe and turkey meshed in sugar. To me it was junk because it never aligned with African delicacies and taste bud. Go to coastco and see the definition of junk food.. some white will fill their carts with soda(Pepsi, Coke etc) and potatoe chips, and chocolates, is that not junk?? |
sinorte:While I understand CAD500 monthly groceries is too small for a family of 5.......$1800 is still high in my own opinion (Except you are staking your groceries on Africa dishes, which are expensive here). Dont follow the crowd to do 'wanna be" online, instead budget your groceries according to the need of your family. All those commenting junk food in this forum, I dont know what they term as junk food. Dont let anyone deceive you I have live in this country long enough to believe people using their own lifestyle to judge other lifestyle. Canada is a place that treat u the way u want it to. You cut your coat according to your expenses ( but dont starve your family with the basic need), if you follow the crowd then be ready to defend your style of living. My 2cents |
Predator188:Hahahahah.. Your comment got me laughing... Who orders for $25 Pizza, whereas u can get a jumbo size Pizza @ walmart for $5 As a new immigrant dont mimic the Canadian lifestyle who dont like cooking but love to order food item online or dine out, yet they rarely have savings ...lol |
Predator188:$450-$550 weekly is still in on high side, except if that family is a gluton or they want to be eating only African delicacies. Most of these children rarely eats African dishes other than pizza and burger...lol |
ednut1:Hahahah, $1800 for a family of 5 too is ridiculous, that is some people biweekly paycheck before tax ... hehehehe ![]() |
yBNL1:Don't mind him, it's evident he knows nothing, just ranting to show-off. Citizen who doesn't know what is happening in his community neither does he belong to any municipal townhall meeting. I don't have time for this liar parading as Sabinus on Nairaland |
CockPit:You are Canadian citizen my foot, who dey talk about this newbies citizen wey no go let us hear word. We are talking of true born citizens not your naturalize citizen, with one leg in one leg out ...lol |
CockPit:He said Canadian citizens, not immigrants. Their citizens are complaining bitterly about housing and jobs, immigrants can easily adapt |
Holy matrimony is what the Catholic recognises as union of man and woman Not blessing ![]() I hope from belssing they won't stylishly pass it into the canon law to wed Gaybriels. |

blaise26abj:It is what it is, constitution is constitution, if that is what it means it must be followed to the latter without inference to twist the law. If anyone feels indifferent let them amend the constitution in the right quarter, that is why we have the senate and house of rep. If a constituion says only the North will rule for 16years and you feel cheated, then address it by having the constitution amended. We shouldn't be interjecting the constitution with another clause that all Nigerians are equal and then nullify it with emotional logic |
blaise26abj:Really, so 25% of 2/3 states, does it also make other states have special status? Why are there no huge transfer of voters card and war in the 2/3 of 36 states that are also given special status? |
ednut1:Factor export cost, custom duty charges and seller's profit |
Samantha124:What about the hair?? Just professs your love and interest in the guy Too much complain.. |
I saw some of the blown parts at the Maritime Museum in Halifax, it must have been a gigantic ship no doubt. What grieved me most was the shoe of a 2 years old baby whose body was later found ..so sad |
