Year of completion should be 2012 even though certificate was awarded on 2016. They ought to have stated it clearly on the certificate. Something like "...having met the requirements for the award of Director of socials in 2012, KINGTELLER is hereby conferred the degree of Yoriyori master on this day 14 February, 2016..."

A little concern, guys. In stating the period of your study, which is most appropriate? From the year u started to the year u finished or from the year u started to the year the degree was awarded? I had a PGD in 2013 which was expected to be for just a year but submitted my thesis in 2015 and was awarded the degree in 2016. On my transcript, it was stated 2016 as the year the degree was awarded. Please what becomes of the study period? from 2013 to 2015 abiii from 2013 to 2016 and what becomes of the full academic year? cos i know this IRCC guys can be so meticulous. cc: mcstan18, tojued

End date has got to be the date on your certificate. In this case, it's 2016. It doesn't matter if the program was billed to run for 1 calendar year. If
you do not meet the full requirements for the award of such a degree/diploma, you're not leaving at the end of the initially proposed time. So, it's safer to go for 2013-2016

Please. I want to ask in a situation where the year of completion is 2012 and the degree certificate was awarded in 2016 due to delay/backlog in university convocation. (it is written in the certificate the year of completion is 2012 & award date 2016, whereas WES wrote 2016 on my ECA report as the year of award ) What year should I write as year of completion, 2012 or 2016?

This ish of CRS score adjustment is the hand work of IRCC. In my opinion I feel they falsify this figure. How Can you tell me that in just 3 weeks of no draw only one person within the score range of 421-430 join the pool?

About 300 people with score range of 431-440 join within this period

More than 1000 people with score. 441-450 within 3 weeks

EOR can be applied for within 6 weeks else it elapse, I applied for my EOR on the 6th week and got outcome in 8 days

This testimony of mine is to encourage anyone who is having challenge, Enquiry on Result (EOR) encounter With MOD-IDP, to consult God in prayer.

I got encouraged by bababode825 when he posted the steps he took to get a review in his writing.

I applied for a remark at the die minute and after 8 days, I got upgrade in my writing to 7 from 6.5.

My new score LRSW - 8, 8, 7.5, 7


In conclusion, I can verify to you that MOD sends your EOR to Australia for remark and also upgrade of your writing is very possible.

NOTE: Pray to God everyday, read the book of psalm (142,146 to 150) everyday, acknowledge Jesus as your saviour. God will see you through.

Let me go back to my prayer mood for God to crash the CRS score to 430

You can use MOD it's cheaper but with my experience at the Cayley College centre yesterday, I wish I paid the difference to BC. Imagine getting to a center by 8 (late, should have been 7:30) and we didn't start till past 11 am.

I had mine with BC, we started past 11 a.m too, the worst part was the tricky listening part was last module we wrote.... that made the matter worst

is it that the speaker was too fast o they didnt speak normal english or the questions was confusing cos im wondering why everyone confirmed listening was hard.

In section 2 and 3, there were too many matching and multiple choice questions with long worded options, while you are trying to keep track with the speaker you are reading through long options of paraphrased words. The no. 30 was the worst, immediately the speaker mentioned the question the next thing we heard was this is the end of section 3 blah blah...,


Ielts is a game of luck, you maybe lucky the exam comes easy or tough, one thing they always do is make one out of the four modules to be difficult

In my ECA report, the year of award(graduation) of my certificate is not written, instead
they wrote the year the certificate was given(date of issue). I got awarded a diploma in 2006
and BSc. in 2012, however, my ECA report read 2009 and 2016 respectively, Why the differences?

When I am filling my Express entry form, should I used the year on my ECA report as graduation year or I state the graduation year in my original certificate?

Let me explain and I hope it helps someone out there. I sat the exam at MOD IDP on the 21st April.

My results initially were as follows LRSW 8,7.5,7.5,6.5 and I was upset because reading was a problem (This was my third attempt). I asked friends and those who had gone on what to do and they advised me to seek EOR. I was a bit worried because all I read on this platform was that they do not upgrade despite the fact that I saw better scores than mine.

I decided to request EOR cos the money I was spending was becoming too much. I was at there office on the 24th of April and the admin officer still advised me not to except I am willing to have faith. I paid N46,124 and moved on. Today would be the 21st day but I did not fret cos the admin told be it take 4-6 weeks.

Today I saw a post from a fellow NL indicating she got a reply from IDP Australia and I wanted to send them an email. I was searching formy candidate number and I decided to check my result online to get the number. Alas, the writing was upgraded from 6.5 to 7.5.

I asked my earlier question because I had not received any email from them(up till this moment). I have sent them a mail to ask for an update.

This is my advise for those that are considering a remark based on what I DID.

First honestly answer the following questions;

1. Did you meet the word count?

2. Are you sure you wrote well and it made sense?

3. Was your writing clear enough?

If your answer is yes, proceed to the following

1. Pray about it (Everyone believes in something)

2. Go to the office and be friendly. When I went there I was just chatting with the guy and he told me he was not happy with certain things within the organization but he would not reveal. I told him politely that the name of the organization was being tarnished due to the way they mark the writing section and he convinced me that they were fair (though I did not believe).

3. Do not shout or accuse them. Just be playful that you wrote well and may be the markers were a bit tired but you are optimistic.

4. Send regular mails (one or two) to idp autralia to ensure your script was received and marked.

That is all I can say or advise. I will share my final results and refund. Hopefully it will encourage someone.

Ok So i contacted IDP Australia on this EOR issues with MOD IDP.

So it seems they do actually send the scripts to Australia.

Oh, lovely, the best thing for people to do whenever they request for EOR is to mail IDP Australia to ascertain they get it. How was the outcome of your EOR, +ve or it remained unchanged?
