Why not call for independent reliable investigation. Christians do not bully people to submission. Matters are investigated in Christianity. Aspersions are not cast, but allegations are duly investigated.

I have been in a situation where I was falsely accused and since then I take every accusation with a pinch of salt.
If the church now chooses to go the legal way with proof to defend itself and initiate consequences for slander, you will use the same phrase of "bullying people to submission". Like Ibiyelomie was accused when he dealt with Kemi or that Igbo Blogger who went to jail for defaming Ebuka Obi.
But I like the way the church is doing by ignoring. It gives less relevance to the accusers. If there's viable evidence, the police can come in. Or wasn't one pastor Daniels jailed for rape in 2023, I hope this was not a false accusation though because the guy stepped on toes politically.
You can initiate a due investigation though. If you bring out proof, I will believe you. I trust only God.

From the story above if true shows that they cannot even construct a good accusation against the church. Whoever sponsors the recording of a song is the owner of the song. You cannot demand a record label must release the media of your late husband to you. If you wanted it that was you should have sponsored the song production for your husband. You cannot keep using sentiments to rub people's name in the mud. If the church now chooses to fight back legally, they would complain of oppression because it is obvious they cannot pay a dime for the damage they are causing. Let them continue.
