To answer your question head-on. More wiser? I'd say it depends... More knowledgeable? And I'd say an outright ''yes''.

There are very few Nigerian girls who can hold their own in any meaningful discussion. [size=20pt]If you look at Nairaland for instance, when a very intellectual topic is created for discourse, you find very few number of girls contributing and strutting their stuffs on it. The others who'd normally grace every single thread would avoid such intellectual threads like a plague because they've nothing that is worth reading to contribute[/size]

Girls are mostly interested in discussing 'bout the latest fashion trends and many inconsequential stuffs. Most of them only manage to garner info about recent and trending world events from male folks (like their friends, brothers and even fathers).

A typical Nigerian girl would laze around browsing through all the topics on Linda Ikeji's blog 20 hours of everyday, without trying to engage in meaningful give-and-take discussions, with people who have loads of meaningful and impactful info to contribute.

Just the other day, I was trying to talk about ISIS with a girl, and she was like

''Wait! Is ISIS not that big tower in Dubai?!''... Jeez! What is this?

It's a shame, to be honest.

Having said that, there are very intelligent girls in Nigeria, who are all-rounders. When they open their mouth to speak, they earn the maximum respect of the male folks.

What I like about the Nigerian ladies tho: when they are on one side of the divide, they are completely committed to the 'cause'. Needless to say, the intelligent ones are actually very knowledgeable and fun to be with (discussion-wise).
