In my experience on this earth, I haven't met bigger and more dangerous hypocrites than muslims. This doesn't mean I haven't met people from other religions who are hypocrites, I have. I've met christian hypocrites. But the troubling thing about muslim hypocrites is that they are the only ones that have the tendency to harm and even kill others for the same thing that they are guilty of. And they'll justify it with their holy scriptures.

And even when they commit a crime that's so dehumanizing and reprehensible, they'll just brush it aside like is nothing and say that Allah will forgive them. Just look at this guy brushing off his own more reprehensible action without any remorse whatsoever, yet labelling harmless pre-wedding pictures as haram.

If this was a muslim country and this guy was a member of the bureaucracy, he'd have issued a fatwa already, and tomorrow and in subsequent days you'd see dead bodies of recently married couples littering the streets.

Islam needs a serious reformation.

MURIC would be better staying off tribal politics of Nigeria. The Fulanis are killing and are being killed, not because of their faith but for the political space and commerce. What has MURIC got to do with this? Prof lost this one.

The pastor is at fault, not the religion. When are we going to get a conscience?

We have the Apapa Ports, Tincan Ports, the Badagry Port is on, and now we are on Lekki Sea Port. Isn't this stupidity?

As low as the UK is, there are about 40 Ports evenly distributed but here it's all Lagos and some mediocre system on the other ports.

We can't grow like this. We don't need such clueless economic plan to grow. Spread the ports and open up the country for business.

They should do the work before the talk. They have not convened, they have not come up with manifesto, ideology etc and they are making noise. How is this different from what APC did in 2015 that led to PMB denying all the campaign promises.
Work first and we will support you if we see the commitment. Just shouting without concrete ideology and plans is nothing but another party which = APC+PDP=Failure.

It is inconceivable to me that men of good faith would try to twist world opinion in such a manner as to deceive people into believing that the starvation and hunger that is consuming ‘Biafra’ is a plot of Britain, Nigeria and others to commit genocide.

”I cannot in all conscience serve you any longer. At that time, I was absolutely positive you were right and your cause was a just one in the best interests of the free world and your countrymen.

POINT THREE – Finally the Republic of Biafra was recognized first by Tanzania, then quickly followed by Gabon, the Ivory Coast and Zambia. Our public relations work was paying off, world opinion was starting to side with us.
Peace talks were arranged at Kampala. I thought that if anyone walked away from the table it would be the Federal Government. But to my dismay it was Biafra that left the Conference. After all the fighting and killing, I knew that peace would not come easy but I could not understand leaving the Peace Conference until the last point was negotiated and the avenue explored.

POINT FOUR – Then urgent telex messages were received from ‘Biafra’ telling of tens of thousands of people starving in the refugee camps, the villages, the bush country – stating if something weren’t done in the next few months over a million women, children and aged would be starved to death. I immediately contacted the Press, urgently petitioned the State Department for action on their part. Food, medicine and milk were sent to the only available ports open for immediate shipment to ‘Biafra’ via land routes through Federal and Biafra territory, under the auspices of world organizations such as the International Red Cross among others.

Then came the incredible answer from ‘Biafra’ that land corridors could not be acceptable until there was a complete ceasefire, and that an airlift was the only solution to feed the starving.

You then appeared before the various Heads of State and representatives of the OAU at Niamey in Niger. I fully expected you to at least accept the world help that was offered your starving throngs. However, you delayed, hoping to use these unfortunates with world sympathy on their side as a tool to further your ambition to achieve war concessions at the upcoming peace talks in Addis Ababa. Thus innocent victims continue to perish needlessly of starvation, the most agonising death that can befall any living creature.

POINT FIVE – This was incredible to me. I am now convinced that I have been used by you and your cabinet to help in military adventures of your origin….using your starving hordes as hostages to negotiate a victory.
If at some later date, following the issuance of this letter, you do concede to allow a mercy land corridor…would you expect me to agree to espouse before the world Press the incredible delay of your decision. What explanation could I honestly give for the needless prolongation of this horror.

The west hold us to another standard. If Goodluck Jonathan had been a westerner and handed his Prime Minister or Chancellor responsibilities same way he did as President of Nigeria, I am sure the west will not celebrate him. These occurrences are not all together surprising. Whenever a change of power occurs anywhere for that matter, the forces hell bent on status quo initially steps backward to evaluate the new system. If the new system truly asserts itself and charts a new course, such forces will permanently retire. If the forces finds the new system does not assert its authority and appears incapable and weak, the forces of status quo resume their game.
Soon all the government agencies making shakara would revert back to status quo. All thanks to the President who seems to be living in the 80s and marking time only.
