It's such a shame that in this day and age with all the education and exposure, people still can not reason out of the box. It's preposterous that these foreign religions we have all come to embrace hook line and sinker with a complete misunderstanding of their concepts and precepts has managed to achieve its objectives in rendering our collective intellect bankrupt without the faculty of thinking and remembering that they originate from some particular culture. These 2 middle eastern religion - Islam and Christianity primarily profess the teaching of faith as in other religions. Since the cultures are close, they are similar especially in dressing, lifestyle and even language - hijab is common to both....Salam, Shalom = Peace just for an instance. I pray the true clerics address this with their faithfuls so we can be human and focused. Let's leave fanaticism out of our lives and move forward like those we seek to imitate

In a sane country you can't be giving people estimated bills to pay.
Their was a country called Nigeria.

I remember when we dey small. Nepa officials will be moving house to house checking meters and after a period of time nepa bills will start coming.
This days the only NEPA official na the one wey dey bring estimated bills, another set wey you go see na once we go come cut your wire if you no pay. If you still find them something. They will not cut your light for that month.
Na so we take they get light that year. Until our bill reach 200k. Omo landlord enter country that year come vex give all tenant. grin grin grin
Recently, someone got promoted to the top for developing e-billing application. I thought we should be thinking of Pre-paid meters to once and for all solve the crazy bills problem leading to these reprisals. No wonder we're retrogressing. People are getting tired of these and damning the consequences to resort to jungle justice

For doing his job by apprehending someone who is contravening the traffic law, so he won't end up killing civilians like you and us on the road?
I thought their job was simply to control traffic and leave the arrest of defaulting drivers to the police usually with them in the course of their duties. While I'm not justifying what befell them, I think they took it too far, except we want to start speaking from two sides of the mouth in collective amnesia.

okay. He should have dress in the same Africa attire with the man in other to prove his point of Africanism. Talking about Africa belief in an English dress is like portray bandits to be a peace maker and not criminals to the society they killed. We all have problem to solve by ourself in this country. Not untill we fix ourself we can't fix bad goverance.
I know say you must get something to say. Na una type be part of our African problem.

I was thinking the DSS will arrested people that initiated this blockage and also look into the issue of herdsmen killing innocent people and farmers in there farmlands but instead everything is politics in this country..one where only the northern region is always favoured than there brother's in the south.
No wonder the southern governor general was fired by Lugard when he vehemently refused the almagamation of northern and southern Nigeria, for he knew a day will come like this and the south revenue will be used to cater for the northern shortfall.
May God help this country for a bloodbath will be so disastrous!

The Northern elites have done more damage to the polity than we see. The guys want education too, which Jonathan recognised and provided almajiri schools, but because they hate him thwarted the efforts. Unfortunately, their reprisal is heading south and country wide. Let's see how it goes, because wahala dey o.

I'm surprised Tunde Bakare is saying this. Isn't it clear what the guys there want him to do? Frustrate him until he leaves and the speaker of the house take over. The guy is smart enough to act like mumu to equally frustrate their plans. Shine your eyes and read between the lines
