Please use the word "replicate" and not "design". There's a lot involved in designing and explanation to make to back it up. This stint has been on YouTube for some years now. It is shameful and ignorant to lay claim to other people's work for want of clout or otherwise. I don't know what Nigeria is degenerating into. |

festacman:This is unfortunately how the West who never meant well towards us want us to see democracy. The moment you start making progress, they quickly call you a name and start looking for your downfall and even turn your own against you. In the definition of democracy, I don't see any limitation in the number of participation by an individual. It is the people's wish that's key to the definition, and that wish must be respected for continued progress. The earlier we limit them from interfering with our livelihood the better for us. Those rogues who want everything done as they want. |

AngelicBeing:If you want to criticize any African President, please leave Kigame out because from your outburst you don't understand what democracy is...as a quick reminder, it is the government of the people, for the people, by the people. Essentially, what the people want is what decides the government in power. If a president performs excellently and the people want him back, why not? But the West know they'll be at disadvantage and therefore want to complain and condemn several terms of good presidents. Why haven't they complained about these old poverty merchants they deliberately recycle all over their French colonies? When did they become the citizens to want to have a say in the countries' affairs? Toeing these skewed understanding of democracy is what will leave us perpetually in poverty and helplessness as had been originally designed by the colonizers. We must not believe everything hook, line, and sinker. It's only ourselves that can liberate us from mental slavery. |

Deal with the producers of Almajiris first then we'll be on the way to solving the problem because they just churn them out without caring how they'll feed or live. The rest will take correction from the economic realities. |

This past election managed to expose the bigotry and condescension of the average Yoruba across the strata and it's such a shame. They claim to have given them demolition notice 7 years ago... any building that can stand for that long after the notice does not deserve to be demolished, but I think sense eluded them and they became blinded by their wild desire to express bigotry and wickedness for which they'll all pay in due course |

Politics / Re: NNPC Confirms Increase In Pump Price Of Fuel, Releases Statement by kioski: 3:41pm On May 31, 2023 |
This is definitely the cabal at work because the mere mention of the end of subsidy does not immediately translate into increase in pump price. So, is our strategic reserve not up to one month? How about the commencement of operations of Dangote refinery? Why don't these lazy thieves run a business the way they should and stop stealing from the people in the name of subsidy. Who knows, today's government may be deliberate in the mistake of announcing what's not necessary! 2 Likes |
Politics / Re: Fuel Subsidy Removal: Tinubu Should Remember His Stand In 2012 - Ajaero by kioski: 2:23pm On May 31, 2023 |
This apparent confusion is the handiwork of the cabal. During the Jonathan tenure, there was nothing to fall back on as the cabal ensured that no refinery worked. Now, Dangote refinery is on stream so in less than a month the seamless supply of petroleum products can be achieved which leaves the June 30 end date for subsidy properly placed. This idea of issuing license to import products issues from the greed of the cabal who cannot fathom how to live without subsidy. It's unfortunate that the president's pronouncement was unnecessary as he doesn't owe the cabal any explanation nor the citizens as no shortfall will be expected with Dangote refinery being on stream. This is one of those unnecessary "I must make a statement" mistakes people make to be seen to be in charge. |

"Hit the ground running". What was wrong with waiting to hit the ground before running, what's the hurry? I know the major reason most dignitaries speak slowly is to evaluate every word and how it will be perceived before saying it and not to pontificate, because the moment the word gets out, that's it. |

The DPO said "nothing was reported", does he have to wait until something is reported before doing anything about it, as it appears that their policing is now desktop? Conversely, "nothing was reported" probably because the reporter may be in trouble for being a good citizen and therefore by that avoid reporting. |

I forgave him because he suffered more damage and the next thing was one old woman telling me I'm godly then begged for me to buy her a gallon of petrol. I simply declined and I think that's what to do to beggars. Everybody has enough problem to last him a lifetime. 1 Like 1 Share |

It is the right of the citizens to flow with the judicial process which, of course, leave the judges with the final say. Backwardness is indeed a bad spell... they can't even see anything from a balanced perspective - myopic to the very end. |

Politics / Re: Reno Omokri Reacts To Allegations Of Igbos Being Left Behind In Sudan by kioski: 9:41am On May 02, 2023 |
Facts be told, there's been a general apathy towards the Igbos in nearly every aspect of our national life. The war has been raging with many countries evacuating their citizens while Nigeria is looking on. When an individual saw it urgent to do the needful, the Nigerian government suddenly remembered they have Hercules planes to do the evacuation. Geoffrey must have exhausted every opportunity to have this happen earlier but I can imagine what it feels like dealing with people who don't care until the situation becomes obvious enough to elicit public outrage. I wonder what state of origin in Nigeria has to do with being a Nigerian if we truly want to identify ourselves as one. That some states decided to respond to the emergency to evacuate their citizens only goes to show how decrepit the system has become. We honestly need to get out of this mediocrity. |
