Since submitting my application back in March, I haven't checked, remotely thought of or even remembered the existence of the NNPC Career portal until now that I came across it on this thread.

I relied solely on my email and SMS for correspondences from the NNPC. This recent renaissance of the existence of the portal prompts me to think it still has its use in the recruitment process

The status update of "completed" attached at the bottom page of the oral interview letter serves a purpose.

If we are a serious country, everyone can see his CBT and Interview results on the said portal. If interview scores are made transparently open, by the time APL start flying I am sure we wouldn't have much to complain about.

In the meantime, I suppose Notifications of Appointment Letter can be uploaded to the portal, attached to our various email addresses for download before going to the Towers and having the bar code scaned for verification.

I don’t think so. The test has served its purpose. From 60k that’s sat for the test to 9k invited for the interview. The CBT has taken clear of 51k people already.

Interview and probably your CV will take care of this stage.

Agreed, even with legit connect and interview assured b4 test... People still had to write test so that they can see how they person they are recommending can perform.

Oga jarus and xfire should give us insight about the details and procedures of how NNPC hirees are posted to various divisions and subsidiaries. I heard that a candidate's overall score determines whether the candidate works in the upstream, midstream or downstream. Anyone with legit info should kindly clarify.

Hi posting doesn't have to do with overall score. Posting is done base on discipline usually after training.

Im yet to get, i interviewed on the 8th and the chief interviewer said they would submit the list to management before APL are sent to people. I dont think theyve done that in less than a week and have now gone ahead and sent the list to their various subsidiaries who have now started paying their upcoming staffs.

More so, from a subsidiary. Think guys. Any person paid from a subsidiary is as good as having got apl. Those paid from the general roll book: mis, some are employed some aren't.

Bros forget this subsidiary theory. Subsidiary is not stated on the APL. Posting happens only after training.

Apparently seems they handle salaries/compensation of employees. Perhaps people receiving transport fares from the compensation analyst were the successful ones.

If you're successful you'll be paid by the subsidiary you'll be working with (e.g., the Terhemba guy from NPDC). Everybody's details are in the MIS once you did the interview. Some successful people will be paid by the corporate services MIS while all unsuccessful candidates will also be paid by same corporate services.

Well, what I am saying is based on my hunch (which hardly fails me), and observation. What do you think the secretaries were doing as the interviews were going on? In my panel, after each person was interviewed, it took another ten minutes before the next person was called upon. And other guys in other panels I know attested to that trend. Like flowwolf said, which I agree with, all successful candidates will be in the MIS. Soooooooo?
