Seems since Achimugu Farouk payed some of us on the 6th, the rest payment has been handled by Terhemba King.... Don't know why....

could it be that, some people carefully select the names of the applicants to be paid, and send them to mr king, farouk et al, or these guys are the one omitting people's name (if it's according to dates, though)?... cuz onunu guy said, according to mr king, there's no correlation whatsoever between TF & APL... so what exactly is happening?


note: one NLer here said, he/she was interviewed on 3rd, and has been paid, together with 2 other guys he knows, but we didn't get the "wave" 3rd july guys being paid here.

I knw a frd we both did our Msc together is the US with very strong connect. I was shocked when he told he already had his Apl long b4 the interview started and he has been told to report back in December.

My point of view based on my current experience is that, those getting the job are meeting the cut off Mark.

Say for example they need 500 candidates and 600 meets the cut off mark, those with influence will get in. You get?

The CBT was organised by Jamb. The owner of a private company that works with JAMB later told me they were the one that conducted the test when we met few days to my interview in Abuja.


As regards the senator, you may be correct. A Federal rep told me they've not set up committee and nothing like slot is going on among them.

A senator also told me there is nothing he can do as at 2 weeks ago.

A boy who has closed connect to the Senate president said it is very hard to be done.

The only sure link I know that should work is the Presidency ( Abba Kyari, remote controller) or members of the board or top men in NNPC. Some may believe, you will make a good employee since you passed the test.


So far, the process is based on merit.

As for senators and Reps, the 8th Senate had slot, nothing for this new Senate.

By what means shall the APLs be delivered or sent to the successful candidates, would it be via e-mails or hand delivery(e.g NIPOST) or both ??

I'm asking because the way most people comment about receiving the APL, I imagine it could be received by midnight.

For the records NNPC already have their prepared list and it's going to FCC this week. Anybody telling you that they are currently having selection headache is wasting your time.

It is quite sad how lowly this thread has been derailed. More surprising however is the audacity that so many on here are having of recieving APL. Well it is quite possible that a lot have very strong connection but for those who do not, i implore you to do whatever you can to get in touch with who you can, your LG chairman for a start. My assertion is that majority of these comments are by GTs ready to explore their various careers and I wish everyone the very best, in this recruitment and other endeavours. But please, a piece of advise, do keep your options open as not everyone would be taken. If you hold on to this mentality, it gets easier if it doesn't turn out as expected.

Now to reality, this corporation's recruitment is arguably the most sought out by all and sundry in this country. Little wonder it garners so much attention. Truth is recruitment in this country is very competitive education-wise, so the position you are jostling for has others with probably better connections, qualifications, experiences et al. In essence, you may require more than just qualifications to secure the job (grace, connection or referrals). Do some of y'all know that someone on NL in 2018 had stated that a recruitment would be done by NNPC in 2019? Prior to my applying for a position in this recruitment process sometime in march, someone had informed me that it would be concluded in August. Truth is a lot of well connected people were privy to this recruitment exercise even before it started. I come on this thread from time to time to corroborate some information which is most times laced with irrelevancies. We will all do well to keep this thread back on the right tack. I was told the APLs would be sent in 2 week's time barring unforseen hitches.

Till then, reach out to who/what can assist in securing the job. Above all, be humble.
