No matter how many times Jonathan reschedule the elections, he's going back to Otuoke.

Nigerian army have been sleeping for over 5 years, it is now 7 days to election that they realized that they require 6 weeks to secure our borders?
Sick and tire of this administration.

I think this is the way politics should be, so that the electorate can match your manifesto to your actual archive mentioned at the end of the day and determine whether to give you another chance to perform or throw you out.
Great step in the right direction. U believe if we continue with this type of issue based politics then we will see true change in Nigeria.

I look forward to a day in Nigeria when we all see ourselves as complimenting each other and do not see that one of us is better than the other.
In the real sense the head can't tell the hand is more impprtant, ask the man without hands, in the same way the hand can't tell the head it is useless.

Let us leave this issue of which one is better or superior and deal with our we can better our economy and in turn our lives.
In economies where each one funcrions well with enough jobs to go round I'm sure they don't have this debate going on.
God bless Nigeria.

Christianity EtcRe: Pastor J Reacts To Pastor Biodun's Sex Scandal by klerry(m): 11:40pm On Sep 01, 2013
My candid opinion is this;
Sexual allegations against a man of God is serious and not something to be handled with levity. If the Pastor is sure his hands are clean, he should set up a committe headed by reputable pastors- I will suggest Rev Francis Wale Oke to head such a commitee and interview the lady. I believe the records are easy to verify, cross check the dates see whether they match, hotels et all. I also believe this should be the demands of the members of the church to clear the air. Once the committe is able to ascertain the allegations are false, then a press statement should be released by the church.

On the contrary, if the allegations are true, he should confess and seek the face of God for forgiveness. He that covereth his sin shall not prosper, but he that confesses and forsakes them shall have mercy. God is merciful.

EducationRe: The Problem With HND Certificate – By Femi Olabisi by klerry(m): 10:59pm On Feb 21, 2013
Nice write up!
But in my opinion, the problem with HND certificate or whatever degree is the kind of environment we find ourselves in.
All these institutions have roles they are meant to play in the development of the graduates they produce. If we have a working system where evryone fits into their various areas of expertise with ease, we will not be complaining of the kind or class of degree we have, all we will all do is fit in our specific areas. The best we can do now is be the best at what we do cos having a university degree now does not even mean you will still not be descriminated at the work place.
PoliticsRe: APC: Tambuwal For President? by klerry(m): 9:37pm On Feb 17, 2013
Until we let go of thsi tribal and religious sentiments, we can never have a new Nigeria. If a Southerner, Northerner or whosoever can deliver us from dis mess we are in, so be it. Be it a muslim, christian or atheist, as long as he's able to transform Nigeria and allow us remain as a unit. All we want is positive change!
Let's get rid of the sentiments!

confusion247: The answer can easily be found in injustice. Jonathan must complete his second term in office if we still want Nigeria. Then after that Igbos should be allowed to rule if we believe in justice and equality.

SportsRe: TB Joshua Warned Keshi Over Last-Minute Goal by klerry(m): 10:59am On Jan 23, 2013
He needs to get a life!!!! Hw come we only hear abt it after d incidenthuh?

maxygirl: Published on January 22, 2013 by ·

Unknown to soccer loving Nigerians, Coach Stephen Keshi was warned to ensure that the Super Eagles did not concede a last minute goal in their AFCON Group C match against Burkina Faso yesterday.
The Nigerian team, that scored a first half goal through Emmanuel Emenike were close to winning their opening match at South Africa 2013 Nations Cup, but lost focus and allowed the Burkinabes equalised barely 10 seconds to the end of the match at Mbombela Stadium.
Just as millions of soccer pundits have critisised the Eagles’ approach to the match, Keshi’s spiritual confidant, Prophet TB Joshua said he spoke to the coach to tighten up his team’s rear, especially in the second half.
The leader of Synagogue, Church of All Nations, who said the Eagles also disappointed him as a strong fan said: I called and warned Keshi to watch out for that dangerous move by the Burkina Faso strikers”.
And due to the fact that many people may not belief in his prediction, TB Joshua supported his claims by making a recorded copy of his conversation with Keshi available to P.M.NEWS.
In the conversation, Keshi urged the prophet to pray for his team, saying they did not want to concede any to against Burkina Faso.
In his response, Joshua, who advised Keshi to call him before the second half, stated: “You have to be careful and pray so that what the tragedy I saw does not happen to the Eagles. The horses of Burkina Faso do not get tired, and your defenders must not lose focus in the second half…”.
The Eagles, who fell like packs of cards in the encounter, also received hard knocks from former Nigerian internationals, Sunday Oliseh, Jonathan Akpoborie, Tijani Babangida and Rwanda Coach, Milutin Sredojevic.
Oliseh, a former skipper of the team, said yesterday’s draw was like a loss to the Eagles, “because they may regret the result as the competition progresses.”
Akpoborie, who earlier said the team cannot go far at the AFCON, castigated the strikers for not utilising their chances.
Babangida also lambasted the Keshi-led squad, saying they would blame themselves if the draw edge them out of the competition.
Rwanda coach, Sredojevic said he was disappointed in the Nigerian team, saying they lacked a winning mentality, concluding that Keshi is technically inept.
Meanwhile, Keshi has heaped praises on his players for the result against Burkina Faso. The ‘Big Boss’ declared that he is proud of his players despite their failure to hold on to their slender lead, which would have seen Nigeria assume top spot in the group.
“We are not going to let anything bring us down, trust me. I am very proud of the boys”.

BusinessRe: Conversation With Sanusi On "New" Currency Policy by klerry(m): 5:11am On Aug 28, 2012
Wizeboy: In as much as I agree with his decision to introduce the new N5000 note, where my worry lies is the introduction of N20 coin. Though COIN is been used in more advanced countries of the world as a means of transaction but I doubt if that will work in Nigeria.

I remember when 50kobo and N1 was converted to coin, the price of sweet, biscuits and some other items quickly rise to N5 and had been like that since then. I strongly believe if N20 notes is finally converted to coin, hardly will the value worth what it is today (the price of Pure Water, Biscuit, Sweet and some other things will change drastically) because of Nigerians mentality.

He should therefore, let N5, N10 and N20 remain paper note, in order not to cause hardship for Nigerians.
My take exactly, practically we will be forcing the least cost of paying for or getting any service being the #100 note cos we are not used to carrying coins. Just watch out, the least cost we will have to pay for any fare will now be 100 naira etc.

As pastor or political activist, he has always strongly criticized anti-people policies.

I think it's been clearly stated in the post. He's an activist I don't believe he's recting this way cos he lost in the last election. He's been speaking since the time of the military rule in Naija. I still respect him though! Only a few men of God speak up in Naija even when its obvious things are not working.
