So give the rating of battery that can last up to 3 to 6 hours when tv, fan and some little appliance are connected to it CharlesPhc: If they like let them sell at N1000/Litre, we are more than capable...!!!

How to build your own Power Supply
This simple 'How To do it yourself article' explains an interesting topic, how to convert your computer UPS into home Inverter.
If you own a desktop computer, you may have a UPS that can power your computer for 10-15 minutes after power failure.
The purpose of the UPS is to save your work and shutdown your computer properly to avoid potential data loss and hardware loss such as Hard disk of your computer.
Most of us always underestimate the potential of the computer UPS that sits beside your computer. The average computer UPS can deliver around 600VA, which is enough to power your low power appliances such as fan, tube light, computer, television, etc.
If you own more powerful UPS such as 1KVA you can power your home appliances more.
So how much can my computer UPS provide? 600VA means the apparent power, but the real power is 60% of specified value. In other words it provides 60% of the VA rating.
For example:
If you have 600VA UPS then 600VA x 0.6 = 360W maximum output.
If you have a 1KVA UPS then 1000VA x 0.6 = 600W maximum output.
If my computer UPS can provide this much power, then why does computer UPS only power 10-15 min?
This is because most of the computer UPS is only powered by 12V 7AH battery which is sitting inside the UPS.
To increase its backup time we need to connect a higher AH battery. The purpose of this article is to make a cost effective home Inverter from a computer UPS.
It works perfectly and I and a few friends have been using this for the past three years and still running...!!! |

DaveONchE: YES! I mean the Magistrate (a person) from your state of Origin in a magistrate court or the Principal (from your state of Origin) of a Government Secondary School can also sign, stamp and write the letter of Good Character for you as stated in their guidelines. thanks for the update have done the clearance and I was told to get prepair for kaduna. thanks for the update it a big relief I do it in court. |

DaveONchE: I think there is still time to ask him to write it and if you have someone there who can go and get it from him for you, they can help send it to you. I stay in Lagos, but mine was signed and written by a General in NDC and was sent down to me.
Since he is a Brigadier General from your state, I think its better you get it from him. I won't advice getting from your alma mater (If not the Principal of a Gov. Secondary School and is not from your state of Origin) instead.
They were specific in the guideline that it must come only from the officers listed, I.e, Military Officers from the same state not below the rank of squadron Leader or equivalent, Police Officer of the rank of Assistant CP and above, LG Chairmen/Secretaries, magistrates and principals of Gov. Secondary Schools from your state of Origin.
Hope that helps! do you mean that i could stamp my form in a magistrate court in my state, and also get letter of good conduct from them. Or even from a government principal of my state. Pleased comfirm to me that i can used this people for my attestation form.thanks |

mimzy007: I will say it for the last time. In Kaduna yesterday they were told to watch out for it in 2 weeks, it may seem unreal or to fast but for certain reasons I believe it's true. For the gentleman asking how long the selection board lasts, it takes about 10-12 days depending on the number of people invited, I'm going by how it was in 2013 do they give on merit,´because i apply but i didnot go for the clearance due to some of my experience in federal government job and is there a day set for dose that miss the screening, just in case i change my mind. Thanks dear |

I mean guys like Sango, Obatala even Amadioha can write the letter for you. But if them claim say them no sabi book, then rush down to mount Olympus.
There you'll find bunch of smart and intelligent Greek gods like Promeathus, Ares, Apollo etc. They will not only write the letter for you, but will also give you tips for passing the test.
Safety tip: If you're handsome, don't go anywhere near Aphrodite. Else, you will only come back when we are at camp. hmmmm |

Business › Re: CBN Claims Responsibility For Parallel Market Crash by klevotino: 1:58am On Mar 11, 2016 |
NOIBMUUL: All you people just talking trash about growing Nigeria because one theoretical person (without practical knowledge) said so.
Let me paint this picture to drive my message in; Doctors give drugs to sick patients so their health can improve. But even Doctors will say when you have a weak immune system, the drugs have less certainty to work.
The same can be said of our dear country Nigeria. How can we grow (drugs) the economy (sick) if there are no fundamental infrastructures (functioning immune system) to aid the growth. We do not have light (electrical energy), our transportation system is in a hot mess, and we do not even have a functioning system! How do we want to grow
With all due respect, small countries like Madagascar, Malawi have no problem with electrical energy. What am I even saying, Nigeria's GDP (at over USD 500 billion) is bigger than more than half of European countries (including Norway, Denmark, Portugal) yet we do not have light! How do we want to grow the economy? On generators? Imagine those brothers in Aba that produce stuffs, the Innosun man manufacturing cars and thousands of vibrant Nigeria's creating/developing things, how far will they go without light? As a young boy in JSS, i used to build transistor radios and allocate a frequency to each. Imagine what i would have achieved if we had lights or a functioning system. Now, I am on a job when I know deep down that i should be an employer of labour and creating jobs. Do you really think people like Bill Gates, late Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, Mark Zuckerberg etc would have succeeded without these things? Or do we think they are better than us?
And out Government is quick to enact policies and law without even creating an enabling environment for things to thrive. No work, people will try and sell snacks and drinks in traffic = Govt will harass them and even jail some. No food, people will try and start a small biz around this = Govt will harass and start demanding tax and irrelevant charges. DO you even know Nigeria since the discovery of oil has squandered more than the amount that was used to rebuild the whole of Europe after the second World War? Yes, check it! I can fill the whole of nairaland if i continue to go on and on. But my point is we should not always join the wagon and adopt things just because someone said it. They might be saying it because they were paid to, have their own agenda or are dancing to the music of their stomach.
This generation have the best platform ever (social media) in the history of humankind; we should use it to demand accountability, transparency and effectiveness from the Government. No European country posses a quarter of an average African country's resources yet we are the poor and third world country while they that extract resources here are the elite and rich country. Without African resources and market, half of the global economy will crumble. Yet our Govt will still continue to move blindly, obviously for selfish reasons....
...Make i drop my pen, have a meeting to facilitate. #IJustDeyVex brother you really annaylise your point wella. Make I no too flow..just getting the rythe.. |
