Maynman:
The past is gone, the future is yet to come, only this present moment exist, the eternal now.
The fleeting present is “eternal”?
Still not clear.
The past is gone by definition and the future is yet to come by definition. What are you saying?

Maynman:
The difference between you and a freshly dead body is life, consciousness.
What does this mean? After explaining that, pray tell the following:
What is the difference between me and long dead body?
What’s the difference between a person in a coma and a freshly dead body?

Maynman:
That life exactly is what you are, but life needs something (form) to be able to experience itself.
What?
What’s an example life without form?
Why does this life need form to experience itself?
Can a body experience itself without being alive?

The present is eternal.

Maynman:
I'm saying life itself has no birth or death. It's Eternal.
Based on what rationale?
What does it mean to be “eternal”?
Christianity Etc › Re: What Is Death? by KnownUnknown: 5:34pm On Nov 16, 2023
Maynman:
True.
Life is eternal, it has no beginning or end. No birth or death.
Doesn’t reality contradict this stance of yours?

If there is “no birth or death” what do you call the events labeled birth and death which occur in fact?

While pastor’s like Pastor Reno Omokori …Pastor Tobi , Odumeje might not be in heaven with me

If every religious adherent obeys what is written in their holy books, don't you think there would be chaos?
They already obey and contribute more than their fair share to the constant chaos that is human affairs.

Just look at the present war in Israel and it boils down to what Europeans believed about Hebrew bullshit their religions are built upon. You can even see on this site those who display slavish devotion to Israel based on religion thereby turning a blind eye, nay, cheering on mayhem and terror, and murder. Then, they justify it by claiming Islam is violent as if Judaism and Christianity aren’t.

Meanwhile in India, the Hindus and their caste system are agents of chaos.

And a few in Nigeria still believe body parts should be sacrificed to their imaginary friends.

Pick a religion anywhere, they are all insane. But what do I really expect from an inherently irrational species like humans?

Is it not His House (earth), His Laws?
House? What house? What laws?

Dtruthspeaker:
Even before men made their legislative bodies God's Law aka Natural Law. Abraham had servants and his servants children stood a chance of inheriting (law of succession) his properties if he had not had any children.
And no national or state Iegidlature existed at that time, yet The Laws of Contracts and Family Law and Succession was in Force.
Given that the Abraham fellow is said to have left the land of Ur in Mesopotamia, does it not follow that the “law of succession” he was following was law of Ur and not this “natural law” you speak of?

You will need another example of the “natural law” that your god promulgated.

Exo 21:5 And if the servant shall plainly say, I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not go out free:
Exo 21:6 Then his master shall bring him unto the judges; he shall also bring him to the door, or unto the door post; and his master shall bore his ear through with an aul; and he shall serve him for ever.
5 “But if the slave declares: ‘I love my master, my wife, and my children; I do not want to leave as a free man,’ 6 his master is to bring him to the judges[c] and then bring him to the door or doorpost. His master must pierce his ear with an awl, and he will serve his master for life.

Why does your Bible say “servant”? Servants are free people and are not enslaved so it’s disingenuous that your Bible says servant instead of slave.

Is there something inherently wrong with slavery that the people who wrote your particular Bible had to change the word to servant thereby making the passage meaningless?

Who do you think is responsible for this passage?
An enslaved person (“servant”) or a slave “master”?
Christianity Etc › Re: Mark, Luke, Mathew, John NEVER Met Jesus!! by KnownUnknown: 10:14pm On Nov 12, 2023
musicwriter:
The book: Caesars Messiah revealed some part of it. There's another book specifically called "Jesus never existed" that talks about that.

For those interested in serious research- history and archeology, Jesus never existed has a scholarly website www.jesusneverexisted.com

The scholar made it a lifetime service debunking the lies, coverups and telling the real history
You don’t even need a “scholar” to dispute the existence of Jesus. It is simply a case of the impossibility of the tales told about him.

You don’t need a scholar to dispute the existence of any god because gods only exist in stories and their actions in the stories are clearly impossible, implausible, and often ridiculous.

The “real”jesus can only be found in the gospel if you dismiss the magical stuff. And after you dismiss the magical stuff, all you’re left with is a charlatan and a cult leader. Just dismiss the ridiculous Jew and keep it moving.
