I know where Abraham came from. And if you believe what the Jews and Christians are saying God can't be found at Abraham's former haunt. So, your exposition is a bit off for me.
Abram came from Ur in the story and that’s where the Lord God (El) first spoke to him. While you pose questions to Christians, maybe you should wonder how El became your Allah.

Genesis 14:
17 After Abram returned from defeating Kedorlaomer and the kings allied with him, the king of Sodom came out to meet him in the Valley of Shaveh (that is, the King’s Valley).

18 Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine.(He was priest of God Most High) 19 and he blessed Abram, saying,

“Blessed be Abram by God Most High,
Creator of heaven and earth.
20 And praise be to God Most High,
who delivered your enemies into your hand.”
Then Abram gave him a tenth of everything.

So I have been puzzled by this biblical figure for ages now ,the person on whose order of priesthood Jesus himself came from .

Is there some other order of priesthood?
Melchizedek is a character in the book of Genesis who made his appearance when Abram returns from a rescue mission. Lot is captured and Abram goes and rescues him. Upon his return, he is met by two men, one of which is Melchizedek who is introduced as the priest of the most high god. Abram then gives Melchizedek a tenth of the loot he returned with unprompted.

What is the moral of the story children?

If Abram himself gave 10 percent to a priest, who are you to withhold the tithe? smiley

4) Proving that said God indeed came down in the flesh (as you've said)
Did God “come down” on an elevator, stair case, or escalator? Did he drive or ride when he “came down”?

God “coming down” further exposes the farcical nature of religious beliefs. The people who created this system of gods and their wondrous abodes based it on a geocentric flat earth system, which any educated person knows is wrong.

Wiegraf at the North Pole, Knownunknown at the South Pole. God “comes down”. Who sees it first?

Or maybe it is just a figure of speech. Lol

When I eventually get around to this I will be proving Christianity to be true. Doing so would include proving that the God of the Bible exists, and that He became flesh 2,000 years ago, in order to save humanity. I will likely create a list of what I believe any Christian would agree to be articles of the faith and prove them to the best of my ability.
Lol. You’re going to prove that the character called Lord God from the book of Genesis is real. Lmao.

What will you do for your final trick? Make the sun stand still?

Assistant Referee 2: Corey Parker (USA)
Fourth Official: Stéphanie Frappart (FRA)
Reserve Assistant Referee: Karen Diaz Medina (MEX)
Video Assistant Referee: Armando Villarreal (USA)

So correct me if I'm wrong, but i think what you're trying to say, is that what we know as the big bang, was not the beginning of the universe, but the transition of the universe from the "hot dense" state to the current form it is now.

I think that's an interesting way to think about it. Although it does make one wonder what other states the "universe" had been going through before getting to the one we know as the big bang.
Yea. Transition.

That's an interesting way to look at it.

Although one particular pantheist I've spoken to, believes even humans, are part of “God".

Just as our individual cells are still part of us, and have their functions, some pantheists may subscribe to the idea that even without knowing it, we have a function, just like the cell in our body, which we are carrying out as part of the universe (A.K.A God)
Maybe we live in the kneecap of an unfathomably large giant called God. Or maybe in the mitochondria of a large leaf on a big ass tree called God. I mean it’s probable. How probable? I don’t know.
Christianity Etc › Re: Atheists In The House, What Made You Stop Believing In Religion? by KnownUnknown: 2:53pm On Nov 24, 2022
Wilgrea7:
I think in this case, the “creation" would be the universe, since current scientific evidence seems to show that our current universe began to exist about 13.8 billion years ago, implying it must have been “caused" by something
The model says it didn’t begin to exist but begin to expand 13.8 billion years ago. It is the expansion that is said to be 13.8 billion years. There is no reason to admit an external “cause” of the expansion because there is no external cause needed to explain what happens since the expansion proceeded. Objects such as stars that are claimed to be “created” have been theorized and observed to form without any creator’s involvement. Also, there is no object that is permanent and can be said to have been “created”. All objects are in transitional states. Our sun according to theory and observations formed out of cosmic gases, evolved into what we are currently experiencing, and will continue to evolve until it loses all material which will then combine with other materials to form other objects. Other the interactions and observations that are called “laws of physics”, there is no creator unless you choose to create one.

Life is a journey from AB to CD that is from myriad elements to Birth to Living to Death to myriad elements. In between B and D is C...C is for choices. Which is the only thing we own. In other to make life more meaningful and interesting Mazda PUBBAH gave us reason to keep and follow......because at the end, our body returns to earth and our seed returns to Mazda PUBBAH ....

The only purpose of life is according to the will of Mazda PUBBAH

While I concede, at least for now, to the idea of intelligence and consciousness being an ingredient in creation, i have no reason to believe that the creator, is a single deity, or one that doesn't have another creator, or one that's omnipotent, and so on.
What is this “creation” you speak of?
Christianity Etc › Re: The Existence Of A God Does NOT Solve The Moral Dilemma by KnownUnknown: 2:14pm On Nov 24, 2022
Wilgrea7:
If I were to discuss with a pantheist on certain topics, i would similarly, for the sake of discussion, assume the existence of a God that is the universe itself.
The problem with this God that is the universe itself is that it excludes humans from the “universe” itself.

This is quite obviously a cop-out to evade trying to support an indefensible position. I could create a poll and ask every atheist on Nairaland if they believe God exists. They do not. Do you believe God exists?

You can't just lack a belief about a concept you are fully cognizant of. At best that would be an appeal to ignorance, but you are completely aware of God. Whether you like it or not, you subconsciously believe something about God. You either believe that God exists or you don't.

Even if you have lacked a belief until now, I am challenging you to make up your mind. Do you believe in God or not?
You articulated why I view atheism as the opposite of theism. They both make claims about “gods”.
I was an atheist until I asked the question, what is “god”?

If I’m being magnanimous I’ll call it fiction. If not, I’ll call it nonsense, imaginary friend, the world’s oldest scam. There is no “belief” involved.
I don’t have belief or lack belief in Obatala, Atum, Ahura Mazda, Peter Parker, Bruce Wayne, Jesus, or the monster under the bed of a 4 year old child. They are all fictional characters. God is just the generic name of the fictional character that some people believe “created” the world. A belief they either acquire through indoctrination or sometimes by creating their own particular brand of bullshit or deity.

Nigeria is a lost cause, I am sorry to say. Everytime we loose to Argentina by a goal margin , people will keep shouting we tried, I nearly fought with one man last world cup, we needed a draw, Argentina needed a win to qualify, they still beat us and the man was saying we tried by loosing by a goal margin and we should consider that Argentina has Messi ,et Al. I was infuriated, how can we play Argentina 5 times at the world cup and lost all the matches? Even Togo would get at least a draw from 5 encounters.

The way we validate mediocrity shows in every aspect of our lives in this country, see the new naira notes too, just like immersing the old notes in water color.
Argentina wished the country in the green jerseys was Nigeria instead of Saudi. They would have won 2-1.

All brawn no skill African teams. The problem is often with the coaching crew in my opinion.
The Senegal and Cameroon coaches need to hire foreign assistants to teach offense and goal scoring. They can handle midfield and defense but are completely clueless on offense.
