richmond500:Stop lying! Ink never even dry on many of the policies wey the Senate sign yet your conclusion is that even without actual implementation, it has been achieved. What do you gain by these lies? ![]() |
yommen:And the current administration is not even ready to tackle the problem of insecurity in Nigeria evidenced by the fact that it remains interested instead in looting the treasury blind and destroying the economy further in turn fueling the problem of insecurity and crime in the land. ![]() |
Proudlyngwa:You are not being serious, are you? 🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐 2. A country grows by having its people trained as most of its youths trained as vulcanizers, tailors, and mechanics, and traders? Are you serious? ![]() 3. The word improvise pretends that you have something-- resources , skills, tools, etc., ---to aide the improvisation. Most Nigerians are dirty poor, lack the knowledge and necessary skills to do what you demand. ![]() A farmer with only a hoe and his seeds cannot be used expected to improvise beyond the limits of his tools and resources. So how can you suggest improvisation as a way forward? ![]() |
okpukpu:Before all of this APC scourge befell Nigerians, were the people thinking right to have elected APC into office and even allowed a sick man remain in office even after the lesson that was Yar adua? ![]() Abegi! |
🤣🤣🤣🤣😂🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
danhans:The World Bank is not saying anything different from what it said(IMF) said back ij 1986-1992 regarding the best way forward for Nigeria. The same set of reforms that were presented to IBB—he reused to wholly implement and maintain the reforms—are the same set of reforms that are needed even now if Nigeria is to move forward. Obasanjo started wholly implementing some of them in 2003 and he maintained those reforms until Yar adua came in and then reversed most of them before he died bringing Nigeria back to square one again. ![]() The question now is will the current administration wholly implement the plans and sustain said implementations or will it simply continue looting Nigerians blind while it lies that it has put reforms in place? ![]() |
chaloskyx:Was the devaluation of the Naira that occurred during the Buhari regime equally to blame on the IMF & World Bank? ![]() This is a report that came out last year on the issue of rapid devaluation that occurred. Also note that as we speak, there are still multiple Fx Windows operated in Nigeria to this day. ![]() https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2024/01/29/pwc-collapse-of-fx-market-into-single-window-led-to-98-devaluation-of-naira-in-2023/ 2. How come, back in 2003-2007 when Obasanjo diligently implemented and maintained the reforms suggested by the IMF & World Bank, Nigeria's economy instead experienced a resurge of kinds that it had never before experienced? ![]() Rather than pay attention to what other Africans argue, investigate the details for your own self to learn fact from propaganda and lies! ![]() |
Blackdisciple:Stop yapping these excuses abeg! ![]() |
OLAADEGBU:In his next life, he would wonder why he is deathly afraid of heights. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
richmond500:Stop lying! ![]() What is currently still there are still just the policies on paper to get the reforms in place. The actual implementation --- even plans for implementation --- remain missing to date. Why? Because your government, 18 months in, is not ready to in fact implement any of the reforms as it is busy looting Nigerians blind while telling them to hold on in suffering. ![]() |
Proudlyngwa:1. Learning what trades? Vulcanizing? Mechanic? Tailoring? What do you mean by trade in this case? ![]() 2. No be engineers you dey mean? Aren't those trades that are typically learned in formal educational settings where students conquer booty the theory and technical aspects of the technical program? ![]() |
chaloskyx:That is a bloody lie! Stop allowing your corrupt kakistocrats deceive you with propaganda for Pete's sake! ![]() Nigeria has yet to formerly implement any of the reforms suggested by the World Bank to date. The lawmakers have created policies to enable the reform but that is the most Nigeria has accomplished to date. ![]() |
richmond500:We have, and yet as we speak, Nigeria continues to import fuel... how come? Don't think you can ever impress me with all of the bullsheet claims you are paid to make. Please try to skip over all that trash when responding to my posts. ![]()
|
richmond500:The other commenter is correct to say that there is still not just one Fx window in Nigeria to this day. ![]() How can Nigeria reduce imports when Nigeria does not produce much of what it consumes? Last I heard, Pencils and toothpicks are still not manufactured in Nigeria. ![]() |
Cromagnon:What is with these nonsensical segues for Pete' sake? Is Abroad the topic or Nigeria? ![]() |
Cabalgeneral:If you are Deltan and you own farmland, in say Taraba State, and you then realize that pests have invaded your farm, would you not kill those pests and save your crops? Or do you want us to believe that because you are not from Taraba State, you will allow the pests to ravage your farmland as they please? ![]() |
Cabalgeneral:What are you arguing? Since when is it required that farmers only protect their crops in farms that are located within the same region they are themselves from? ![]() Is a farmer who owns land in the North, for example, not allowed to eliminate pests on his farmland because he is himself from the south east or something? ![]() |
mrvitalis:What nonsense vomit is this? ![]() |
Cabalgeneral:Why would they need to retaliate when the argument is that these southeasterners(southwesterners not excluded)—many of them possibly farmers protecting their crops— kill only the animals that have become pests to their crops? If you have a pest infestation, isn't it common sense to kill off the pests to save your crops? ![]() |
Akfrenzy:🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
Elusive001:Yes, finally, Nigeria has reached the point where it can no longer continue kicking the can down the road as far as corruption is concerned. Corruption has become a blackhole that can not and should not be ignored or Nigeria risks becoming a failed state by 2030. ![]() |
Elusive001:The reforms suggested by the World Bank, many of the same reforms that were part of SAP(1986-1992), and eventually implemented by Obasanjo, although many rolled back during Yar Aduas time in office — are really common-sense reforms that are needed in Nigeria to this day. Many of these reforms have been made into policies however, a problem comes up when it comes time to implement them as the government does not have the will to put in place these measures that will reduce their powers. ![]() Obasanjo was able to begin the successful implementation of several of the same reforms between 2002 and 2007, and I suspect he had sought a third term in office to ensure the reform implementations were maintained beyond 2007. But we all know how that never happened, and Yar adua put a cock on things. ![]()
|
FriendsAndFans:Yes, the grid is now at about 90% assuming generation is really at 5600MW claimed by the government in the resent report. ![]() |
LadyExcellency:Nonsense! ![]() The world bank/IMF did not decide your Nigeria. Rather, your Tinubu and Buhari deceived you by blaming the IMF and world bank like IBB before them did. ![]() |
Proudlyngwa:1. Have you seen the average Nigerian parent before? They are themselves corrupt entities who are all too willing to take bribe, cut down their neighbor for their own benefit, etc. So, how do you expect those same to teach their kids that stealing is bad or corrupt? ![]() 2. I am sorry to tell you but what you already see of Nigeria reflects the quality of informal education obtained from upbringing and society combined in Nigeria even today. And if we are honest, we can at least admit that Nigerian parents are doing a very terrible job raising their kids and changing society. Formal education can actually go a long way in countering a lot of that, however, corruption stands in the way of providing the people with beneficial formal education. ![]() |
Proudlyngwa:But corruption is at the root of the problems in your Education system and the reason for much of the miseducation. Corruption has safely situated itself as the black hole that will stop all progress in that country. ![]() Imagine for one minute the many lies/propaganda that your very president has been reported to have said during many of his interviews, meetings, and live broadcasts — all of these sources of misinformation —, don't you see that corruption is to blame for when it is all without consequence. ![]() |
Olaolar:You chose to make your marriage this way, and you are here to whine about it, why? ![]() Look, if you want your wife to contribute portions of her earnings to the running of the household, then you and her need to come together and make this decision together as a couple. Strangers cannot do this for you. ![]() |
nnatobryno:🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
nnatobryno:🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
DamnnNiggarr:The greatest challenge to Nigeria's development is not food insecurity but corruption that is at the root of the problem of food insecurity. ![]() |
Thrasher2024:This is money for the politicians as there is no way to confirm that 20 million actual Nigerians, all of them living in abject poverty, would get the money. This is the same crook and crime committed during the Buhari period that this administration has been executing for the last 18 months. ![]() |
nlUSER77:Nonsense claim! ![]() Africans still dey tackle corruption on a massive scale --- it has literally become a black hole. And Africa has never truly known capitalism. What part of the Government sharing rice and free cash when the people are vexed while the rich continue to loot the system is capitalism? Nonsense! ![]() |
