christistruth01:Is this some sort of justification for their invasion of other lands and their continued destruction of lives and livelihoods? The thousands of lives that have been lost till date — 4000 deaths recorded in the South West since 2015 from the many clashes between herdsmen and farmers — is more than enough reason why these herdsmen need to be chased back from populated areas. ![]() |
Olaide1295:It is unfair but her response is worse. She showed herself no different from those who charged against her. She is accused of arresting the mother and sister of one of those who targeted her. How does that make her any better than those who do? Given this is Nigeria we are talking about, I think it should be looked into. ![]() https://newtelegraphng.com/toyin-abraham-speaks-on-purported-arrest-of-x-users-mother/ |
officialwdhtv:Isn't this the same woman that supposedly got somebody's mom and sister arrested because she carries some sort of clout? ![]() |
MasterTeeUSA:When will Southerners boycott meat and cattle supplied by these herders? Why are southerners not talking of cutting down on beat and goat and ram supplied by these herders completely abeg? ![]() Why are southerners not thinking of ways to protect their farms and communities, maybe by planting weeds poisonous to cattle as fences all around them? ![]() |
christistruth01:Wrong! Shipping live Cattle down south means more of them would roam down south than up north in search of food. ![]() |
theysg:It is the same "American style" that is used in most asian countries and much of Europe. Yes, the very same that you think is impossible in Nigeria works in even South Africa, Egypt, Kenya, and many other places in Africa. But I knew it was not a solution that you were interested in at all. You just wish to assert your foolishness above all else.... Kwantinue! ![]() |
JuanDeDios:Exactly! Worse, transporting live cows down to the Southern States likely means increased security clashes. ![]() |
Brendaniel:Stop rambling! ![]() |
theysg:Solution to open grazing, you ask. Did you know that most countries in the world including the United States already have solutions to this? You never hear of clashes between farmers, property owners, and cattle herders in those countries because those solutions work very well and can easily and seamlessly be copied to resolve the Nigerian situation. Asking me for a solution means you are aware of how incompetent what your current lawmakers have in place does not work at all. ![]() https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_range |
RhinoChest:A good initiative to give them quicker access to the Southern states where they will go on to continue to inflict more damage to lives and livelihoods? Wow!!! |
Anguldi:Why not boycott meat supplied by these herders altogether? All the blood and sweat of farmers were destroyed along the way by their Fulani herders should be enough reason for you to boycott their goods altogether. So why do you still support their trade and abuse of your local people? ![]() |
LtChisom:YOu go wait till you see them in your farm first? Why don't people in communities across your state organize to plant Cattle-poisonous weeds at borders to keep the herders from entering with their cattle altogether? ![]() |
Brendaniel:What a pathetic attempt at reasoning. ![]() |
Okechinwadike:Stop spreading disinformation! ![]() You met a boy spending money. Did you call for an investigation of his father? Did you send information to have the father recalled? I bet, like millions of others, you simply went online to gossip about it and from there threw up your hands that there was nothing else you could do about it. Am I wrong? ![]()
|
Brendaniel:Stop deceiving yourselves abeg! Have they boycotted meat? You folks need to stop pretending that when you open your mouth you speak for all of those in your ethnicity because clearly, that is not the case at all. Igbos have done absolutely none of what you claim. ![]() |
Ebubu2:We will start to ask if it is sustainable...? Of course! If the vast majority of the people in the land are poor and unable to afford even one ride of the supposed intra-state railway, it makes sense to ask such a question. You point to the situation of little countries in Eastern Europe, and I wonder how many of those little countries lack infrastructure for decent water supply, good roads, well thought-out and developed educational system, and power supply, in a place like Ebonyi and most states in Nigeria do ![]() To be rich means to have basic infrastructure in place which you can then build upon as you go forward. |
theysg:Stop yapping nonsense! Tamed how? Bringing their cattle in by train only means increased access to southern states for whatever destruction and damage they wish to inflict. Nothing of this will stop them from damaging farms and ending lives for their cause. Open your brain up abeg! ![]() |
Atuero:Why are warri people still consuming cattle and beef provided by these herders? Why have the people not boycotted cattle and meat supplied by these herders? Thousands of lives have been lost and livelihoods destroyed, so why not boycott the goods brought in by these herders altogether? Why are people not willing to see that as they eat these meats they eat the meat of those who have lost their lives at the hands of these same gangsters - cattle herders who kill and destroy their farms and properties? ![]() |
Brendaniel:No, it won't! Why communities and individuals have not seen fit to boycott cattle and meat from these herdsmen even after all the reports of the damage and killings is beyond me. There was a report some time ago that over 4000 people have been killed in the SouthWest alone in the last 9 years as a result of clashes between herdsmen and farmers/individuals. This is astounding evidence that the current grazing ideas are doing more damage to the people than ever before. Where was this same problem during Military rule? When will Nigerians wake up. ![]() |
6ixT8:What dignity do you people have and continue to speak of? ![]() |
dovestar:The term human right in the SAMOA agreement is as defined by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. https://www.un.org/en/about-us/universal-declaration-of-human-rights. As a UN Member state, Nigeria was already signed up for the same declaration of Human rights before SAMOA and yes, Human rights includes right to ones sexual orientation. ![]() |
Jogs1900:The Zombie populace is always ready to do exactly that... they don't do much about it. ![]() |
Okechinwadike:Criticizing and insulting them without exercising your civic duty which includes recalling or calling for impeachment of incompetent officers, making your demands known, etc., resolves nothing though. |
Bliztzer:You go kill am? You go love am less than your neighbor love him own son? You go sell am off go buy another son? Wetin you go do? Na to go around blowing hot like cowards dem go see una stand up like say una get backbone... ![]() |
Chimarto:Search Google to find them to find and investigate the available options. ![]() |
