South East does not need more states created. Rather, it should intelligently merge states back to their original position to lift itself out of poverty. I am talking about merging Abia, Ebonyi, and Enugu... back into their previous positions in Anambra and Imo. Creating states because other regions did the same is part reason why the Southeast looks no different from a warzone, much like the many northern states.
