1. The first beast is, I believe, a reference to the religion of Judaism which was dealt a fatal blow when Jerusalem was destroyed and the Nation of Judah eventually destroyed and renamed. It somehow came back alive and has been going strong even after that. The second beast got its power from the first and is likely reference to every other religion that has taken root since then using the name of Jesus Christ as cover.

2. The case here is instead Jesus Christ, as recorded in Scripture, versus, the many claims made by the various religions out there(along with their many sects/denominations) regarding Him. His stance, and that of His Father before Him, is that religion is against the Truth of God i.e AntiChrist.

Relate his story with this; I have a friend who was relieved of his employment with a commercial bank. He had a manager who instructed him to clear a cheque for a customer whose account balance does not correspond with d request. He eventually cleared d cheque on d managers instruction since d manager will be d one answerable to d authorities.
Unfortunately d same day d auditors flashed in and on auditing his transactions they asked what happened and he said d manager instructed him and they asked him if its his personal money would he have done same And he said no...the manager in return denied that he isn't aware.

A 22-year-old assistant bank manager makes no sense either. I think in order to explain how the boy was supposedly able to get access to 500,000,000, the story teller/spinner decided he had to be put in a bank manager role. What Jesus Christ instead meant was that approximately half of the population of men and women in the land at the time that was the last days of God's judgment against the Nation of Israel(and the land of Judah) would be decimated by the armies and chaos that would ensue. Total Obedience to God's Law-- Jesus Christ ---, leads to Holiness. Holiness opens the door to approval from God in the way of Righteous and doing of works of Righteousness all while continuing to walk in absolutely obedience to His Law.
