I don't think LASUTH has any point at all,they are tactfully trying to shift blames to the referring hospital which,in my opinion,is not tenable. Are they trying to say that as a tertiary hospital that they don't asses patients on their own but solely depend on the diagnosis of a referring hospital? He was referred because it is assumed that they (LASUTH ) have more expertise and are in better position to make appropriate diagnosis and treatment. The referring physician only wrote a referral note and not law that must be followed to the letter.

U are saying rubbish. When u bring in a patient from another hospital....the first thing drs look at is the medical history and report from his former Dr. The former Dr stated clearly a mental issue which they could not manage....hence the first line of action is to admit him into a mental ward before any other thing which was done. When the drs noticed it wasn't mental issues they removed him from there...and placed him on the right track. The previous Dr already did enough damage.....imagine giving anti malaria and eye drops plus drugs for mentally challenged people to someone with an inflamed brain. Lasuth is right on track

1. FRSC are not sworn law enforcement police officers. They are road safety officers who can't use any form of force to restrain or detain anyone.
2. They could radio the next checkpoint or nearest police detail in the area.
3. The FRSC officers were compromised the safety of the driver, passenger's, other road users, and even themselves.

French was never compulsory during my school days, it was always optional. Even at that, nobody should be compelled to offer it if the person doesn't want, just because the school lacks the teachers. Same should go with Arabic. In that curriculum, they said it's minimum of 9 subjects but maximum of 10 subjects but there ar only 10 subjects there meaning that students would be found in a situation where they ar to choose between French and Arabic after they must have selected the other more important eight subjects. This puts them in a situation where they would have to choose between French and Arabic. English, Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba and even Arabic teachers abound everywhere. There ar so many graduates that studied these courses and can teach the students to any level even up to SSCE level, an average imam can teach Arabic so well to any level, so Arabic teachers also abound, but we can't say same for French. French secondary school teachers ar very scarce, even during our school days, we used to have only one teacher for the whole junior classes in the school that offer French.
See the solution, let the ministry of education bring back CRK and IRS as separate subjects and still maintain National Values or Civic education as a separate subject, thereby bringing the total number of subjects for JSS level for instance to 12. Then let them still make it that students can offer minimum of 9 subjects. U will see that non-muslim students will have CRK to select and avoid French and Arabic, and Muslim students who school in places that there ar no Arabic but only IRS teachers can easily select IRS and complete their nine subjects without being compelled to offer French.

So there are more graduates in Arabic and other languages than French in Nigeria? Lol

back Islamic Studies and CRK as single subjects out of the Civic Education they were merged into before, but Arabic studies would still continue because Arabic is made compulsory if u can't offer French, the option. Same way French is made compulsory if u can't offer Arabic.
Both of us know how scarce French senior secondary school teachers are in Nigeria, which would mean that most of these students would have to settle for Arabic.

So Arabic teachers plenty pass French. Make una kontinu. French was almost like compulsory all Tru my sec sch....and I know it's same for many others. It's now Arabic was introduced that French teachers are now scarce. Ok na

It is sagay himself that is confused. The Senate can't decide for executive who to nominate for a position but the executive too can't decide for the Senate who to confirm and as long as you are not confirmed as an EFCC chair, you can't hold on to the office illegally. The law envisaged a situation whereby the president may eventually nominate his wife as EFCC chair for vendetta and personal reasons so it created a check and balance via confirmation with the Senate which are representatives of the people. Once the Senate says no, it means no. If you are not happy with your senator decision you can recall him but whatever he does in his capacity today as your senator is legal and must be respected. So it is partisan sagay that is a comedian

U people just like jumping into things that u don't even understand. The senate knows there a gullible folks like u that's why they keep whining. 1. No where in the Constitution does it give a time stipulation for Magu to act. 2. The Constitution which supercedes the EFCC act does not state that Magu is subjected to confirmation by the senate. 3. The senate forwarded the DSS report to the presidency for investigation which was in turn forwarded to the AGF for investigation and possibly prosecution, the AGF found out that most allegations were false and frivolous and cleared Magu, which the presidency notified the senate and sent Magu's name again. The Senate who does not want Magu confirmed still brought in another DSS report, almost the same as the previous and used that again as a reason for him not to be cleared. The question is wat is the 7th senate scared of? The executive should not have even sent Magu's name for confirmation in the first place cos they didn't have to. Lol. It was just a traditional, and this present senate attitude have exposed a loop hole. Every sane person now knows the Executive does not need senate confirmation on Magu.
