TheSuperNerd always called Osimhen a Monster Machine. Today Osimhen lived up fully to the names. Top clubs not signing Osimhen are making a big mistake. His pressing and work rate is insane. He will be an asset to any top manager that signs him.
He was everywhere especially in the second half but Osayi and Bruno really surprised me today, best performance so far from the players.

Elder, I can attest that you have been consistent in saying this about him but I disagree with you slightly.

Here"s my assessment of him after watching eight match highlights of Wrexham AFC (which included the referenced Swansea match in the tweet) from the clubs youtube channel.

Strengths: Calm temperament/composure, commanding goal presence, good positioning, dominant aerial ability, sharp reflexes, elite shot stopping ability, excellent in 1v1 situations, specialist penalty saver.

Weaknesses and Areas of Improvement: A bit gaffe prone, ball distribution needs improvement, mid ball playing ability (prefers to clear back passes rather than play out from the back with his defenders), preference for catching crosses in crowded areas rather than punch out.

In summary. he's a Donnarumma-lite with a high ceiling and room for improvement. I do not think Maduka Okoye is better than him.
Yes, reason why I said with time he would be there just like Okoye but how I wished we can have Josh Chibuzo Oluwayemi in the midst.

If everybody works today ( tracking back, doubling up with the fullbacks against their wingers, pressing aggressively) for the team . I see us in the semi's
How I wished Aina and Frederick are available....happy that Bruno proved he is better than Sanusi, this tournament would have been Festus Agu show

If we were down a goal, Bruno would have chosen to get the ball to Osimhen. Because he has no intention of sabotaging the team.

That is why I hope Chelle changes their mindset to aim for strict adherence to the system, even if we are leading 10-0.

It is a game of mastery and continuous practice.
But has intention of sabotaging the play

We were leading 3-0 against Mozambique when Bruno failed to pass to Osimhen in space. Bruno did not sabotage the team but he sabotaged play.

Finito.
Good 3-0 but if we're trailing Mozambique by a goal he sabotaged the team right not play?

Good analysis.

Okonkwo isn't there yet but he is on the right path and it will be nice to bring him in now to understudy the likes of Nwabali, Okoye and maybe Uzoho too. Amas Obasogie isn't at the level of these people.

Besides Okonkwo, another young boy I have high hopes on is Chibuzọ Oluwayemi who came through the youth system of Tottenham. I wasn't impressed with his move to Australia though.
I rate Josh Chibuzo Oluwayemi than Arthur Okonkwo, his physical presence in a goal post is massive just like Carl Ikeme but Okonkwo is ready for us

I think you are looking at it as a grave context, like wanting the team to fail.

Not in that light. I am talking about sabotaging play. Not sabotaging the team.

I used the Iceland game to highlight my point. Iheanacho was in position to score. Ahmed Musa, instead of giving the ball to Iheanacho, he chose to dribble the keeper and score a wonder goal. I for one critiqued it. Ahmed Musa did not sabotage the team but he sabotaged the play.
Sabotaging play is sabotaging the team...stop twisting things, we're not here for debate

Came across this insight about Arthur Okonkwo on Twitter.
I watched Arthur Okonkwo live during pre season and I was not impressed, against Nottingham yesterday cuz of him I needed to switch to his game watching Cameroon Morocco, not really convincing but saw slightly improved Okonkwo, though better than Okoye when he first got his national team call,I will rate him 7/10 he saved two penalties, now Okoye has improved beyond doubt and highly rated...I think he will come good with time....having Nwabali,Okoye,Okonkwo and Uzoho is good for the team

Yes perfect answer for saying is team work then what produced the two goals na individual work abi...at 63 minutes with good 30 minutes remaining Osimhen would have added to his two goals, well perfect lesson for the team...Lookman IG with Luku, Osimhen and Bruno picture with caption "we're together" telling us something good is going to happen tomorrow, possibly Osimhen hat trick Oga Goke.

Since the first edition in 1957 till date, NO NIGERIAN PLAYER HAS EVER SCORED A HATTRICK AT THE AFCON.
But we have had 2 hattricks bagged against us. It happened in one game only. 2 Egyptians scored 3 each in a 6-3 win at the 1963 Afcon.

Egypt have had 6 hattrick scorers at the Afcon. CIV have had 3. Cameroun, 2. Zambia, 2. Even South Africa has 1 (Benni McCarthy with 4 goals vs Namibia in 1998).

Funny how this stat slaps.
Sincerely Osimhen would have had it against Mozambique, Osimhen and Lookman should be blamed for that drama but anything can still happen as we progresses

You misunderstand him because in your mind you think he's comparing Akinsanmiro to Ronaldo. No. That's not the point.

He could as well have used any other player of lesser pedigree and the point which is that Akinsanmiro is an understudy at this Afcon will still stand.
Future is bright.. Benjamin Frederick,Calvin Bassey,Akinsanmiro,Nnadi

If Osimhen had taken out on Ejuke that day, would anyone blame him?? Hell no, but we were cruising on the same 3 goals. The same scenario was playing out over and over again against Moz. This clip is from the same match. That's lookman with the ball and Osimhen to the left . This one worse pass Ejuke own but we dey roast the young man. Anyways wetin I know sef.
My own is, if u have a sledgehammer, just use it and crush the ant. Then other ants will fear you. SE lost its fear factor the day they started winning even minnows with only 1 goal.
Osimhen only shouted "Hey hey this is a team game!!! There is no player that will not be angry when stuff like this kept repeating itself
If Osimhen take on any player with that attitude many will blame him, forget it was Lookman, the issue here is not the player involved but the drama and it should not happen again no matter what...yes Lookman with the ball with Osimhen on the left and Akor on the right, yes he should have done better but the same Lookman created chances that both Osimhen and Akor scored, football is 90 minutes game with mistakes.. against Algeria don't expect all passes to be given to Osimhen or Akor though some passes are not forgiven and I haven't seen passes that are open and player refused to pass it for a goal bound so far...it seems we're exaggerating some of this stuff if a team is selfish then how did they scored 12 goals so far,one of the best in history of Super eagles in a tournament.

I know eagles would be more clinical against Algeria cuz it will be a dicey game so better for players to improve more on their decision makings,Lookman needs to do more cuz Osimhen and Akor need him most,no need for personal glory but collective one, watching our last four matches, there is improvement in each game so Algeria game will not be different.... Osimhen should calm down and Lookman should know that Osimhen conversion is 85%.

That is Overhyping at its premium.
Ronaldo de Lima was already a World Club winner with Sao Paulo before heading to USA 94.

I think it's Algeria that should worry about our midfield..
They will struggle to stop those Iwobi's telepathic passes from deep
How will they curtail Lookman's and Akor 's runs?
How will they stop our corners and crosses?

Algeria coach will be having headaches by now
Leave Algeria alone to be worrying about us and let us worry about them...we need to up our game against them and we can only win through solid midfied performance and tracking back of Osimhen and Lookman to assist will give us an edge

Twisting facts.

The point was that we were leading 3-0 and players felt they can deviate from the system. The point is that we should have a long term view. No matter the score line, we should keep plugging into the system.
Sir you're the twister here not me,, there was no time players tried to deviate from the game plan

Sir,you've not answered my question, who are the players sabotaging the team, the word sabotage came from you and is heavy,so tell us who are the saboteurs......a team won four straight matches and the team is being sabotaged.

After the match against Uganda, Osimhen was asked if he was concerned about not scoring. He said his concern is for the team to win. The guy is a total team player through and through.

Against Mozambique, while others were seeing 3-0, Osimhen was seeing 10-0.

And then you must factor in how quickly things change in football. We were here when Sierra Leone came back from a four goal lead against us.
Are they Sao Tomel
