When you abandon the system for individual glory, you are sabotaging the system. The system is king.
Oya tell us players who are going for individual glory at the expense of the team

Players like VO comes once in a generation and when he’s done or retired it will take donkey years to see another Nigerian striker like him. We’ve not produced a striker like him since Yekini. I just laugh at those condemning all about him. Has Uruguay produced another striker like the ear biting Suarez?.

When you have such players you focus more on what they deliver to you and manage their excesses that’s best practice all over. Vinicius is another character did he not produce all the goods for Real Madrid? Gattuso was a mad man per excellence did Italy not win the World Cup with him? We Africans especially Nigerians are always looking for unnecessary perfection from people which doesn’t exist anywhere and that’s why we keep underperforming.

Am beginning to like Eric Chelle more no matter what you say about his players he sticks with them no matter what as far as they deliver. If it’s a Nigerian coach players like Nwabali would have been removed to please self righteous Nigerians. He’s bringing that westerner mentality where you focus on what’s being delivered instead of looking for moral perfection and he said it in his interview with Segun Odegbami he’s looking for warriors on the pitch not gentlemen 😂 he himself na werey wey wan slap that Congolese in that wcq play offs!
Sir, you're not getting it,the issue here is simple, it's disciplinary issue or you see anyone condemning Osimhen abilities as a footballer?NO...sir Goke what you wrote here didn't justify what happened yesterday

The system is king. Not the fans, not Osimhen, not Lookman or Chelle. Not the fans. The system. When the players are abandoning the game plan they are betraying the team in the long run. Whether we are winning 10-0 or not.
What game plan are you talking about, you beat a team 4-0 and you're here talking about sabotaging

Osimhen feels betrayed and hurt by people he considers brothers. Chelle needs to get slides and let them understand Osimhen scoring in line with the tactics is a team goal.

The players must change their attitude. We are still a long way to go. Let us not ruin a good position.
Osimhen with 3 goals so far feels betrayed, hurt and sabotaged, hmm it's well o...eagles so far with 12 goals in 4 matches but we're not satisfied

No. I'm not saying that Alebiosu should play instead of Osayi. I'm saying that for me, Osayi has not really been tested because of the opposition we have faced.
Osayi no be newbie for eagles nau....na Aina deputy even when he came in some here rated him than Aina.

😂😂😂😂😂 Osayi no good. He's not better than Alebiosu. Maybe more experienced.

Make Congo or Algeria catch am first. Did you see how Congo tortured Benjamin in that playoff? Imagine if it was Osayi
...and you think Alebiosu can survive Congo Dr or Algeria...the same Mozambique had it good during group stage,so beating them 4 nil shouldn't be used to downplay our players,Osayi did well,so let's hope for better performance

Some spectators were booing wow
Bench Osimheen play Onuachu against DRC, i wanna see something
grin
Osimheen, Iwobi, Adams are team players

That's how Lookman hid against DRC South Africa & Benin republic
Osimheen haaters can be annoying
Abeg he should sit on the bench let others play
When has Lookman bailed us when we are having a bad game
The test starts now
Small teams have been knocked out
Do not worry we would be applauding him next if he repeat the same thing...do we need to bring sentiment to sensitive issue that can disrupt the team synergies.... you're so emotive to the extent that you can't hide the same hate you're preaching against for Lookman and you're calling others haters for expressing their opinions on Osimhen behavior yesterday, even Osimhen real fans are not happy with him.....the issue is not Osimhen vs Lookman but for the success of the team....thank God things have been resolved and we're free to go against Algeria or Congo Dr

MOTM Lookman speaks on Osimhen after the game

🚨“I have not seen Osimhen but I don’t think that matters, Vic is our number one guy, everybody knows this, he’s a top striker. So, all of that doesn’t matter”

- Lookman at the post match when asked on the issue with Osimhen

Source: MickyJnr
Good talk from Lookman...make all players resolve and focus on the next game

Interestingly, before today, there was a general consensus on this same thread, that Lookman is a selfish player..
I was the one even defending Lookman
But because e reach Osimhen turn today, everybody don get data to cook
Only those who don't know football will tell us Lookman is selfish, Lookman style of play can only be appreciated by real football watchers....haba,a selfish player dey get assist and funny highest assists with three goals so far,Abeg talk another thing Oga Ibrich.

Let me make it clear, Osimhen is our starboy so people must talk about him, it's all over social media not only here

Did you observe that after Osimhen shouted at Lookman, Lookman began to release the ball quicker?
He stopped all the needless stunts and dribbles
That's all Osimhen was saying..
Pass the ball on time

Oga haba haha, abi no be the same Mozambique match

The way everybody preek dey charge when it comes to Osimhen matter dey always muzz me sha, one issue like this 49 conspiracy theories don comot.

Like y'all have the drafts and are just praying he should do something wrong. He f***k up, we know, but all these "na why club no wan sign am," "he refused to play 2nd half against DR Congo" na rubbish talk.

He wants the best for the team, but showed it in a wrong way, can you just focus on that and leave takes that make you sound unwise?
BankyGee, Osimhen goofed and I have seen real Osimhen fans here blaming him for that improper behavior

Taking too many touches
I counted like 3 times Osimhen was open, Lookman didn't do the pass, he was there dressing the ball until he lost it

Akor did one or two like that

I vex
Oga Lookman had three assists today for God sake, abi there is anything hidden we don't know cuz you keep on hammering Lookman holding ball but stats say otherwise..... Osimhen fumbled today with that stupid and senseless behavior, enough of all these over pampering here, all players came to represent Nigeria not Osimhen and his goals chart with eagles showed that his mates were really doing well for him...all Osimhen Afcon goals were assists from Lookman,so what's your point.

Osimhen selflessness in this tournament needs to be studied. We all complain about his temperament on the field while some even question his leadership qualities if he would be worthy to be a captain. Fast forward today, he was made captain and I see him being the coolest ever. Selfless, calm and impactful. A top professional
Hmm,when Olosusun Ojota spirits enter him body you go know wetin dey o... Osimhen wey I know dey craze o real G but very calmed against Uganda, well if one want to calm craze man give him leadership you go just see am dey smile like mumu... Osimhen overall performance against Uganda was awesome especially his leadership role

Onyedika passes vs UGANDA
Hmmm, come see comments here on Onyedika and Bashiru before the kick off as if Iwobi,Ndidi and Onyeka are Iniesta,Xavi and Basquet...getting real performance in the middle Onyedika is the man or else we get knockout as competition progresses.
