You still don't understand the game these guys are playing. Lamido, Babangida Aliyu, Oyinlola and Tanbuwal are already APC members. The plan is to keep them in PDP to scatter the party from withing while the others that have decamped openly fight for their collective interest in APC. You can see the level of criticism being dished out daily from "PDP members" on GEJ's administration. Don't you think if they had all moved fully to APC that would have given PDP the chance to recover and reorganise their strategy for 2015? Its like cancer, they left few lumps withing the PDP body to keep pestering it till its final death.. I hope GEJ/PDP understands this game.

I remember all the "free mandela" campaign all over the place while growing up. I never knew anything about politics then but I knew the name Mandela because of the way our people then talked about his freedom, I remember a popular song by a Nigerian artist titled "free mandela" which we all loved to sing during our play time. We should be asking ourselves what went wrong. Mandela stood for black people and if we as the most populous black nation in the world were reduced to mere spectators at his funeral then there's something "unmandela-like" we must have done to warrant this embarrassment.

you are correct, the real battle will be between tanbuwal and shagari. Tanbwual is interested in becoming governor if his presidential ambition fails. His godfather, wamako sees him as a better successor who can cover his tracks than Shagari. He must have done all the calculations and seen that it will almost be impossible for him to secure the pdp ticket for tambuwal due to shagari's influence, so they decamped to APC where tanbuwal is even going ahead to gun for presidency straight up. If tanbuwal fails to gather the necessary support for his presidential ambition, he is sure gonna get the APC governorship ticket, either way, wamako wins.
