Politics › Re: Abuja Shoprite Closed Over Bomb Threat? by kokoA(m): 1:24pm On Sep 26, 2013
Seeing in believing.. I'd be taking a stroll there in no time to see for myself.

I was there two days ago, nothing unusual apart from the military men who stop vehicles at the gate to check for "bombs".. grin An activity we are already use to in Abuja.
Politics › Re: Senate To Dump Biometric Central Motor Registration (BCMR) by kokoA(m): 12:14pm On Sep 26, 2013
emmysenior: I'm so sure that this move is not been kicked against because they saw some flaws in it, rather, it is aimed at sabotaging the president's efforts because of the tension between them.
you think everything is about GEJ right? Why don't you calm down and read the story before jumping into conclusions? The police tried doing this under OBJ and UMY but were turned down by the senate. Why? Simple! The law does not empower them to register vehicles!.. Is that to hard for you understand?

Politics › Re: Kaduna Speaker And Deputy Impeached by kokoA(m): 5:00pm On Sep 24, 2013
lohvang4: Why are some people commenting like kids. How many members form a quorum to impeach? It is 1/3 of the number of members. 18members are even more than a quorum. Enough of media noise-making. Those members stands impeached.
we are not talking about your village assembly here sir.

Politics › Re: Okogie On 2015: Don’t Run, Jonathan, Don’t... by kokoA(m): 10:59am On Sep 22, 2013
kutchs: While I agree with His Eminence that agreement must be respected, doesnt it bother him that the failure ofthe North with whom he purportedly entered into the agreement to present the so called agreement to the public means no such agreement exists? Am even more surprised that Okogie could ask Jonathan not to comtest for an office he is eminently qualified just because some sections of the country dont want him to contest. Okogie must know that the re-election of Jonathan isnt just about Jonathan himself and his ambition but more about the survival of a people. Why does a particular part of the country think that its the duty and right to rule while others' are to be ruled? Nigeria since 2011 Jonathan was first elected has not known peace just because some people feel 'the son of a fisherman, a slave' shouldnt be president over his 'masters'. That is bulls**t. Nigeria belongs to all of us and not just the North and every Nigerian has the right to contest for any office he desires without being intimidated. If Jonathan contesting and winning in 2015 will break up Nigeria so be it, it shows we have no business being together.
Finally, I will keep my respect for Cardinal Okogie but on this one, His Eminence got it wrong, just as I challenged my Rev. Father priest at mass today when he made some silly remarks about Jonathan and 2015, I will also challenge Cardinal Okogie anywhere I see him.
and why does a particular ethnic group feels it can rule beyond six years else they will blow up the country? The south-south cannot force GEJ on Nigerians. If he wishes to contest, no problem with that at all, but why is he compelling everybody in PDP to support him and intimidating those against his ambition? If he believes in his capacity then he should allow his party create a level playing ground for all contestants and let's see if he will come out victorious. The campaign against GEJ has nothing to do with his tribe or region but has everything to do with his performance for the past six years. His administration has failed Nigerians.
Politics › Re: Okogie On 2015: Don’t Run, Jonathan, Don’t... by kokoA(m): 8:20am On Sep 22, 2013
Goddex: Jonathan will contest in 2015 and he will win. No one ethnic region owns Nigeria. Okojie is not a politician. If the killings is because a minority is president for the first time and again, if Nigeria will divide because of that, then maybe God destined it to happen that way and we will gladly welcome it.
Yes no one ethnic region owns Nigeria that is why Ijaws can not force GEJ on us. Nigerians are tired of his poor administration.
Nairaland General › Re: Cheating Couple Forced To Walk Unclad In Benue State by kokoA(m): 12:03am On Sep 22, 2013
peterphd: Pls check my post above.are the things I asked about true? If yes, how can they be dodged?
I am not sure of that o. I heard about the thing as a kid, nobody would tell a kid stuffs about kitty cat and reproduction naw. Ask the idoma elders in the house. I sensed you love eating kitty grin To be on the safe side, do not visit the village yet till you confirm.
Nairaland General › Re: Cheating Couple Forced To Walk Unclad In Benue State by kokoA(m): 11:52pm On Sep 21, 2013
So dis alekwu really works. I've been hearing stories about it since I was kid.. I heard it kills thieves and anybody who commits any evil in the land. Hmmm. No wonder my parents never liked taking us to the village as kids. Being an adult now I know better.
Politics › Re: Michael Anthony Who Saved A Baby From Fire, Dies by kokoA(m): 11:23pm On Sep 21, 2013
This is really touching.. Late Micheal did what most of our jet flying pastors will never attempt. Here is an igbo boy who died saving a tiv child, and we are here fighting over ethnicity. There is nothing wrong with Nigeria or Nigerians, we are just unfortunate to have bad leaders. Michael is surely resting in the bosom of the Lord now. May God keep his family. Amen.
Politics › Re: Governor Amaechi Live On Channelstv by kokoA(m): 5:13pm On Sep 21, 2013
GEJ in his bid to pull Ameachi down has succeeded in making the man very popular among Nigerians. Ameachi is now well known and loved by most Nigerians outside the south-south. We can see how all ameachi related posts on NL generate lots of followership. This is how to become a National politician and not remain local champion. I watched this interview and I said to myself "So nigerdeltans have this kind of eloquent leader and they gave us GEJ"?. I am not an Ameachi fan mind you.
