Muscomide: Shame on Keshi for shooting the messenger. The fact is that no place in the Nigeria of today can be said to be safe. Moreover, a coach of Keshi's standing should be better able to put his point across in a diplomatic way without coming across like a racist thug. We need to keep our house in order and not blame non Nigerians who perceive our country to be unsafe.
I am trying hard not to say this... But.. You are a fat liar.

chukwudi44: Anambrarians will never vot APC no matter what
why don't you speak for yourself sir? The last time I checked APC still has a senator from Anambra. I guessed the non "Anambrarians" in Anambra voted him in right? I have no problem with people not liking a particular party, but such people should never generalize their opinion.

Sec5: why not allow this woman to drink water and drop cup! Are we still criticizing this woman constructively or are we doing it out of envy.If ur wife is to be in her shoes, will you allow her without security considering the security situation of this country? Let us be rational here.
no just make me vex dis morning o. Is she the first firstlady in Nigeria? Or were previous firstladies less secured? This woman caused a mega hold-up in Abuja on friday. I spent 2hrs on the road for a drive that takes less than 20mins normally and you are telling me we are criticising out of envy. Mtcheeewww.
Politics › Re: Interview With Shem Obafaiye, "My Oga At The Top" After The Channels TV Saga by kokoA(m): 6:31pm On Aug 17, 2013
enigmang: Guy that shortcoming is not tolerable

Firstly the reason for the interview was that there where scam recruitment websites... So if he doesn't know the real one why then should he be on the show??

If it was just a random question that popped up yea.. He could be pardoned...Afterall most of the websites I visit even nairaland if not for browsing history na through google..
will you just shutup there?! Did you watch the interview at all? He was asked specifically about their normal website not the recruitment site which he said his "oga at the top" will let us know in due time.. Having said that, he goofed but for you to say his shortcoming is not tolerable shows you will make a very bad leader. A hard-working crime fighter made one mistake which has even brought him fame and you said we should overlook all the wonderful works he's been doing and dwell on his shortcoming. What do we stand to gain from that?! We all witnessed on the floor of the senate where an ambassadorial nominee could not recite our National anthem. What happened?! Nothing! The same person was cleared by the senate. We all had a good laugh when "my oga at the top" was trending, but it time to let Mr. Shem be!
Politics › Re: Interview With Shem Obafaiye, "My Oga At The Top" After The Channels TV Saga by kokoA(m): 12:50pm On Aug 17, 2013
Its a blessing in disguise for our oga Shem @ the top. This man doesn't know the amount of money he is loosing daily.. "Oga at the top" is his creation, he deserves royalties from anybody or group who decides to use it on their products or marketing campaign.

Politics › Re: Fashola Replies Amnesty International, To Build 1,008 Flats In Badia by kokoA(m): 4:35pm On Aug 14, 2013
Having gone through most of the responses to this thread, I have come to the conclusion that most people castigate fashola on this relocation issue not because they have the interest of the poor ghetto dwellers at heart but simply because politics and eye-service. Nobody in here has been able to suggest a better way LAGS should have handled this situation. Please don't tell me Fash should have built new houses for them. How many families out of the thousands would have benefited from this? Let's face the fact, most of these people do businesses which earn them below 18,000 naira per month, so they cannot even afford the cheapest of descent accommodation in a city like Lagos. My point is this, with the little income they make they can comfortably stay in descent face-me-i-face-you houses in any town in Nigeria apart from Lagos, Abuja and Porthacourt. The Lagosians among them can survive with such amount of money in their villages. We all cannot stay in the city center. I reside in Abuja which makes me a living witness to demolition of shanties. Initially, we all insulted El-Rufai but today we can see the benefits of what he did as a Minister. Most people who were chased out of the city have been able to re-establish in neighbouring towns going about their businesses and saving more money than they were pre-elrufai era since cost of living is lower in those towns. They can come into the city whenever they want, do their business and go back to their families with lots of money. Fashola should keep up the tempo, but also be sincere with the masses.

omicron: Oshiomole should stop intimidating civil servants joor! The media can blow up some stories too. The poor woman might as well been nervous, and stutter as a result. #Normal sometimes.
I watched this report on channels tv last night, all I did was shook my head. The woman could not make one simple correct sentence in simple english. When the governor asked her to start re-read what a particular line, she replied "u say make I start am again?".. This exercise should be extended to all states of the federation.
