This is a country of over 200 million people with a good percent living below poverty line, 3 billion is not a huge amount to spend on getting accurate data.

I don't agree with Obi on this. I don't have a problem with the amount spent on verifying the social register, what we should be concerned about is if the money was used judiciously for the purpose, people can't read books when the stomach is empty.
