Family / Re: Wife Catches Her Husband With Side Chick by Kokomo: 3:45pm On Feb 02
KarinaSlim:
If it were the other way round where it was the husband that caught his wife with a side guy, what will he do?

What some cheating men want their wives to accept from them will never be accepted if the tables were turned.
The problem is women dont cheat and still love their huSBAND, they want even mind killing the man. On the otherway, men can love thier wives and still cheat.

Better!

I watched all the videos including the economic test drive from Lag-Ibadan to and fro

The ignition and then the crash test.

I think more awareness needs to be done before any adverts for sales because it's natural for people to be scared especially on a new innovations, rather than ask prospective or interested customers to contact you privately for educative information.

EV and HVs have been in used/existence for a very long time yet Nigerians are still scared of buying or owning one.

Even the cooking gas almost every home both in remote areas are now using there was once a time even lagosians were scared of using it. Many landlord won't even allow you use cooking gas in their houses, so it's normal for Nigerians, civilization us far away from us... Illiteracy is our major problem in this part if the world.

So, it's a good innovation and I would like to ask, GAZZUZZ what will it cost me to install a CNG in my car, I'm interested

The price is scary, but in the long run can be worth it, provided the price of CNG doesnt goes up when demand increase , just like the way we had it for cooking gas after the demand increased. But all in all this is the best time to enter the CNG wagon.

CEO don use the bulk of the $2 million pay himself

Gbam, this is the logic behind setting up a startup, this is where the gain lies, once you can secure that investor money, if you set your salary at 10m, and set benefits like travel allowances, CEO cars etc as you wish

Yes I rebuild.
There is no fixed price for rebuilding engine. It might be cheaper or more expensive than the cost price of a used replacement engine depending on the level of damage and quality of parts that would be used for the rebuild.
But if properly done, a rebuilt engine would outlive a used replacement option.
The advantage you have for outright replacement is the waiting time which would be 2-3 days max.

Ok please can I have your number? If the k24 engine I want to rebuild is not more than half the price of the complete engine, then it is a win for me. If in Lagos I can come for an estimate. Engine burn oil, leaks and the guys man is suffering from old age (compression issues).

If it smokes then it's time to rebuild or replace engine.
@ bolded. If you've been using the factory recommended oil weight, you might want to gradually switch to a thicker/higher rating. Doing so will give you some milage out of that engine, reduce the oil burn problem and top ups intervals before you rebuild or replace the engine.
I won't recommend an immediate switch to 20W-50. You might want to try 5W-40, 10W-30 etc before going the 20W-50 route. If it smokes even with 20W-50 oil, then I'm afraid you'll have to save up for rebuild (which I prefer if properly done) or outright replacement.
Can you rebuild or know someone that can? Also how about the cost implication , 2004 accord engine cost 250k at Ladipo , installation witin a day. how does this compares against a rebuild? CC nuey , deportivo and trygo

None so far!
I bought it as Nigerian used but it could pass for foreign used.
The acceleration is not very quick. The car usually has road noise. Then I noticed if you swim water sometimes, check engine go come out, 'D' will start blinking but the gear selection was still impeccable . I've had the experience twice. First time I quickly called a technician to scan and fix but when it happened the second time, I ignored it. After 2 days the check engine disappeared, D blinking stopped. 3 weeks on it hasn't come up again.

Ok, I will give it a try, which year is the best. I heard the 2009 to 2010 has more horse powerand hence faster,

Indeed the crv looks feminine and the fact that it is mostly used by women strengthens the stereotype. However, it is a very very useful car. Not the fastest car out there, but it's a ride you'll enjoy driving.
So OP if you want to buy, go ahead. I was once in this dilemma but after long hours of philosophizing, it was only the crv that ticked all the right boxes of what I wanted in a car at that moment so I went for it and few months on, no regrets.

Greatly appreciate boss, please what are the common issues you have noticed since ownership? thanks chief
