Both should be good, I heard the mazda doesnt measure up to Honda , reliabilty shouold be in this order: Toyota>Honda>Mazda.

I use the CRV 2008, but I will advise you get the RAV 4 v6 variant, it is better all round, The CRV is also good but with an undertuned engine by Honda, meaning the performance isnt exciting, on the good side the engine avoid the oil consumption and engine issues common in the performance tuned engine variant 2010-2011 CRV but honestly it is a rugged car.
