trytillmake: But apart from CULTURE, most of us claim to be Christians, if 10% of us can at least behave like we are taught in church every sunday, Naija will change, our value system ,money at all cost seems to be the prevalent factor, if the 10% can believe in the bible which says "seek ye first the word all, i REPEAT all will be added to u", if we can take this and hold on to it i believe this country will change.
Again ...if if if

aint happening ...I wish it would.

trytillmake: Nigeria, Nigeria a natiion of more the 170 million people, if we at least have small love and believe in ourselves we will definitely rule AFRICA and conquer the world.
Ifs, ifs ifs ....

Not likely to happen.

Our culture and tradition are not one that breeds love.

Yeecar: Is it possible to get a Non immigrant visa while you have a pending Immigrant visa filed by a relative. I have been denied trice, could that be the reazon for my denial?
Most likely..yes...that's why. The usually dont grant that kind of visa when you have a permanent type pending.

But also, what reason were you given?

CelebritiesRe: Davido Wins Best African Act BET Awards 2014 by kokoye(m): 5:01pm On Jun 30, 2014
cheguevera: This Africans won't learn ,imagine receiving a backstage award for the umpteenth time running. African Americans are ashamed of africans . I don't understand ?
This has nothing to do with race. This is purely a business move. There are several other awards given to americans that are not televised..mostly technical. They do it at the Oscars and Grammys too.

The media will show what people in america want to see because that's who the advertizers/commercials target. So it is all about money.

This in no way diminishes the value of the award. At least theyre recognizing Africans..they really dont have to...?

If you like, when you do your next award show in Nigeria, give out best american singer awards and do it backstage.

Hope you understand now.

FamilyRe: Traits Of Immaturity Displayed By Men In Marriage. by kokoye(m): 4:23pm On Nov 04, 2013
hafi: Got this as a broadcast, would love to know those for the women folks......

*** Signs Of Immaturity In Marriage: FOR MEN ***

1) Rejecting food wen there's an issue:

Oga husband, you gave your wife money for food and after it was prepared you refuse to eat because you dey vex. Its one of the greatest signs of
immaturity, its time to grow up! You should not even abandon your home for any reason, you could go somewhere wen angry but ensure that you don't allow it 2 linger unnecessarily because dat is enough for the devil to build on.
Funny ...some women expect no reaction whatsoever from their husbands when they misbehave. But flip the coin and it's perfectly allowed.

We are not make of stone. We may react when you misbehave ...and you are not supposed to like the reaction??

...deal with it and change your ways...maybe?

Stop playing the victim every time.
FamilyRe: Helping Most Nigerian Women End In Drama: Why? by kokoye(m): 4:16pm On Nov 04, 2013
bigheart2013: My Questions:

1. What is the cause of this general feeling of ungratefulness, and how can we change the mindset of our sisters to start being grateful?
2. What is the best way to give a Nigerian lady a helping hand without attracting these types of ungratefulness, since some of us either still have females we are helping or intend to help?
3. How should one react when one's help is either misinterpreted or treated with ungratefulness, without ending it in drama or enmity?
Answer to 1: That's the way most of them are wired. Ask God.

Answer to 2: Help and dont look back ...dont expect anything in return, including appreciation. Do it for God.

Answer to 3: Refer to the answer above (for question 2).

You're welcome

FamilyWives, Dont Kill The Mood by kokoye(op):
This thread is for married couples only please..those that have 24 hours un-restricted access to their spouses. This is not for boyfriends/girlfriends who hope to score with their dates in a few days depending on how they 'lay the table'. Most singles would never understand what this is about.

Wives, when you guys are getting 'down' (kids in bed, external doors locked, the mood is right, all naked and ready to GO! etc), please focus on the task at hand and dont bring up un-necessary stuff. Things like

- I hope the kids are going to have good dreams

- Why did you not return my call two days ago

- I forgot to greet the security man at work this morning

- I'm not looking forward to fixing my hair next week.

- what are we having for dinner tomorrow

The examples above are things that can wait. No need to bring them up at the "point of entry'.

In case you dont know this, a MARRIED man's (I mean one who gets some regularly) fuse is very short at this precise moment..and he can easily be turned off..and pissed. You know what I mean. We'll switch off and start watching tv ..then you'll say we're acting like spoilt kids sad

Please focus on the issue at hand ..which is enjoying yourselves. The whole thing is only going to take less than 10 minutes anyway wink

Then if you want..and not too tired, you can bring up stuff like which car to drive to work tomorrow ..lol

Again, this is for married couples living together happily only...not some h.o.r.n.y single.

Thank you smiley

Merkki: Men, SHAVE! Pls, i beg you in bended knees. SHAVE! We don't need your armpit hair for Brazilian wig, get rid of that mess. It affects global warming. Save a soul. Save this generation.

SHAVE!
In the United States, you will be called g.a.y for shaving too clean (especially sportsmen). But it's nobody's business what I have under my armpits...so..big deal.

I was raised in Nigeria so it's still clean shaves for me anyway ..plus roll on and body spray.
