NYSCRe: Okorocha Begins Payment Of N10,000 Alawi To Imo Corpers by kokoye(m): 3:17pm On Oct 10, 2013
The question is ...can the state really afford it ..or they're simply enslaving the citizens' future in debt?

chinaman666: Not true at all, skinny clothing is in style even for hetero men in the US. This is not the 90s or early 00s any longer. Yes, I understand it takes a few years for world trends to reach Nigeria.
I dont know where you live ..but come to Texas (or any other southern state) and dress skinny. Enjoy the reaction..

Except maybe you're known to be in the entertainment industry

You're welcome..

RomanceRe: Girl Dumps Boy To Test The Waters..is This Right...and Properly Done? by kokoye(op): 1:06pm On Oct 08, 2013
kulyie: nope! Most likely some people will refer to him as a 'sharp guy, smart guy, badt guy, brilliant guy, badoo' etc
Agian, that's why i'm trying to get the female perspective on this.

If the guy had dumped the girl when he was about to go to college (just as this lady recently did), what would most ladies, wives and mothers think of him?

I told my wife this story and she said she would discourage her son from ever falling in love.. lol. I then asked her how she would feel if she heard her own mother in-law (my mom) say that. She ignored my question..of course! LOL
RomanceRe: Girl Dumps Boy To Test The Waters..is This Right...and Properly Done? by kokoye(op): 9:03pm On Oct 07, 2013
SLIDE waxie: by the nigerian context, yes. But the truth is, will it be better for the girl to be cheating on him (cos she definitely will)?

In a part, its nice she dropped it like that, in the other part, she is clearly,

1. A b!tch if she only wanted to fucck around.

2. A honest person of she just can't go on with the guy.

Kini big deal?
That's why I agreed with what she did....but she should have done it over the phone.

Again, what if the boy had done the exact same thing a year ago when he moved to college in Chicago.....would we call him an asewo..or call him mean and callous?
RomanceGirl Dumps Boy To Test The Waters..is This Right...and Properly Done? by kokoye(op): 5:20pm On Oct 07, 2013
True Story - I know the kids involved.

Boy and girl live in same neighbourhood (Houston Tx) and have been dating since high school ..going on 6 years now. Boy (now 21) got into a Chicago uni last year but flies home regularly because of the girl. ..all is well.

Girl (now 19) is starting University of Houston this fall, will be leaving in a hostel and already has been invited to join a sorority. Her first time of staying away from her parents and is obviously excited about all the fun that awaits her.

Girl calls the boy that there's something they need to discuss face to face. Loverboy flies to Houston right away to meet with the girl so they can discuss.

Girl breaks up with boy. Reason - she's just starting her life and wants to tests the waters...meet new guys, enjoy her sorority, enjoy the freedom of not living with her parents, etc.

Boy gets home and starts crying furiously. His parents are furious that boy wasted time and over $250 to fly to Houston only to be dumped..when he should have been back in school facing his studies.

I personally agree with what the girl did ...but she should have saved him money and time by dumping him over the phone.

I just discussed this with my wife..she said she hopes her own son does not fall in love anyhow. I laughed and told her to reverse the genders.. and then think about it.

So, ladies in the house,

- did the girl do the right thing by facing reality and breaking up with the boy?

- Flip the script, how would it have sounded if it was the boy that broke up with the girl ..for the same exact reason? Wont he be called callous, mean and heartless?

Wifey took the day off to do tiny braids and she came home feeling exhausted.

- the entire process took almost 8 hours (two braiders most of the time)

- it cost $200!!!

- Now she cant even sleep comfortably for the next few days because her head hurts and her neck is stiff....and I cant touch!!

- the braids are not on her head forever..she'll be taking them off in about 2 months max.

- she'll have to spend some hours taking them off again and maybe some money in the process.

- God help you if your wife has a big head ...double the number of hours!

- The money and time increases geometrically with every daughter you have!

Before you say you are doing the braids to look good for us, we'll have you remember that braids are not the only hairstyle you look good with..and we care more about what's on the inside of you smiley

The guy believed that pastor 'baptized' his wife ..that's why.

A few days earlier, the guy confronted his wife with the allegation..which the wife denied. The following day, the wife filed rape charges on the pastor.

A few days later, the guy went to shoot the pastor.

Some women.

Your president does not care....read his lips.

Nigeria is getting better ..as long as its 0.0001% citizens are buying g-wagon and moving to Lekki.

who cares about the remaining 99.9999% ??

The politicians need those people to be poor anyway..so they can be used as tools.

And may thunder fire anyone who says 'end time things'. ASUU and NASU have been going on strike in Nigeria for over 25 yrs!!

The boy will now become the property of the state govermnt ..they will send him to the best schools, etc.

I smell a consipacy here. Parents are now encouraging their kids to 'go missing'.

That seems to be the best way to get noticed.. and help from the govt.

But I switched off the camera and voice controls because it can be distracting at times - you raise your hands for some other reason and the TV starts acting up ..or your saying something and the tv thinks you're talking to it smiley

For me, the best part of this tv is the screen mirroring ..and the smart view. Awesomeness!
