Its far more benefiting to more Nigerians starting from Lagos.

stanluiz:
Tinubu and his cronies will use that scam of a project to loot a lot of money!

There is a reason why that project is starting on Lagos instead of calabar.

The company that is handling that project couldn't complete 50km lekki-epe expressway. It is 700 km Lagos Calabar coastal road that they will complete ?

Las Las, the so called Lagos Calabar coastal road will be a white elephant project.
the right place to start the project will always be Lagos even if debated a thousand times. Of what use will the project be if it started from Calabar and remained useless till it gets to Lagos. Nigerians will start ripping the benefit of the road at every kilometer completed from Lagos.

But Tinubu is hiding price nah a reasonable country should make the price known to the public.
How have they arrived at $12.56b if they are hiding the price. The cost is in public already and you are still asking same questions. Open you eyes and stop fumming confusedly.

If there is anything more than worst, Glo is that thing. Even now Glo service has not been restored. I did recharge 2k from my bank account, to my surprise I received their bereket but my account balance still reads zero. I have call their customer care for two days now, I can't even hear them. No network will be like mtn.
you keep lying like a goat, you received bonus while your main balance is not credited, lies upon lies, abi you don borrow so tee the money was removed immediately. You don't like Glo we understand, but stop the pull down syndrome on our own local operator. I have been on Glo for over 10 years and I do not have any reason to stop loading their data. I also have MTN line I only use as a back up line only load that once in a while to keep it live.

self deceit, glo users have no complain because they are actually been served well. MTN users are like iPhone users, given way less and still proud of taking less for high price.

If it were to be a working system for the benefit of the people of this country, DSTV monopoly should be broken at all cost. It will not only help in reducing capital flight of enormous profit in dollars made in the country by foreigners, it will also provide more opportunity to Nigerians creating more jobs and also Nigerian owned company will not export profit out of the system.

Politics / Re: EFCC Raises Task Force Against Dollarization Of Economy by kolaaderin: 11:18am On Feb 08
emkz:
What MUST be done:

1 Outright ban of the use of dollars within Nigeria.

2 Give holders of dollars a month to put it in the banking system after which it will be seized if found on the holders.

3 People like Herbert Wigwe charging tuition fees in their universities in dollars need to be compelled to pay their workers in dollars and also pay electricity bills, diesel bills, and other expenses in dollars.

4 All BDCs must be heavily regulated and if dollars is sold to anyone, the reason must be compelling and must be traceable.

5 Arrest politicians found with dollars.

6 We can't afford to have accounts opened in foreign currencies within Nigeria. Our economy can't support it.

7 Some of the things we import are not needed. Therefore impose heavy taxes on luxury cars, foreign wines, clothing, and food. Visit shops and hike the tax on foreign commodities like cashew, apples, and shoes. Nigeria is a big market. The least Toyota and Honda owes us is to run assembly plants within Nigeria.

8 NNPC must be stopped from selling crude oil to local refiners in dollars.

9 No company, including foreign ones, must be allowed to pay any worker in foreign currency. The idea of working in Nigeria is that you spend your earnings in Nigeria. If you want to remit funds abroad, use proper banking channels to do your transfer and pay the appropriate fees.

10 We found out that some embassies in Nigeria collect visa fees in foreign currencies in cash in Nigeria. We call on the foreign affairs minister to call those ambassadors to stop the practice. Some of these embassies use the desperation of our people to prey on them and commit crimes that cannot be tolerated elsewhere. Any embassy operating in Nigeria that cannot respect and idolize our naira should close and go elsewhere where such crimes of collecting a non-legal tender within a country they operate in is allowed. If they collect naira, they can use our banks to remit the funds or use online transfers so they can get the forex equivalent of the naira charges in their accounts in their countries. I call on Nigerians to be bold enough to report some of these embassies for the sharp practices.

11 Some of the embassies in Nigeria are desperately corrupt. Especially of some countries in the EU.
Practical solutions but this fellow that made this comment will never be allowed close to the corridor of power to Influence anything. You have said it all my brother, but people like us with sense will not win even your household if you contest for any post in Nigeria.

The aesthetic is no longer the better part of football but winning.
it does not matters that they came first of the group, the performance is serious mediocre and should be addressed as it is. Gone are they days they will be hailing them for performance on luck.
They are only lucky to win the 2 matches and the performance will take them nowhere. I like the president for speaking the truth, we should not hail mediocre performance for qualifying with luck.

Politics / Re: We Will Have Diesel, Aviation Fuel In The Market This Month - Dangote Refinery by kolaaderin: 11:36pm On Jan 13
BarrElChapo:

Cc. Shikini
No jet fuel without kerosene. Jet fuel is just kerosene with addictives to improve it's composition in extreme condition for aviation use.
Why no one talks of kerosene again is that it's should be strictly regulated for aviation use only to encourage people to use natural gas LNG for domestic use so as not to continuously cause distability in pricing and unnecessary demand while their is a more reliable and cleaner alternative of natural gas for domestic use. The whole world has moved away from domestic use of kerosene, while should Nigeria remain stocked with it when it's way cheaper and healthier to use Gas at home.
