Please spare us the rubbish, your God is nothing but a myth invented by men, therefore he can't do squat.
Hi there! With all due respect, would you pls clarify what you mean in saying God was invented by men?

Well, if there wasn't a God, it would have been necessary to invent him.
Fortunately, we are spared the burden of such invention as He is, and is the only self-made entity there is!

They knew what they was doing when they finally allowed paypal in nigeria, they knew nigerians are scamgerians,so it took em time to think and re-think before they could let paypal thrive here with so much restrictions and in their favour...do we use paypal? Yes!! Can a nigerian receive fund through paypal? No!,Only if our leaders could think like these people until then its still gonna be captivity of negativity
Good Morning brother man, what do you mean "I don't know if God exits"? I know my question is off the paypal subject but i'll really like you to illuminate me on your thoughts on the existentiallity of God. (Note: I mean no offence, whether implied or otherwise)

Oh Sweet Pea, you are getting it all twisted! And it leaves the feeling you aren't very familiar with your bible (that is if you aren't a Muslim or even a pagan, no offense). You might want to look up 1 Corinthians 11:9.

It is what it is (not that I vote for infidelity any how). A woman's calling is not to rub shoulders with a man and share privileges as a right. Unfortunately, our women are misguided by the illusionary idea of gender equality pushed by the western world whose very hankering for unlimited freedom has subliminally conned them into irrevocable slavery.

And men who generalise women as b*tches can't be further wrong and they know it too. Just that they have to find a way to vent the frustration and/or disappointment meted them by such women.

Christianity EtcRe: Fatoyinbo's Yacht Birthday Party In Dubai (Photos) by KoldKash(m):
You see Boss, I don't know what your religious orientation is; by this I am not implying i'm a promoter of denomination:I don't promote denomination, I promote the kingdom of God.

Firstly, it's so wrong for you to fault the Bible as inconsistent or self contradictory. The bible is a perfect book and it is neither faulty nor self contradictory ( the problem is the bible will always confuse those who attempt to interpret it intellectually) (the bible is not any man's opinion according to 2 Timothy 3:16 "all scripture is given by inspiration of God"wink so the bible is the ultimate moral standard hence, it's never confusing.

Talking of people that killed when the bible says thou shall not kill:weren't they killing the enemies of God at God's command?

On giving to God, from the time of Abel who made a sacrifice that was accepted by God to the time of the church at Corinth where the members gave to support Paul, no one has put an offering in God's hand or account before.it was either offerings were burnt as sacrifice in the old testament or given to the priest on the altar as confirmed by Jesus Himself in the new testament.
Boss13:
I do not know how to address your comment because it was intertwined with mine.

Regardless, it is rather confusing when you relate to the bible on things that are purely unethical and immoral. Your bible says "thou shall not kill" however it was plausible for David, Moses and Joshua to kill or witness the killings of other humans. Though I still consider the bible as a good moral book, I refuse to refer to it because of the many inconsistencies the book contains.

For avoidance of doubt, if you give in church, you give to your pastor and not God. Let's stop the nonsense and put on common sense. That amount is lodge into any of the 25 Banks in the country and not in any heavenly account. That same amount can be withdrawn and spent by your pastor as signatory to the account and not by imaginary angels.

My reference to sexual escapades is because the same pastor agreed he had sex with his member in London. Please also note that there nothing absolutely wrong in criticizing immoral and unethical pastors based on the abuses they carry out. Don't get petrified over some quote.
Christianity EtcRe: Fatoyinbo's Yacht Birthday Party In Dubai (Photos) by KoldKash(m): 11:25am On Feb 09, 2016
And that bible also says that a worker is worthy of his wages.don't know what u mean by economic activity but rest assured, it's not easy to be a pastor.you work in dual capacity:spiritually and also physically.
Boss13:
.

Your comment is disgusting. I hope the mind the comment came out from is not rotten. People of your mindset see the truth and refuse to address the ethical and moral consequences involved but justify such action with the bible. The same bible that condemns extravagance lifestyle and opulence.

I think many of us are not interested in whether the bible justifies your pastor to take a trip to Dubai, hire a yacht, wear white Versace, drink champagne, have sex and blow money. We are concerned because here is a man who arguably do no economic activity in the country. He pays no taxes, he doesn't manufacture anything. He just speaks on Sundays and collects donations from supposedly gullible members. His economic activities do not relate with the lifestyle he is living.

Now, these donations, supposedly are expected to be used for members welfare. However, how many members can confidently say they know how their donations are being spent! You just come to me and tell me God is blessing your life when I see no economic activities around you. What you and these blood sucking pastors are succeeding in doing is to encourage this corrupt system we frown against. Nobody wants to preach or talk about hard work anymore. What you hear is God bless me - how? Except you want to steal, just like we are seeing presently in the economy.

A pastor would receive a Porsche from a member without asking him how he got the cash to procure such vehicle. So my friend, ethically, your pastor is wrong. He is supporting a bad system of life. Whether you want to coat it with some more sweet bible verses is up to you.

Well Boss,u are missing the most important piece of the puzzle:if u are a christian, when u give an offering in Church who do u give it to, the pastor or God? If to God, as should then it shouldn't bother u how it is being spent by the pastor who is God's steward:he owes accounting his stewardship to God not u.

I don't know where in the bible God condemns a birthday celebration, as for champagne, sex and the rest; you are on your own.I didn't witness it so i'll keep mum on that.when it comes to men of God we ought to approach with caution for Aaron and Miriam spoke ill of Moses and you know it didn't sit well with God (Numbers chapter 12).

You can work as hard as you can, if the blessing of God is not on you then be sure you will just be toiling without bearing any tangible fruit.so "God Bless You" is not a substitute for hard work but a catalyst for profitability(Psalm 127:1, except the Lord build a house, they labour in vain that build it)(1 Samuel 2:9...For by strength shall no man prevail)(John 3:27...A man can receive nothing unless it has been given him from heaven). So men of God are right to call down the blessings of God on God's people. (Numbers 6:22-23, and the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the way you shall bless the children of Isreal....27, so they shall put my name on the children of Isreal and I will bless them.so Boss, God blesses His people.God Bless You.SHALOM

I'd overlook the above mouth running if they came from Muslims, but from Christians, not at all.

At ur own level, how many less privileged people within your sphere of influence have you been of help to? (This is the same pastor that distributed food and clothing to the poor just last December).

Romans 14:4, "who are you to judge God's servant?,to his own Master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand."(last time I checked, God didn't employ anyone an auditor in his vineyard)

And what part of the law forbids a pastor from celebrating his birthday? (Does not the scripture say in Isaiah 25:6 "in this mountain will the Lord of host make for all people a feast of choice pieces, a feast of wine on the lees,of fat things full of marrow, of well refined wine on the lees."

Whatever happened to the scripture saying in 2 corinthians 8:9 "for you know the grace of our Lord Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich."(SO WHERE IS ALL THIS STEREOTYPE THAT A MAN OF GOOD SHOULD BE POOR AND BEGGARLY COMING FROM?

Let's try a bit of forensics here.they fought long and hard until he subdued him and slit his throat then disposed off the body in a bush.

1) where were his neighbours that they couldn't separate the fight and broker peace between them?
2)how can a 22-year old take out a 23-year old so flawlessly, all by himself?
3) how feasible is it to transport a dead body from your house to a bush without being seen?
3) girls are known to scream and call for help when guys engage in blood fight, why was this girl different?

Maybe the dead was lured to a bush and killed there or he had his throat slit while asleep.
Hit like if you think same.

You seem to be quite familiar with fools going by your frequent reference to them.

The fact remains that this move will reduce forex activity in the parallel market, and minimize the frequent round tripping where BDC's get forex from the CBN at official rates only to dispose of them at exorbitant rates. You failed to factor the fact that the current official exchange rate is fixed and not floating.

The grand question is, why is the official fixed and the black market rate floating?

Without BDC's, where would Nigerians easily get the forex to deposit in the first place?

There is however no doubt that this move would ease pressure on forex demand which would ultimately help the recovery of the Naira....which is the ultimate aim.

Carry go.
Don't let them fool you.this measure they are taking will reduce dollar supply and that will in turn increase demand for dollars.any fool knows increase in demand increases price and that way the dollar will only keep soaring higher which is the vested aim of CBN.That way, they'll be able to scrape off a few extra dollars on crude oil sales to make up for the falling prices of oil

I get your stance. But, we can both agree that every other thing we do ain't part of our culture. I mean, fashion, food, lifestyle etc. Not all Americans walk naked even when it's extremely hot. Lool. I may just be baised toward my view because i'm a sucker for freedom of expression as long as no one is hurt. What exactly is african culture if I may ask? Because, the real African attire for most culture exposes the legs and body generally. I'm talking from Mum's old picture collage when she was an adolescent. They were body-exposing bare dresses throughout and it's the CULTURE even in her small Ekiti hometown. Oh well...
Maybe those are pictures from some cultural dance performances mum did or probably a drama.

But to be fair u have a point.our cultural costumes used to bare those parts, at least as portrayed in Nolly Wood. Buh we know better.

lol. I'm not screaming, handsome. I don't see anything American nor african about a family's decision to share their joy and expectation in pictures. I have seen millions of pictures like these ones and they are not Americans, they are Nigerians. I think it's individual preference and choice which should be respected. They are happy as you can see from the pictures. The best thing to do as an outsider is to share in their joy because noone (at least an outsider) knows their story and the reason for their excitement. It's something I can do ( if husband approves of it of course).
What I mean is, it's not our custom or culture to showcase baby bump. The trend is borrowed from the states. it can be ok indoors but not beyond that.during summer some American women walk the streets without a blouse on.they give that a fancy name going "topless" and it won't be too long our women here will follow suit and then we'll all say nothing is wrong with that.

just when I thought you quoted me to show me the dirt. All I see is a happy family expecting their bundle(s) of joy . How they choose to express their joy is by taking pictures of the pregnancy for posterity purpose. I see no dirt in something so beautiful that loads of people crave and will dies to be in their shoes. I just can't see dirt in beauty. I'm so proud of wearing the "wrong glass", if it means not seeing bad in something so surreal, beautiful, emotional and deep as a baby bump. Cheers.
Don't scream, pretty.u are not alone.which ever side u are on be sure u got company.but the truth is we are not Americans and we will never be.we come from a culture that advocates decency."We may never be perfect but we sure can be decent".

RomanceRe: To The Nigerian Men Craving Virgin Wives by KoldKash(m): 8:51pm On Jan 07, 2016
It's really unfortunate how SHAMELESS we are slowly becoming! pple have premarital sex, yes; but is it right, NO.so writing up and commenting in d affirmative to a negative is rather pathetic.

If a gal, say age 25 marries as a Virgin, there's no doubt she has been in control of her sexual drive to achieve that feat and therefore is highly likely she can be a faithful wife-the same holds true for a man.

I wonder why nobody has considered the psychological effect of premarital sex on both genders.we now have women that can't be sexually satisfied and yet nobody has wondered why is that.one of the benefits of marrying a Virgin, man/woman is that satisfaction is guaranteed. You can't be that sure with a woman who has sampled all kinds of penis sizes and different sexual stamina(some natural some others performance enhancers) if that woman for any reason ends up marrying an average performer, then you can be sure that's infidelity in the making
